Purpose:RescueHaitianorphansabandonedonthestreets,makeshifthospitalsorfrom
collapsedorphanagesinPortauPrinceandsurroundingareas,andbringthemtoNewLife
ChildrensRefugeinCabarete,DominicanRepublic.
TheUrgentNeed:ThenumberofHaitianorphansisestimatedtohaveincreasedby300%asa
resultofthecatastrophicearthquakethispastweek.Thousandsofchildrenhavelosttheir
parents,andareinjured,hungry,thirstyandalonewithlimitedchanceofsurvivalwithouthelp.

Provideloveandcareforthechildren

InterimNewLifeChildrenRefugeLocation:NLCRisintheprocessofbuyinglandand
buildinganorphanage,schoolandchurchinMaganteonthenortherncoastofthe
DominicanRepublic.Giventheurgentneedsfromthisearthquake,Godhaslaidupon
ourheartstheneedtogonowvs.waitinguntilthepermanentfacilityisbuilt.Hehas
providedaninterimsolutioninnearbyCabarete,wherewewillbeleasinga45room
hotelandconvertingitintoanorphanageuntilthebuildingoftheNLCRiscomplete.
Thisinterimlocationwillenableustoprovidealovingenvironmentforupto150
children,frominfantsto12yearsold.
TeamNeeded:NLCRisprayingandseekingpeoplewhohaveaheartforGodanda
desiretoshareGodslovewiththesepreciouschildren,helpingthemhealandfindnew
