regime. The Nifty ended the session to close at 8659.10 i.e. 18.80
points lower.
IDEA, BHEL, Tata Power were the top gainers of the day while

Volkswagen labour leaders said on Wednesday they had not yet

struck a deal with management on cost cuts at the core autos
division, denying an earlier report by Manager Magazin.
Japan's Nikkei share average rose for a fourth day on Wednesday,
taking cues from a bounce in Wall Street shares, while Sharp
Corp jumped 11 percent after saying it expects significant
improvement in annual profit.

Suven Life shares gains on the back of positive news flow that
comapny has been granted one product patent each by Europe
and Israel for a drug used in the treatment of neuro-degenerative
diseases.
Marksans Pharma shares tanks despite company announced that
USFDA has granted approval for an ANDA(Abbreviated New
Drug Application) for Paricalcitol Capsules 1mcg, 2 mcg and 4
mcg.
CEAT Ltd has unveiled a new range of puncture-safe tyres for
motorcycles. The tyres have been developed at its research and
development centre at Halol in Gujarat; stock ends lower by 3
percent.
Tata Motors Ltd slipped 0.78 percent on intraday after the
company increased prices in passenger vehicle segment. Stock
closed on downside losing 4.35 points at Rs 549.90.
Global Markets
European shares bounced back early on Tuesday, with
commodities-related stocks leading the market higher after prices
of major industrial metals and crude oil rose on a softer dollar.
Philippines stocks were higher as gains in the Property, Banking
& Financials and Holding Firms sectors led shares higher.
Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as
losses in the Agriculture, Miscellaneous Industry and Consumer
Industry sectors led shares lower.
Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains
in the Textile, Rubber and Plastic sectors led shares higher.
