Develop a marketing plan to identify, reach, and retain customers in a
specific target market.
7.2 Conduct market research to determine target market using primary and
secondary data sources to locate information.

We have been learning about Marketing and how to conduct market research. For
our new school-based business, The 306 tshirt and vinyl decal business, we are
going to conduct primary market research to determine what type of t-shirts and
decals our target market (students and faculty) are interested in.
We have created a class survey by compiling the best questions from all individual
surveys that you created. Now you will each have students and faculty complete at
least 10 surveys per person. The schedule is below and will be completed during the
three lunch periods.
After we have collected and compiled all the data, we will create a spreadsheet to
aid in analyzing our findings. This will be a class effort.

Schedule:
Thursday, October 27, 2016: We have three groups that are conducting
surveys during each lunch class. 1st: Ashlyn, Emma, Daniel, Kenneth,
Steven. 2nd: Wolf, Bird, Drew, Gabe, Gillian. 3rd: Austin, Grayson, Carlee,
Caleb, Paige. You will each be responsible for having 10 students fill out a
survey. Bring them back to class and we will compile the data. This may
sound like a lot, but if each of you gathers 10 surveys, and we have
approximately 950 students, that's only about 15.8% of the student body
that will be surveyed.
