Saudi Greens
Saudi Green will offer competitivereasonable prices that are cheaper than in our
competitor Watania is. The outsourcing of our products from developing regions, where prices
are considerate in addition to guaranteed supply, will enable us remain relevant and competent in
the market. The following is a list of prices that will be offered:

Item

Price in sr.

Romaine lettuce

16 per head

Iceberg lettuce

26.5 per head

Broccoli

21.5 per head

Cauliflower

16 per head

Cabbage

17 per head

SAUDI GREENS

Tomato

19 per kilo

Cucumber

14.5 per kilo

Zucchini

17.5 per kilo

Eggplants

11.5 per kilo

These prices, compared to the current market price, are relatively cheaper. Product
quality will not be compromised either but strive to meet the expectations of customers by
delivering fresh organic products. Watanias prices are elevated compared to ours. For instance, a
consumer will buy a kilo of zucchini at sr. 25 from their stores with a difference of sr. 5 if
purchased at Saudi Green. With such lower prices coupled with improved packaging and quality,
we expect to raise our profit margin exponentially.
In our first launch, we expect to introduce various organic products that match various
customer needs. There are two main categories: leafy products, which include broccoli, lettuce,
and lastly cauliflower. The last category is vine products such as eggplants, cucumber, zucchini,
in addition to tomato. The supply of these products is adequate for a start because both of our
green houses have such capacity. With expansion of greenhouses, we expect to increase the
variety of our products, both leafy and vine too. They include the following: spinach, cabbage,
kale, and lastly snake gourd. We intend to improve our packaging in relation to various target
segments of the market trying to match with various occasions such as Vvalentine and
Halloween.
We intend to adopt promotion approaches to help improve number of customers.
Promotion will be on selected items, which will be tagged to help customers identify them. This
will be actualized by collaborating with distribution store to hang banners of the products on
offer. One of the strategies is discounts on specific days where customers can buy more for less
cost. This will enable us to gauge the response from the customers to ascertain their level of

satisfaction (McDonald, 1995). We also plan to include small gift coupons, such as recipe books,
for customers who purchase large portions of products. Such products will be packaged through
collaborating with retail stores. These approaches are expected to influence customers to buy our
products than our competitors. Currently, the market lacks such element, thus, we anticipate it
will be received well.
Packaging is one of the marketing strategies we will implement. PackagingIt promotes a
product in addition to protecting it. We plan to the iIndicate nutritional value of our products.
This will enable customers who, for instance, have been diagnosed with deficiency of essential
body minerals like iron. This labeling will ensure that the particular is able to make the
appropriate choice. Labeling assures the consumer safety of the product as well compliance with
the authority regulations (McDonald, 1995). It is also a form of education to our
customersconsumers.
Saudi Greens will adopt a mixed approach to marketing channels. We will initiate online
services, where customers can place orders through our website and pay upon delivery.
Sophistication of technology has widened the scope of marketing and more consumers are opting
for online services (Sheehan, 2010). People are embracing the element of online shopping for
convenience (Yang, 2006). We will supply both wholesale and retail stores. Wholesale facilitates
a wide scope of marketing due to the interaction with diverse individuals (Kam, 2015). In
addition, it improves the image and acceptability of product. For a start, we will collaborate with
transportation couriers to deliver in these stores. Over time, we will acquire our own as the
demand rises.
