GOALS OF SUSTAINABILITY
In 2012, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development met to discuss and develop
a set of goals to work towards; they grew out of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) that
claimed success in reducing global poverty while acknowledging there was still much more to
do.

Better standards of education and healthcare.
Improving health and education
Better sanitation and water quality
To achieve gender equality
Proper utilization of natural resources
To reduce biodiversity loss

PILLARS OF SUSTAINABILITY
1. Social Sustainability: There are many aspects of this pillar. Social Sustainability is
providing awareness and the protection of the health of the people from the pollution and
other activities. The education is very important for the sustainability. The education is
encouraging the people to participate in the environmental sustainability. This pillar
supports the Peace, social justice, reducing poverty and social equity.
2. Economic Sustainability: Economic Sustainability is developing the economy.
Economic Sustainability is reducing the financial burden because using the solar energy.
Solar energy is produced by the sun. The minimum amount is using for the solar panel.
Solar energy is free and does not compromise the environment. ES fair distribution and
proper allocation of our resources.
3. Environmental Sustainability: Environmental Sustainability is very important. We are
using the 3Rs to protect the environment. 3Rs is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycling. We
should use the eco-friendly vehicles. The minimum vehicles is use as well as possible.
Protect ecosystems, air quality and sustainability of our resources is the elements of the
environmental Sustainability. This pillar ensures the renewable energy, reducing fossil
fuel consumption and emissions, organic farming deforestation, tree planting.

Sustainability
Sustainability includes sustainable building, design and operations. Sustainability is the collection of
policies and strategies employed by companies to minimize their environmental impact on future
generations. Ecological concerns, such as the environmental impact of pollutants, are balanced with
socio-economic concerns such as minimizing the consumption of limited natural resources to
maintain their availability for the future.
