Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE
This act may be cited as the Immigration Working Act of 2016.

SECTION 2. FINDINGS
Congress hereby finds and declares that,
1) Unauthorized immigrants make up 5.1% of the U.S. labor force.
2) The 20 million U.S. - born children of immigrants are significantly better off financially than
parents.
3) Granting citizenship to undocumented immigrants would create jobs and increase tax revenu
4) Citizenship would allow millions of undocumented immigrants to work on the books and con

5) Eliminating birthright citizenship would increase the unauthorized population.
6) Unauthorized immigrants pay billions of dollars in state and local taxes.
7) Immigrants have an outsized role in U.S. economic output because they are disproportionate

SECTION 3. STATUTORY LANGUAGE


A) The immigration Working Act of 2015 shall allow illegal immigrants the right to work as a p

law as this act will benefit and influence our current


economic status through tax revenues. In addition, we
would be providing immigrants the opportunity to help
them start their new lives in a more successful nation.
Lastly our labor force would become much stronger if the
number of working immigrants in America rose. In
conclusion, the Immigration Act of 2016 will help
Americans strive for better opportunities and ideas
throughout our nation.
