Movement
Movement is one of the themes of geography, that means how people, product, and ideas move one
place to another, locally and globally. We, as humans travel one place to another in our daily life, whether
its locally or globally. Humans uses trains, cars, planes, Etc., to travel to one place to another. It could also
be local or global. For example, I live in Indonesia, and I am using batik. That is an example of local, because
I am using a product from my own country. An example of global is, Pak Bravo was born in the states, but
now he travelled to Indonesia and he lives here. Moreover, products can also travel to one place to
another, by using similar things with humans, such as trains, cars, planes, Etc. A good example of how
products travel is by import and export. Import and export could be between two countries which is an
example of global or it could be between one area to another, such as offices or houses. Finally, ideas
actually could travel to one place to another, and now because we have the internet, its very simple to
make your ideas to travel to another place. In ideas, local and global could be identical. For example, if
you post something in the internet, the whole world can have access to it, but it also could be just local,
for example, the local newspaper. Not only that, movement can also help economic activity.I discovered
that geographers use movement to discover how the areas of the world spread. For example, how
religions spread across the world.

Interaction: means how humans
use the environment and what
the environment does for us.
How do humans cooperate with
the environment? Humans
depend, adapt, and change the
environment.

The model that I used are

pictures. With picture I could
see what people do in detail to
the environment. I used
pictures while I was doing the
walkabout, and at the end, I
reviewed those pictures, and
tried to see how people
changed the environment, what
do people do with it, and what
does the environment do for us

People depend on the
environment:
People depend on the
environment because humans
cant live without the
environment. Without the
environment we cant have
certain things. For example,
humans cant have houses,
children cant play at the park,
farmers cant plant rice paddies,
and lots of more things that
people cant do without the
environment.

People adapt to the
environment:
In the world, there are loads of
environments. But each of
every single one of them are
different from one another.
For example, in Indonesia, since
its a tropical country. People
adapt to the weather by using
or doing actions that are
suitable for a hot and rainy
country. People in Indonesia,
uses shorts, t shirts, stay
indoors when I ts hot or
raining, sandals, sunglasses,
uses umbrellas, ETC.
People modify the
environment:
Finally, people modify/change
the environment for their own
needs. In my country, since I
live in a city, I rarely see a
forest. Because before it was a
crowded city, the area was filled
with trees. Then people change
the environment for their own
needs. They build houses,
roads, buildings, ETC

Models:
This is one of the models that I used,
and which are screenshots of the
movement of religions in the world. In
this case, I chose the growth of Islam. As
we could see, Islam started with the
birth of Muhammad in the year 570
A.D., then Islam expand or spread to the
North, West, and east. Finally, Islam
spread in Indonesia and parts of Africa.

This is an example of the movement of a product.

This product which is made by Apple, originally
came from the states. Then Apple imported their
products to other countries to get profit out of it.
