The Business Case for

Employing someone
with ASD

Our Aim

Our Operation

To place people with autism into paid employment and to keep

them in work as long as they wish.

We achieve our aim by using structured interviews with

clients and their families to collect background
information; reports and interventions from other
organisations, if available, are also used in this process,
along with psychometric testing. Consultations are offered
with a psychologist and counsellor, if required.

Objective
To provide a one-stop specialist assessment, training and
placement service to meet all the needs of our clients with
autism who are capable of paid work.

About Us
We are a team of professionals, including a psychologist,
counsellor, assessor, trainer and employment consultant. We
have many years experience in helping people with disabilities
back into work.
Our priority is to put our clients at the centre of our efforts.
Our first key role is to thoroughly assess their needs and wants
in relation to employment.

All relevant information is summarised into an action plan.

This forms the key working document used to guide our
clients into work.

What we can do for clients

We can support our clients with psychometric &
occupational profiling, counselling and stress reduction,
travel training and employment coaching. We also offer
them benefit support and advocacy.

What we want from you

We need employers to offer placements to our clients so
they can be assessed in the workplace; then, if they fit in,
to offer them paid employment.

What you can do next

Contact us to arrange a visit to your premises to discuss
how we can work together for the benefit
of both your business and our clients.

People with autism and related conditions have

proved to be efficient and reliable workers.
They thrive in a structured and well-organised environment
and have many strengths that are advantageous to an
employer, such as:
n Accuracy
n A good eye for detail
n Reliability
n Meticulous application to routine tasks
Our clients may initially need extra support, but once they
have settled into your team, they can perform exceptionally.
We can provide this support free of charge, along with any
additional help that may be required.

Retention of employees with ASD

This service provides on-site intervention to assist employers in
keeping a valued employee with ASD who may be experiencing
difficulties at work. An initial assessment will be free of charge
and further support can often be funded by various
government programmes.
