Draft day

Draft day will be decided by your league commissioner and all parties will be
required to make an appearance via person or video message during the length of
the draft.
All parties who do not attend the draft will be forced to have their team
simulated by unanimous vote of attending parties.
The draft will consist of 16 rounds with one pick by each party during the
round.
Any player may be drafted during each round, however, team rosters must be
submitted with the appropriate positions filled during games of the season.
The draft order will be assigned by commissioners choice on the day of the
draft to reconcile fairness throughout the league.
The draft shall be in a snake order. For example, if four people were in the
draft, the order of picks would go 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1-1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 and so on until
all 15 rounds are complete.
Parties must stay within the confined space limit for each salary cap
(explained in section 1.5)

1.2

Setting up your roster/ Team Management

On your roster, you will have 10 positions to fill with 5 bench positions and
one defense/ST. Only the 10 active players will be able to produce your team
points. You will have:
2 QBs
2 RBs
3 WRs
1 TE
1 Wildcard (TE/WR) (section 1.6)
1K
5 Bench Players
1 Def/ST
Each party is responsible to have all the active positions filled. Any active
position filled with a player that does not play that position or leaves the position
blank will receive no points for that weeks games.

You will be given an excel spreadsheet that has the active roster line up.
Each party is to make sure that they have the correct players on their roster. This
means that their roster should match what is on the websites database page.
Changes made to your roster that do not appear on the website will be considered
falsification and be considered a blank spot(s) for the participating game(s).

1.3 Submitting your Roster

There will (hopefully) will be 2 ways to submit your roster for each weeks
games:
a) You can email an excel (.xlx) file to the commissioner of your active roster
for that week.
b) Go to the MLF website and submit your active roster.
Changes to active roster are allowed from after the last game of the previous
week to before kickoff of the first game of the week (Thursday night football).
No changes will be allowed from after the kickoff of the first game (Thursday
night football) till after the conclusion of the last game (Monday night football).

1.4 Trades/ Pick-up/ Drop

Trades are allowed in the league.
All trades must be approved by the commissioner.
Trades may take up to 48 hours to process. Trades will be examined on a
first-come-first-serve basis.
Trades will be a single player for a single player.
Players can be dropped at any time. Players dropped before the completion
of a weeks games will count as a blank and earn no points for the team.
Players can be acquired at any time throughout the season.
Newly acquired players can not be added to active roster during a weeks
game.
To drop a player, submit a drop player form via email or web to the
commissioner of the league.
To add a free agent/to pick up a player, submit a acquire player form via
email or web to the commissioner of the league.
Traded players can not be added to active rosters during a weeks game.

A partys team can never exceed 15 players. A hold will be placed on your
roster until the issue is resolved with the leagues commissioner. Games that occur
that have players from this roster while on hold will be considered blank and receive
no points earned for the game(s).

1.5 Salary Cap

To promote fair teams throughout the league and introduce the Madden
part of the league, a salary cap will be placed on each player. The players salary
cap is based on performance and Madden rating.
Salary caps may change throughout the season. This will be voted for by all
parties of the league and must earn a 60% vote to be changed. Only available
players salary caps are subject to change.
Salary caps are based on the total salary of the combined players position.
For example, with 2 QBs, the salary cap is 70. This is based on the median of all
QBs available throughout the league.
Here is a list of all the salary caps based on position:
QBs

75

RBs

65

WRs

80

TE + WC

55

20

No sum cap salary of players shall exceed the maximum cap. If a position for a
team does, no player of that position will earn points for that game. Changes to fix
this dilemma during a weeks game is allowed but must get approval from the
leagues commissioner. Failure to notify the commissioner will result in
disqualification for a weeks game and no points shall be earned for that team
during the time of disqualification.
Salary caps can change throughout the season. Limits may be increased or
decreased. However, teams will be notified in advance of these changes. Changes
will only occur for the possibility of new players added throughout the season. This
may or may not happen depending on the outcome. THIS IS A TRIAL, ADAPTATIONS
MAY OCCUR TO PROMOTE MORE EXCITING FOOTBALL.

1.6 Wildcard Position

The wildcard position is an option position. It can be a TE, WR, or RB.
The salary cap for this position is combined with the TE position. The
combination of salary caps of the two positions can not exceed the salary cap (55).
