First of all, let us praise upon the almighty God for the grace. So we can
gather here today in a perfect condition. It was such a great honor for us in
accepting your kind presence to march the 26 th ACSIC Training Program
opening ceremony. This event will mark the ACSIC annual event that has
been rolled since ACSIC establishment in 1988.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please allow us to recite an overview about ACSIC, and hopefully all of you
could recognize why today became one of the most important day within
Askrindo journey in supporting Indonesia SME businesses.
ACSIC, stands for Asia Credit Supplementation Systems Institutions
Confederation, is one of communication forum and sharing media for
institutions that supports SME development, through credit supplementary
role that assists SME financing needs. ACSIC currently has 12 country
members, and they are India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia,
Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and
Thailand. ACSIC itself has a purpose to promote the sound development of
the credit supplementation system for small business in the countries
including regions in Asia, as it was stated in Charter of ACSIC.

Within the Bali Declaration signed in November 6th, 2007 on Denpasar Bali
by all ACSIC members, in order to achieve its purpose as a center to develop
credit supplementary institutions, all ACSIC members are committed to fulfill
actions as follows:
1. Continously contribute credit guarantee/credit insurance service in the
development of SMEs in member countries.
2. Agree that The Credit Guarantee/credit insurance institutions will strive to
support the government in establishing, encouraging, and developing
SMEs.
3. Play significant role in complementing the Governments effort to
strengthen SMEs to compete globally.
4. Build close working relationship with mutual knowledge sharing, arrange
the study visit, co-organize and participate in seminars or workshop
beside the annual ATP and conference.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
That concludes about ACSIC overview, and that made it crystal clear this
training program had a noble purpose to develop the economy through SMEs
development. That is also brightens the reason why Askrindo strengthen
their commitment to ACSIC, because for us, developing the Indonesia SME
businesses is a mandate that cannot be by passed by any other interests.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We will start this training program with presentations by each participating
institutions, followed with a field trip to visit our local Balinese SMEs and Bali
worldwide-famed tourist sites. Hopefully, it will be a pleasing experience to
strengthen the relationship among the participants in order to reach the
long-term mutual relationship. So that ACSIC effectivity and existence will
last.
The 26th ACSIC Training Program main theme is Credit Supplementary Role
in Enhancing The Resilience of SMEs Due to The Impact of Global Financial
Crisis. During the presentation, the participants will carry the specific topics,
which is to me personally is very attractive, about how each institutions in
support and develop the SME in their respective countries to face the global

financial crisis. Although the crisis is gradually decreasing, nobody can

guarantee the crisis wont happen again in the future. Thus, the exchange of
ideas & experiences within this program will be a valuable activity to all
participants, in anticipating similar issue.
The SMEs visit and tourist sites will hopefully became an unforgettable for all
participants, so that you will encourage yourself to come here again and
attract more of your acquaintances as well.
We will say our most sincere gratitude and appreciation to all parties for their
support in this training program.
May the God will grace and repay your kindness.

Dear all participants,

Allow me to say, welcome to Indonesia and I hope you will enjoy all the
agenda prepared by The Organizing Committee, and making it an
unforgettable experience. I believe you all have prepare well to share
knowledge and experiences, also to strengthen relationship among others
that benefits not only to you, but also to all SMEs everywhere. Along with
prayer to God, I declare the 26th ACSIC Training Program is officially started.
