Formulating maintenance budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected &
actual results and implementing corrective actions.
Managing activities pertaining to operation & maintenance of a wide range of power plants electrical systems.
Reviewing overall technical issues related to planning, monitoring and engineering issues for major maintenance /
expansion projects;
Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in
O&M expenditures and work within the budget.
Supervising the functions of troubleshooting & predictive/ preventive/ shutdown maintenance for identifying areas of
obstruction/ breakdowns and reducing machinery downtime to minimum.
Directing and coordinating power plant operations within company policies and procedures & Lead the team during
expected load requirements, shutdown and outage activities
Establishing and directing plant policies and procedures
Selection and training plant supervisory and administrative staff ,Fostering a well-trained and motivated staff
&Conducting employee performance reviews
Responsible for the product quality control for the plant.
Managing strategic relationships with various Government and other regulatory bodies. Complying with customer,
legal and regulatory requirements by obtaining and regularly updating the validity of all the required permissions/
licenses from the government/ other regulatory bodies.

Project Planning & Management

Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with collaborators.


Anchoring on-site activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource
utilization to maximize the output.
Participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & debottlenecking.
Liaising with Consultants on determining technical specifications & preparing drawings as per the requirements.

Erection & Commissioning

Looking after the erection & commissioning of power plant equipments including electrical, electronics &
instrumentation systems and machines.
Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in installation
expenditures/ auxiliary power consumption and achieve gross margin targets.
EMPLOYMENT PROFILE

Since Nov09 to Decl 2012 with Operational Energy Group India Ltd. as Plant Manager at the following sites
1. At BMM Ispat, Hospet, Karnataka, for their 70MW power plant consisting of 130TPH CFBC boiler, 3x40TPH WHRB
and 70MW steam turbine since Nov 2011 to Dec 2012 as power plant incharge(GM), heading O&M team of 140
engineers and technicians. Retired from service in Dec 2012
2. At Silkroad Sugar Pvt. Ltd., Kakinada Site, Andhra Pradesh for their captive power plant of 36 MW Frame VI Gas
Turbine and Thermax make 130T/ 10 kg/ cm2 HRSG. Heading the operations and maintenance team of 36
Engineers and Technicians.
May09-Oct09 at BSES Kerala Power Limited (Reliance Infrastructure Ltd.), Cochin, Kerala as Officer on
Special Duty
Working as Head (O&M) at BSES Kerala Power Limited, a subsidiary of RIL, operating a 165MW combined cycle power
plant at Cochin as Officer on Special Duty and after superannuation from the same company.

May01-Apr09 at BSES Kerala Power Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure Ltd., Cochin, Kerala as
General Manager (O&M)
As Head O&M of 165MW Combined Cycle Power Station, BSES Kerala Power Ltd., a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure
Ltd, and retired from service on 30th April 2009 on Superannuation.
