I like science and math, I like helping people, I am artistic and I pay very close
attention to detail. I mostly value other peoples concerns and safety over my own
so if someone was uncomfortable in a situation I could help them.

1-4 years of University level pre-dental courses, most applicants have a bachelors
degree. Chemistry, biology, physics, math, and English. Applicants to dental school
must pass the Dental Admission Test. About 8-12 years of university education in
dentistry total.

Working conditions:

The majority of dentists work for themselves in private practice. In addition to


taking care of patients, they are also responsible for supervising their staff,

hygienists, dental assistants, secretaries and for all the other duties associated with
running their own businesses. A few dentists work for large institutions such as
hospitals.

Typical hours of work: Most dentists work 7-8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but
those in private practice can generally choose their own hours.

recommended to me by a few of my teachers in the past and when I put my
information into the websites this was one of the first things that came up on all of
them.

Job Description: Illustrators draw the pictures, cartoons, designs, etc. on
cereal boxes, magazines, greeting cards and about everything that comes with an
image on it, so there is lots of opportunities for things to draw for companies.

because so many things have illustrator-made images with them, so the prospects
for illustrators is good.

I love to draw and use computer drawing programs because I have been told
that Im good with fine details and I like to be creative. Im a very friendly and
cooperative person, so working with demanding companies and people wont be as
bad. I take my time doing things because I like them to be professional and very
well done, so if Im paid by the hour then I could make lots of money.

12. What courses and grades are needed to enter this Occupation?
People interested in a career in illustration should take as many visual art
courses as possible, and you should also spend a lot of your free time sketching and
creating illustrations. Very good grades in art classes are needed.

Working conditions:

Illustrators generally work in well-lit, clean studio spaces. Most work freelance,
often working out of home offices, others work full-time in the art departments of
large companies, such as advertising agencies and retail or wholesale companies.

by classmates and teachers in the past that I am great at drawing and I have great
attention to detail.

receive their training through the military or police. Explosive specialists in mining
and construction may require mining/mineral engineering in college or university.

courses, some college/university courses are; Resources Drilling and Blasting
Technology, Police Studies, and Mining / Mineral Engineering. 4 year bachelors

also work in agriculture, forestry, avalanche control, special effects, pyrotechnics,
seismic exploration, and law enforcement.

Describe what has influenced your choice of this occupation: It first appeared
on my Career Cruising, but I realized that they can make a great yearly wage and I
love explosives and doing work that requires attention to detail.
