Application:
The Terex Texoma Bullet Tooth Auger (BTA) is
designed specifically to optimize the drilling
performance of digger derricks in hard, fracturable
material such as limestone, lava, backfill material as
well as cobbles and boulder type drilling conditions.
The Terex BTA augers have a unique cutting pattern
that allows each tooth to cut a small track which
maximizes cutting efficiency and tooth life. Our cut
pattern and tooth attack angle combine to allow the
bullet teeth to act as fingers that penetrate thru and lift
up fractured or broken material

Auger, BTA (Bullet) Spiral (Hex Pilot)

Specifications:
Texoma Spiral Bullet Tooth Auger (BTA) is manufactured
with 1 inch Lower Flighting and 1/2 inch Upper Flighting . It
has a replaceable pilot bit, 65345795TU, with 2-5/8 inch hex
shank. Drills hard materials that conventional augers cannot.
It is available from stock in diameters of 9 inches to 30
inches.
Pilot bit replacement teeth 65349085TU.
Other replacement teeth (on flighting) 65342401TU.
Application:
The Terex Texoma Spiral Bullet Tooth Auger (BTA) is
designed specifically to optimize the drilling performance of
digger derricks in extreme conditions.
This auger has a unique cutting pattern that allows each tooth
to cut a small track to maximize cutting efficiency and tooth
life. The cut pattern and tooth attack angle combine to allow
the bullet teeth to act as fingers that penetrate through and
lift up fractured or broken material.
In many cases, a digger derrick equipped with a spiral BTA
can drill in conditions previously requiring a pressure digger.
This tool works with the digger derrick core barrel with
extendable pilot bit option to increase functionality & increase
productivity. (See core barrel options on next page.)

Core Barrel / Extendable Pilot Bit

Features:
Texoma digger derrick core barrel, extendable pilot & auger combinations are
available in a range of diameters. The auger comes with a bolt-on, hex pilot which,
when removed, allows it to accept the core barrel and extendable pilot bit options while
keeping the auger on the machine, thus saving valuable time in the field.
The extendable pilot used with the barrel allows for an easy start and provides
additional stability in extremely hard rock or out-of-level surfaces.

Application:
Hollow Kelly Bar with spring loaded cam action locking dogs allows it to be used as both an auger extension
shaft and a screw anchor drive. This allows the screw anchor rod to be inserted directly into the Kelly Bar
and eliminates the need for a screw anchor adapter.

Eliminates lifting and handling of heavy screw anchor adapters

Allows quicker screw anchor setup time

Spring loaded cam action dogs allow one-man insertion of anchor rod.
