Drops Muskat 100% cotton yarns: 3 balls of Ice Blue (60), 3 balls of Turquoise (32), 3 balls of Yellow
(30) & 7 balls of White (18)
Size G-6 (4mm) hook
Yarn needle
Yardage: Approximately 1650 yards
Finished Size: Approximately 34x34

You need to make 64 motifs of the granny squares
21 motifs in Ice Blue
21 motifs in Turquoise
22 motifs in Yellow

Ice Blue Motif: Use Yellow in center, White in middle, Ice Blue in outer rounds
Yellow Motif: Use Turquoise in center, White in middle, Yellow in outer rounds
Turquoise Motif: Use Ice Blue in center, White in middle, Turquoise in outer rounds
3-dc Cluster Pattern: (yo, insert hook into the ch-1-space, pull through a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on
hook) rep 3 times, yo and pull through remaining loops on hook, ch 1

Ice Blue Motif:

R 1: Make a magic ring in Yellow yarn, ch 3 (count as a dc), ch 1, (dc, ch 1) rep 11 times. Join with a sl st to the
3rd st of the initial chain 3 and fasten off.
Join with White yarn
R 2: starting at any ch-1-space of the previous round. Ch 3, (yo, insert hook into the same ch-1-space, pull
through a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook) rep 2 times, yo and pull through remaining 3 loops on
hook, ch 1; rep the 3-dc Cluster pattern 11 times (see last page for instruction). Join with a sl st to the top of
the 1st cluster and fasten off.
Join with Ice Blue yarn:
R 3: starting at any ch-1-space of the previous round. Ch 3, (yo, insert hook into the same ch-1-space, pull
through a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook) rep 2 times, yo and pull through remaining 3 loops on
hook, ch 2; rep the 3-dc Cluster pattern 11 times but do ch 2 instead of ch 1 after each cluster is made. Join
with a sl st to the top of the 1st cluster. Sl st to the next ch-2-space
R 4: Ch 3 (count as a dc) dc, (ch 2, 2 dc at the ch-2-space, dc at the next cluster, 3 dc at next ch-2-space, dc at
the next cluster, 3 dc at next ch-2-space, dc at the next cluster, 2 dc at next ch-2-space) rep 2 more times; ch 2,
2 dc at the ch-2-space, dc at the next cluster, 3 dc at next ch-2-space, dc at the next cluster, 3 dc at next ch-2space, dc at the next cluster. Join with a sl st to the 3rd st of the initial chain 3 and fasten off.
Join with White yarn
R 5: (sc to the last dc, 2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc at the ch-2-space) rep 3 more times, sc to the end. Join with a sl st to the
first sc and fasten off.
Make other motifs in this pattern according to the colors, quantity and arrangement as indicated above.
Join all motifs together by sewing with white yarns.
Border
R1: sc around in Ice Blue yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R2: dc around in White yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R3: sc around in Yellow yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R4: dc around in White yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R5: sc around in Ice Blue yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R6: dc around in White yarn, ch 1 at each corner
R7: sc around in Turquoise yarn, ch 1 at each corner
