This Tesco product reduces or eliminates the personal
safety hazards associated with the racks to rig floor pipe
handling. Transferring of tubular from pipe racks to the rig
floor is now a semi-automated fully mechanized process
that reduces the risk of injuries by removing the worker
from the area.

The system can use existing catwalk and pipe racks.

Pipe loading or unloading occurs from either side without
lost time or re-configuring of equipment.
Fully adjustable for sub heights from 14-38 feet
(4.26m to 11.58m).

Semi-automatic functions via a single sequence continue
control (Optional wireless) to communicate with the PLC
located on the power catwalk.
A hydraulic power unit designed to match the flow rates
and pressures required for operating the power catwalk
efficiently.

Stinger trough extends up to 12 feet (3.65m) over drill

floor.

Full cycle time of 55 to 80 seconds depending on the

application.
Two hydraulic power unit models are available, electric or
engine driven.
Optional hydraulically height adjustable racks that ensure
tubular roll into the machine during pick-up and away
during the lay-down process.

Accurate repeatability is achieved independent of tubular

size or length by combining the functions of the system
with interlocks and PLC sequencing.
Master control station located either at the drillers control
or the hydraulic power unit allows the operator to select
mode of operation. Pick-up, lay-down, drillers side, off
drillers side, a preprogrammed sequence.
