Hooray ! We had Fun with English in our school! We enjoyed this event on Thursday, 17
Januari 2010, at Yos Sudarso Primary School in Karawang. We had waited for it since
September 2009. So when the day came, we were really happy. We played many games
such as matching colors, matching pictures, horse racing, run and find, and spelling bee. We
had story telling, too. All students from grade 1 to grade 6 joined Fun with English, so there
were 3 slots for the activities. We really had fan and we could practise our English. We also
sang together about parts of our body, and Do-re-mi. Many prizes were given in this event.
There were tickets from Ice World and Gondola of Ancol Bay City, tickets from Water Boom
of Lippo Cikarang, tickets from Insect World and Freshwater World of TMII, T-Shirts, pens,
stickers and many other merchandise.

SQUIRRELS
A squirrels is a common name for many rodents belonging to the same family as the
woodchuck, chipmunk, and prairie dog. The tree and ground squirrels include about 230
species and the so-called flying squirrels include about 43 species. Squirrels rang in size

Laiamon was the daughter of Dayak chief. One day, she went to the river to take a bath. She
was swimming when a crocodile held her leg.
Oh, please dont eat me! cried Laiamon,

Laiamon was a clever girl. She then said, My father is a chief. He is a rich man. He will give

The next day, the chief and his people went to the river. They bought a pig for the crocodile.
Good morning, Crocodile, said the chief.
Do you bring a baby for me ? asked the crocodile
We have no babies in the village, said the chief, we can only give you a pig this time.
Dont lie to me! the crocodile shanted.
Of course not. If there is a baby in the village, we will bring it to you. Now, please take this
pig.
All right, said the crocodile.
The chief threw the pig into the river. The crocodile quickly ate the pig.
Hmm, its very delicious! said the crocodile. Not long after that, this cratures stomach
ached. It moaned and groaned. Then it died.
