Learning Space for Children


Introduction:
A school is an institution designed for the teaching the students under the direction
of teachers. More countries have system of formal education which is commonly
compulsory.
Every parent and teacher needs to ask the question what are schools for? They
are not, of course, the only institutions with purposes that we should question, but
they are a special case. Like families, they have a unique role in reproducing
human societies and in providing the conditions which enable them to innovate and
change.
Without schools, each generation would have to begin from scratch or like
societies which existed before there were schools remain largely unchanged for
centuries.

Aims & Objectives:


Objectives are intended to develop students abilities that allow them to:

Exercise democratic citizenship


Exercise of moral values
Consolidate personal and social maturity
Strengthen the habit of reading
Strengthen the habit of study and discipline
Express oneself with fluency and accuracy
Use new technologies with competence and responsibilities
Know assess the realities of the contemporary world historical background
and main factors of their evolution
Understand the elements and functional procedures of research and scientific
methods
Enable improvement in quality of learning
Improve efficiency of school administration and governance of schools
Improve service delivery of school education department to the key
stakeholders including students, parents, community, teachers and schools
Access to near real-time and better quality data for decision support

Scope:
This project set out guidance on planning and designing accommodation for new
and existing schools in the region, all of which will have some children and some
people.
The learning environment should serve as a center for the community.
The learning environment should result from a planning/design process that
involves all stakeholders.
The learning environment should allow for flexibility and adaptability to
changing needs.
The learning environment should make effective use of all available
resources.
Behavior, social and emotional development
Some new schools already respond to these needs and, indeed, their originators,
school districts, communities, and designers are among those defining school
design for the future.

Based on the objectives and interactions with the stakeholders three main aspects
have emerged

Learning support services
Governance of school education
