EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN

The purpose of planning an emergency response plan are to deal with initial
response and immediate physical effects towards living person or property when
any disaster occur. It contains guidelines and procedures to ensure safety, health
and welfare when there is any disruptive or harmful event that endangered the
organization. The emergency response plan is always parallel with the business
continuity plan. This is important to ensure an efficient recovery of essential
business operation. Example of emergency events are explosion, chemical spill,
fire, loss of power and damage to building due to natural disaster or failure in
production line.
