The Etios has four great models in its line up. The Hatchback and Sedan both come in Xi and Xs derivatives. Both the

With its almost unbelievable affordability, the Etios saves you on worrying about future running costs since it comes
standard with a 2-year/30 000 km Toyota Service Plan. This means that the scheduled servicing and labour of your
Etios will be taken care of and paid for by Toyota for a period of two years or 30 000 km, whichever comes first. This
allows you to save even more money to use for the things you really need.

The Etios Hatchback only uses 6.0 litres of fuel per 100 km while the Sedan only uses 5.9 litres of fuel per 100 km. To give you
an example of just how far your Etios can take you, you could drive from Joburg to Durban using just one tank of fuel*.
And whats better still is that all the money you save on petrol can be used on other things that make you smile like filling up
on extra groceries on the months shopping or you can even buy special gifts for family or friends. The possibilities are endless.

engine but still amazingly manages to stay within the price range of vehicles with smaller engines.
The Etios 1.5 litre engine means so much more power for your money. This engine was especially designed
for the Etios. Talk about a perfect match! The Etios delivers power of 66 kW @ 5600 r/min and torque of
132 Nm @ 3000 r/min. What all that means is that the Etios has all the vooma you need to get around. The Etios is also
light on fuel which makes it light on your pocket. The Etios comes equipped with an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system.
EFI supplies a continuously accurate air/fuel ratio to the engine no matter what the operating conditions. This provides better
driveability, fuel economy and emissions control. This results in much less fuel being used and there are fewer emissions for cleaner air.

If you take a look at the front of the Etios, you will catch a glimpse of it smiling back at you.
This is no illusion, the shape of the front grille, headlamps and front bumper were specifically designed in this happy way to symbolise all the joy
that this vehicle will bring to you and your passengers. No matter what anyone says, looks count! And looking good in your Etios means feeling good.
All four models have colour-coded front and rear bumpers, to make you look good on the roads.
The Xs models feature a front grille that is colour-coded with a chrome finish, a chrome back door moulding and front fog lamps. The Xi and Xs models
also have colour-coded side mirrors and door handles to match. All these features add to its already sporty look. All models come with 14" steel wheels.

There is plenty of space in the Etios to keep everything in its place. There are driver and front
passenger door pockets that are perfect for storing maps, books, sunglasses and other small
items that you want to keep handy. The Etios will keep your cooldrinks cool on the road with
a glove box that has a built-in cooling function thats big enough to store more than enough
cooldrinks for you and your passengers. And with 7 cup holders, you and your passengers will
always have a place for your refreshments.
With its carrying capacity of 595 litres, the boot space of the Etios Sedan has enough room
for a big shopping spree, luggage, tog bags or whatever else you need to take with you.
To keep everyone cool, all Etios models come standard with an air conditioner fitted in the centre
console. The air vents have been specifically designed to be adjustable so that the airflow can
be directed to where it is needed. This means that cool air can circulate throughout the vehicle.
Etios Xs models also come with electrically-adjustable front and rear windows so fresh air is just
a button click away. Enjoy your favourite tunes on the built-in radio and CD player available on
the XS models only.
Electric power steering with tilt adjustment is also standard on all models making turning as easy
as can be and a steering wheel that can be perfectly adjusted in a way that works for you.

It feels good to know that when we designed the Etios, keeping you safe on the road was one of our main goals. With safety and
security features like the ones mentioned below, you can put your mind at ease and concentrate on the pure enjoyment of your trip!
All Etios models come with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). This safety feature is what stops the vehicles wheels from locking up should you
brake suddenly. This feature is especially useful when braking suddenly on a slippery road. The Etios also has Electronic Brake force Distribution
(EBD) which means that when your foot is on the brake pedal, the brake force is evenly distributed to give you excellent control should you brake
hard. Driver and front passenger airbags come standard on all models. Child protection locks on the back doors keep children safely inside.
The Etios also comes fitted with an immobiliser to help prevent theft.
Etios Xs Hatchback and Sedan models also come with remote control central locking.
