Dribbling, Turning, and Ball Control

Session 1: Foxes & Chickens

Session 2: The Dog Catcher

Choose 1 or 2 players to be 'foxes', the


remaining players are 'chickens'. Chickens place
a penny into the back of their shorts to create a
'tail'. The objective of the game is for the Foxes
to steal as many chicken tails as possible. Once a
player loses their tail, they enter the Chicken
Coop by the coach. Game is played for 2-4mins
or until all of the chickens have been caught.

Session 3: Stuck in the Mud

Players are split into 2 teams, each player


has a ball. Players are to 'free dribble'
around the area until the coach yells 'Dog
Catcher!' Players are then allowed to 'steal'
other players balls and kick them out of
the area. Players who lose their 'dogs'
stand in the 'Dog pound' by the coach.

Session 4: 3v3 End Zone Game

All players have a ball & free dribble around


the square. Coach will send in 1 'Mud
Monster' who will attempt to tag field
players. Once tagged, player is 'stuck in the
mud' & stands with the ball on their head
and legs wide open. Players can only be
saved by fellow dribblers who pass the ball
between their legs.

Print Session

Players are split into 2 teams, team 1 attacks


the Orange end zone (Zone 1), team 2 attacks
the yellow end zone (zone 2). The objective is
to dribble the ball into the opponents end
zone (under control) to score a goal. Ball
cannot be passed into the end zone, it has to
be actively dribbled in there. Players defend,
attack and contest the ball like a real game.
