Arm make up (Anti cavitation) function.
Arm cylinder ports are closed by spool.
When machine traveling with full bucket, head
side cylinder chamber will be high pressure, if
the system pressure is more the overload
pressure, the oil will return to tank, then other
side cylinder camber needs oil.
The oil is charged to rod side chamber though
make up valve.
