Madams:
I am writing to your good office to tender my resignation as Staff Nurse
of the 4th floor Medical-Surgical ward. It has been a fruitful It has been a
fruitful journey, but I have to depart to move on to be able to focus on to
other ventures.
This is to complement the 30-day notice that I had submitted earlier
which would have been effective last August 22; however, since it coincided
with Ms. Rubricas resignation which was submitted two weeks after, I
decided to postpone my resignation to give way to her that she may be able
to attend to her pregnancy. Furthermore, as respect to the hospital, I decided
to extend my stay from August 22, 2016 to the end of September
(September 30, 2016) to allow for the necessary adjustments that need to be
done to and to give an opportunity to train our replacements, if there be.
A few days ago I have received an offer for a promotion from both
yourself and Ms. Foncardas and humbled as I am. I would have to politely
decline your offer. I would like to focus my attention on applying for a job
abroad and it is sincere belief that continuing to have my duty would only
serve as a distraction, particularly due to the recent upsurge of admissions in
our unit, paired with our apparent lack in manpower at the ward areas.
My stay in SGHTC had been short but memorable, and I would like to
extend my sincere thanks to the Staff, Admin, my Co-nurses, the support
staff, our Doctors and to the Arenas Family for giving me the opportunity to
improve and better myself.
