TKAM Chapter Notes

For each chapter of To Kill a Mockingbird

, you will be keeping track of characters, major


plot points, and your thoughts about the story. These notes will be collected after reading Part 1
and Part 2. You will complete these notes for each chapter, including ones read outside of class.
Each chapter is worth 5 points. You will also answer questions about chapters read at home to
prove you are doing the reading, but these will not be graded.
Directions: Divide your paper down the middle. Clearly label each chapter. On the left, record
characters that are introduced and major plot points. On the right, record your thoughts,
reactions, connections, and questions about the chapter.

Chapter questions will go below your notes for the chapters.
