Today I began running the board through the thicknesser and marking
out the circles. Then I began to cut the timber into the required parts I
needed.
Today I gained experience in marking and cutting the required
pieces I needed in order to gain the desired design to justify the
need and identify the brief. I have gained experience in creating
a patter/effect for the desired design through this activity. Using
annotated sketches and cut outs this was simplified as I
prepared beforehand.

How might this

activity impact on
the internship
outcome

By preparing sketches and cut outs of a draft this had a positive

impact on the internship outcomes as this activity was planned
beforehand and produced a time efficient activity on the day of
manufacturing. Note that the circles are not glued together at
this moment as there was not enough time left during the day
to move on to the next process.
