The Declaration of Independence

As an American society, the idea of people being equal has been a major legacy that has
been still advancing in todays society. Theres a separation group which shows equality with
respect in the United States for the citizens people. In todays society, people still express a
profound commitment to human equality. Its a responsibility for citizens to be inalienable the
rights for the constitution and bill of rights. The quote that shows that people are honoring the
nation right is, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they
are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty,
and pursuit of Happiness. This means that American people are apparent, they were born to be
equal. People were given rights that the government cannot take away, we have the freedom.
Throughout the years, sometimes society changes and when it comes to changes, the nation
can be catastrophe such as in todays election between Trump and Hilary, terrorist attacks, but
things dont change for citizens to be responsible.
In this 2016 election, the two candidates to be elected upon this year are Trump and Hilary.
They both have different views on the nation and the extreme refusing of opinions they both
have. As they speak for what they want to change in todays society, people are focusing on
who has a better view to be the next president. Overall, most people disagree with Trump
because hell take a hard line against undocumented immigrants. He wants Mexico to build a
wall and pay along with the border so immigrants wont be able to across the United States.
Some people find this ridiculous because these immigrants come for a reason, so they can have
the opportunity to have a life. That is the reason most people see a better view on Clinton,
because shell give undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship because she knows that
they have an American dream. They will take the advantage to have a better life and theyre not
indolent people. The only problem people have with Hilary is that there are controversies on her
private emails which nobody can say anything about her because they have no proof and shes
defending on her own. So people might not know what shes hiding because people dont know
if they can trust Hillary as a president. This shows how its not honor to American rights but it
can also show how its honor because people are mostly voting for Hillary since Trump is being
racist and thats not right for people. The constitution doesnt have to do anything by being racist
and putting back undocumented immigrants back to their country as Hillary, shes showing a bit
more positive view and showing a right to women that a woman can be a president, not just
men.
America can be a difficult nation, some people dont know whats possible when it comes to
terrorist attacks or mass shootings. Its peoples responsibility to take care of themselves
because anyone has the freedom to start horrific tragedy, anyone that is allowed to come to
United States can get an event or people by getting killed. In 2012, there was a school shooting,
20 students and 6 staff members were killed that day by a man named Adam Lanza. Before the
shooting happened at Sandy Hook Elementary, he killed his mother then he decided to kill those
people at the school. There is no specific reason for him to kill those children and adults, he only

did it to take its own life and he was obsessed with being a mass murderer. It is a sad thing that
people were killed for no reason but he made that decision because he knows that the United
States is free and includes the second amendment, that anyone is allowed to have a gun to
protect themselves, but some people own them for killing others and sometimes it can be a
possible reason that they want to be equal. The United states will be always be an unsafe place
because no one knows what can happen, it can be unexpected and that is why people are
scared and they dont have happiness because they have to be so careful in this country.
Americans know that anyone can have a gun with them or plan a terror attack anywhere
because people have the freedom to do that, thats why this country can be a frightening one.
The responsibilities of each individual citizen have an obligation. We have to follow the
constitution and laws of the United States along with the state law and show loyalty by
respecting them. By following these rules, we are protected by our government. Citizens can
come together by participating and being able to change laws and make different decision to
change for the democracy. It's our right to protect our country so that Americans may have
rights, freedom and pursuit of happiness. Also, as an american citizen, we respect beliefs and
opinions from others.Leo you see this That is why we celebrate 4th of July. It keeps us
remembering our countrys independence and who we are as people of the United States. We
are happy because as citizens we are given these choices and opportunities to live a good life.
The nation is based upon the Declaration of Independence, and by living by its rules up to this
day, it shows the loyalty of the people and that it is what keeps this country unique and will
always be this way.
In conclusion, the Declaration of Independence gave the original colonies their laws and
rights, while trying to establish a government separate from Great Britain which gave the white
men to be equal. In todays society, it shows all gender to be equality which thats women and
men. Women have the rights to have the same opportunities as men. In this years election, with
these candidates, people see them with different views which people wants to see who has a
better ideas for the country and for the people. The most affect it can be for the country if Trump
wins, that will mess up the society. That is why most people are going with Hillary because she
has a bit more on a positive outcomes and she is showing the world that women can be
presidents too. In Americas nation, it will be an unsafe place because of terrorist attacks, and
mass shootings. If that all stops, the United States will be a safer place for our Americans, it
wouldnt be an unexpected thing that people will die, even though people have the right to do
anything.
