Aim
To prepare 25 ml simple syrup, a saturated aqueous solution of sucrose.

Procedure
1. 16.68 gm of sucrose is weighted and put into a beaker.
2. Small amount of purified water is added into the beaker to dissolve the sucrose.
3. The beaker is put in the water bath and stirred slowly until the sucrose is completely
dissolve in the mixture.
4. The mixture is then poured into the measuring cylinder and purified water is added
until the mixture reached 25ml.
5. The mixture is poured into a well closed bottle and being labelled.

Uses
1. Simple syrup can act as sweetening agent

25ml of simple syrup is prepared and submitted
