The modern world is progressively heaping many a physical and mental problem
on the women folk. The present social set up demands that the women folk in the
family should also go for employment for winning bread or to improve the social
status. The cherished Indian heritage of early marriage and child marriage have
become a myth. These systems had guaranteed protection for the ladies and
avoided lusty gazes of the male community. Naturally young ladies have to face
the mental and physical sexual onslaught. Many of the ladies are separated from
their homely surroundings for seeking education, employment, etc. All these
factors require constant positive force to protect the women folk from the evil
looks and misdeeds of the society around them.
Kusa is the positive force that comes to the rescue of the modern women folk
and protects them against the negative force that engulfs them from all
conceivable directions. The beauty of the kusa force that it can be incorporated in
a prayer or pooja activity of the ladies irrespective of the caste, creed or religion
of the women folk. Kusa is the most powerful protection force of the day. Try it,
practice it and surely you will love it.
KUSA PRAYER
The various pooja methods that protect the ladies from the present day maladies
like chronic diseases, menstrual problems, late marriage, infertility, cancer of the
breast, uterus, etc. are dealt with in detail in the publications of our Ashram. Kusa
prayer is a special type of prayer that can be practised independently or it can be
safely incorporated in any kind of prayers to get some special and positive
effects.
1. The first step in Kusa prayer is to ascertain ones kusa number. The kusa
number favourable for a particular lady can be employed in all the pooja activities
to bring out the required positive energy. For eg. ladies are in the habit of drawing
kolam in front of their houses every day. Only rice flour should be used for
drawing kolam. Calcium powder or other chemical preparations should be
avoided at any cost for drawing kolam. The pattern of the kolam should be in
such a way that the total number of dots in the kolam is favourable to the kusa
number applicable to the particular lady. For a lady born on 2nd July, 2 is her
birth number and 4 will be her kusa number. The kolam chosen should have 4,
13, 22 or 31 dots. Kolam drawn in this pattern will shower positive effects in all
the activities undertaken on that day.
Before attending important interviews, matrimonial activities, delivery, surgical
operations, diagnostic tests, etc. kolam can be drawn in the manner aforesaid to
get favourable benefits from them. Kusa kolams can be drawn on a daytoday
basis also. Kusa numbers for the running dates can be calculated and kolam
drawn in accordance with the dots applicable to that date bring positive effects

daily. For e.g. on 3rd day of a month, kolam containing 6, 15, 24 dots can be
drawn to get the kusa effect on that day. Ladies who do not have the practice of
putting dots while drawing kolam or in areas where dots are not used for drawing
kolam, the number of identical elements in the kolam can be taken for calculating
the kusa number for the kolam. For e.g. if there are butterflies (design or pattern
of a butterfly) in the kolam, the number of butterflies should correspond to the
kusa number of the lady drawing the kolam.
The prayer song dedicated by the Siddhas speically for the ladies while drawing
kolam is given in our stotra mala. This is a powerful method of invoking the kusa
energy inherent in the woken folk. They should develop the practice of singing
the prayer song silently or orally while drawing the kolam. In case they find it
difficult to sing the prayer song while drawing the kolam, the song can be sung
standing or sitting in front of the kolam after completion of the drawing of the
kolam.
2. In the pooja room the rasi chakra of the horoscope of the individual ladies
should be drawn with rice flour. In each rasi house four fragrant flowers should be
placed. (Please see the picture for details.) Only flowers with natural and
pleasant odour should be used. Odourless flowers are not used for dedication to
the Almighty. Starting with Mesha rasi, the flowers in all the 12 rasi chakras
should be arranged in the kusa method and dedicated to the Almighty. The two
flowers in the first row will be joined first, the two flowers in the second row will be
joined later. The flowers thus joined in the first row will be first dedicated (put) to
the lotus feet of your Ishta Devata followed by the flowers of the second row.
Next comes the Rishaba rasi. The method aforesaid will be followed and the
steps will be repeated for all the 12 rasi chakras and 48 fragrant flowers will be
dedicated to the Almighty as detailed above. This is a powerful pooja method for
invoking the kusa energy. This practice will remove all the hurdles we face in our
daily life. Obstacles in our thorny path will be blown to pieces with the advent of
the powerful kusa energy.
AUGMENT KUSA WITH KUSA
There is a method of prayer for augmenting the powers of gayathri (a type of
manthra) chanting ten times. The same pooja method can be implemented for
the kusa pooja also for incorporating the powers of kusa. There is a type of grass
called kusa. In Tamil we call it darbai. Ladies should keep ready twenty pieces
of kusa grass for this pooja. The pooja starts with chanting any of the chosen
gayathri manthra. Or ones own name can be chanted. It is called as suya nama
japa i.e. chanting ones own name as manthra. The tip of the right thumb is used
for couting the manthras and the counting starts from the base of the second part
of the ring finger.

The second manthra lies at the base of the third part of the ring finger, the third
manthra at the base of the third part of the little finger, the fourth manthra at the
base of the second part of the little finger, the fifth manthra at the base of the first
part of the little finger, the sixth manthra at the base of the first part of the ring
finger, the seventh manthra at the base of the first part of the middle finger, the
eighth manthra at the base of the first part of the index finger, the nineth manthra
at the base of the second part of the index finger and the tenth manthra at the
base of the third part of the index finger. When you come to the tenth manthra,
you count in your mind as the kusa manthra and not as the tenth manthra. You
take one kusa grass and keep it on your right side.
Repeat the procedure of chanting another ten manthras in the manner aforesaid.
The most important thing to be noted in this chanting procedure is that you
should count the tenth manthra as the kusa manthra and not as the tenth
manthra. The procedure is repeated and one piece of grass is kept on your right
side.
When you complete 100 manthras, you should have placed ten pieces of kusa
grass on your right side. When you place the tenth piece of kusa grass on your
right side, count in your mind or loudly as kusa and not as ten.
After chanting 100 manthras in this manner, the procedure of chanting the
manthras should be repeated by counting with your left hand instead of the right
hand. Similarly after chanting ten manthras, you should keep one piece of grass
on your left side. When you use your left hand for counting the manthras, the
piece of kusa grass should be placed on your left side. After chanting 100
manthras with your left hand in the manner aforesaid, you should have kept ten
pieces of grass on your left side. Please note to call the tenth grass as kusa and
not as ten as already indicated.
After completing 200 counts of gayathri manthra or your own name, you will have
20 pieces of kusa grass, 10 pieces of grass on your left and right sides each. You
should hold 10 pieces of grass with your right little finger with the grass
protruding outside your palm. Your left little finger should hold the other set of 10
pieces of grass in the same manner. With these pieces of grass kept in the
position aforesaid, you should chant only one gayathri. And that is it!! Now your
gayathri will have ten times of power.
You will now get powers of 2000 gayathri. 200 gayathris have earned you powers
of 2000 gayathris. Your powers are multiplied ten times!! And the Kusa powers
are also multiplied ten times!! The procedure detailed above can be continued for
any length of time. You will earn more and more gayathri powers and also the
ever positive kusa powers.
KUSA WITHIN KUSA

One of the basic rules of kusa is that when there are three identical objects in a
row, the central object will have the kusa power. The ladies should place kumkum
(combination of lemon and turmeric powder) in three places in their body - the
centre of the forehead, the thirumangalyam and the top of the forehead. This
ensures longevity and good health for their husbands. Kumkum kept in these
places will grant kusa powers. because of their central location. Of these three
places, the kumkum on the centre of the forehead will have addded kusa effect
because of its central location within three kusa locations. It is the KUSA WITHIN
KUSA.
Ladies are requested to exploit this tremendous kusa power that is available on
their forehead and bring forth longevity and good health to your husband! Please
never use chemical powders, synthetic materials and plastic stickers on your
sacred forehead. It will bring about misfortune to your family and ill health to your
cherished husband.
Threefold protection
There is a traditional habit among men of wearing a black string around the
waist. It is a very good protection against the evil thinking of the people around
you. It also protects you from the negative forces. evil spirits and black magic
disturbances. Ladies should also wear this protective black string around their
waist. They should also wear the Kasi string (the prasada string of Kala
Bhairavar of Kasi) around their left wrist. These strings around their waist and
wrist should have three bands each. The central band will grant the necessary
kusa effect and will always do them good. Protect yourself with these simple
gadgets of the Almighty!!

THE KUSA CURE

There is no human being on earth who is not fond of enjoying good health.
Contrary to this common wish there exists no human being who can boast of
possessing cent per cent robust health. Disease is an inevitable thing in the
modern world. It is a wise thing to face this inevitable experience than trying to
avoid a malady. It is generally believed that diseases are brought about by
germs, polluted environment, wrong habits, etc. Siddhas are of the view that all
diseases are results of our past deeds. Every action produces an equal and
opposite reaction. It follows from this that the present reaction called disease
should have a previous action sown either in this birth or in our previous births. A
clear and complete understanding of this concept is a must to face any disease
and get out of it without much discomfort.
The Kusa Cure is not a new system of medicine. It is a concept dedicated by the
Siddhas of Eternity to help the modern man to get easy cure from whatever
system of medicine he practises. As reiterated by Siddhas the concept of Kusa
will bring about positive results only. For a diseased mind and body, cure is the
only positive result. That is bestowed by the Kusa Cure. Devoted practice of the
following concepts will bring about certain cure for any type of disease.
HEALTHY DIRECTIONS
Directions play an important role in our daily life and especially in the field of
health they prove to be very much helpful. For e.g. when you take food and
medicines facing the direction of east, you will enjoy good health and long life.
For deep mental activities, the direction of north is recommended. To have further
awareness of the effect of the directions, we should understand the relationship
between directions and numbers. Yes, directions too have relationships with
numbers! Study carefully the numbers assigned by the Siddhas for the known
directions in our general use.

APPLICATIONS
The following are some of the areas where the concept of Kusa Cure can be
applied for treating patients suffering from any type of disease.
While diagnosing the patients, the physician should face the direction which has
the Kusa effect on that particular date. We have already furnished the method of
calculating the Kusa number for any number. Following this the Kusa number for
the particular day on which the diagnosis takes place should be calculated. The
Kusa number should correspond to the direction number given above to get
accurate diagnosis as well as to assure positive prognosis for the patient. For
e.g. diagnosis on day one of a month may be carried out by the physician facing
the direction of west. For the date number 1, Kusa number is 2 and the direction
for number 2 is west. Similarly, diagnosis on 2nd day will be done by the
physician facing the direction of South east, for date number 2, Kusa number is 4
and the direction that corresponds to number 4 is south east.
When there are three beds in a clinic, hospital or room, the centre bed will have
the Kusa effect. The patients in critical stage can be admitted in the central bed,
so that cure will be brought about immediately. It is one of the Kusa concepts that
when there are three identical objects in a row, the central object will have the
kusa effect.
The alphabets or letters of all languages are the creation of Goddess Saraswathi.
Each word will carry divine force while written or spoken or used otherwise. In the
system of Kusa Cure we can combine the numerological effect of the name of
medicines with the a) direction b) date of use or prescription c) quantity of the
medicines d) number of days the course of treatment will run.
Calculation of numerological equivalent for medicines : Let us assume that a
patient is suffering from fever and he approaches a doctor who practises
allopathic system of medicine. The medicine prescribed may be paracetamol
tablet among other drugs. The numerological equivalent of the medication has to
be calculated from the traditional values assigned to each alphabet of the
medication. In the said example, the numerological value for paracetamol will be
3, as evident from the following calculation. P A R A C E T A M O L =
8+1+2+1+3+5+4+1+4+7+3 = 39 = 3 The treatment can be combined or carried
out in the following manner to bring about fast recovery.
Paracetamol has 3 as numerological equivalent. The patient may be asked to
take the tablet in the direction ruled by number 3 i.e. north. When paracetamol is
taken by the patient facing the direction of north, his fever will be easily cured.
As already explained, the Kusa number for 3 is 6. Paracetamol tablet can also be
taken by the patient facing the direction ruled by the kusa number 6 i.e. south
west. The tablet taken in this manner will have Kusa effect and the positive result
of cure will be brought about quickly.

3 tablets or its Kusa equivalent of 6 tablets may be prescribed by the Physician to

have the numerological or Kusa effect.
The patient may be advised to keep the tablets in his tablet kept for the purpose
in north direction or the kusa direction of south west for paracetamol.
When tablets are administered by the physician himself, paracetamol tablets can
be placed in the north direction or the Kusa direction of south west for
paracetamol in his clinical table or shelf.
A doubt may crop up now as to which of the various names of the medications
has to be taken into account for calculation of the numerological effect.
Paracetamol is called as acetaminophen in the United States and the general
public call it by the trade name, Tylenol.
Time and space are two important entities of our universe around which all
material things evolve. In all the numerological calculations the concept of space
plays an important role. As such the name that prevails in a particular country,
town or city has to be reckoned for the purposes of calculation.
In the above said example, patients in the United States will take number 9 for
acetaminophen (calculation below) and those in the United Kingdom will take
number 3 for paracetamol for numerological and Kusa calculations.
A C E T A M I N O P H E N = 1+3+5+4+1+4+1+5+7+8+5+5+5 = 54 = 9
The popular trade name, Tylenol is not generally taken into account for the
numerological calculation, since there are so many brand names for a single
medication.
START 4, FINISH 8 CONCEPT
Wherever possible, the course of medical treatment may be commenced on the
dates with the combination of 4 and completed on dates having the combination
of 8. For e.g. the medical treatment may be commenced on 4, 13, 22nd day of a
month and completed on 8, 17, 26th day respectively. Treatments undertaken in
this manner will have the Kusa effect and cure will be easily brought about. This
concept is based on the Siddhas' saying "Naangil thodangi ettil mudippathu
sirappu!". In cases where the treatment is for chronic diseases like tuberculosis,
cancer, arthritis, etc., the course of treatment may be easily planned to run in the
above said manner. Every month three spells of treatment as aforesaid may be
prescribed for the patients suffering from chronic diseases. These spells will take
care of the lean spells also, when no medication is used by the patients. Every
thing is a question of belief. Believe Siddhas, you will be relieved of all diseases.
AUGMENTING FACTORS

There are also other factors which contribute to the speedy recovery of an ailing
patient. Though these factors are not part of the Kusa proper, they are the divine
concepts advocated by the Siddhas of the Eternity for the welfare of the suffering
human beings. When undertaken by the physicians with complete devotion and
belief they will bring about miraculous cures and even the killer diseases like
AIDS, terminal cancers, meningitis, etc. can be easily brought under control.
MAKE YOUR LIFE COLOURFUL !
Colour is one of the wonderful creations of God! Imagine the world without
colours. But how many of us really use and enjoy the bounty showered by the
colours. As apparent in every other field, Siddhas have mastered the power and
use of colours in our daily life and they have devised means of utilising the power
of colors in all walks of our life. Especially in the field of health colours play an
important role. Starting from Sunday to Saturday everyday is ruled by one planet.
Each planet is having a favourable colour. When we use the colour favourable to
a particular planet, the boons granted by that particular planet bring many
advantages to us. By making continuous contact with the favourable color of the
day, we are bound to get sound body and mind. How to make continous contact
with a particular colour throughout the day? Make a guess. ... Your guess is right!
Dress. yes, that is the best way of getting continuous contact with a particular
color. By wearing the favourable color suitable for the particular day, we can
make our life happier and more meaningful. Apart from sound body and mind, the
favourable colours make our endeavours in the field of education, sport,
business, industrial ventures, etc. a real success!
The colours favourable for all the days in a week are listed below.
Day

Favourable color of dress

Sunday
Rose or orange
Monday
Plain white with red checks or stripes
(red flowers on white background for ladies)
Tuesday
Blood red
Wednesday Green
Thursday
Yellow
Friday Sky blue
Saturday
Dark blue or black
Try wearing dresses of the abovelisted colours and you will feel the difference all

around. Apart from enjoying increased confidence, your relationships with your
family members, collegues, employees, friends, etc. will greatly improve. If it is
not possible to wear all the gartments in the favourable colours for a particular
day, at least a portion of your dress may be selected in the favourable colour.
Even a handkerchief or towel or inner garment will bring positive results.
BREATH LONG, LIVE LONG
Clean and long breath means longevity. Your life is determined not in terms of
years, but in terms of number of breaths. Yes, that is true. Man is not born with
the number of years calculated in terms of seconds, minutes and hours as is
generally believed by the modern man. Every child is born with the number of
breathes it will take during its life time. Our Indian sages knew this secret from
time immemorial and they have devised means to extend the man's life span by
increasing the duration of each breath. Simple mathamatics!! That is the secret of
the longest living creatures in our universe viz. tortoises. The life span of
tortoises (esp. turtles) ranges from 1000 years to 10000 years! The secret is that
each tortoise takes four mintues a single breath! The deep breathing technique
developed by our ancient sages is called pranayama. By practising pranayama
regularly, you are bound to increase your life span in a healthy manner.
WAY TO LONGEVITY
Longevity does not mean living for longer years alone. Mere living is vegetating.
That is not the aim of our ancient sages. Living should be meaningful and useful
to the society. Pranayama guarantees meaningful and useful living for a human
being. Practise this simple technique and you yourself can feel the difference in
your style of living.
Select a clean place in your home or working place where there is no much
irriating light and sound pollution. Calm atmosphere will do wonders. Be seated
on a wooden platform, a blanket with many folds or a comfortable wooden chair
so that you can sit upright with comfort. An empty or half filled stomach is
advisable. Close your left nostril and try to inhale slowly, very slowly through your
right nostril till you feel your stomach and chest is full. After the inhalation process
is over, close your right nostril and exhale slowly, very slowly through your left
nostril. When the chest and stomach is fully empty, stop the exhalation process
and slowly inhale through the same nostril i.e. your left nostril. When the
inhalation is complete, close your left nostril and then exhale through your right
nostril. This is counted as one round or cycle of pranayama. Keep on inhaling
and exhaling in the above manner. During this inhalation or exhalation process,
simultaneously chant a manthra or gayathri. These two acts of breathing and
chanting manthra should be done simultaneously non-stop. The manthra chosen
may be the name of any God or deity or your ishta devata. Your father's name,
your mother's name, your guru's name - any name dear to you can be taken as

the manthra. Even your own name can be chanted as manthra. Chanting your
own name is called suya nama japa and the benefits of suya nama japa are dealt
with separately.
Depending on the time and convenience of individuals, the number of rounds of
pranayama can be practised with a minimum of 12 rounds and maximum of 51
rounds. Facing the direction of east in the morning and north or east in the
evening is a healthy practice. Sitting cross-legged in sukhasana or in the difficult
posture of padmasana will bring manifold positive results. One word of caution
here. Never try to retain the breath during the practice of pranayama. Retention
should be done only in the presence of a satguru, who only knows the real and
subtle nature of prana, the primordial energy of the universe. At the same time
never discontinue the chanting of the mantra. Without mantra chanting,
pranayama becomes only a physical exercise. Pranayama is a spiritual pooja
and never degrade it to a mere physical exercise by omitting the God's name.
Gents should commence pranayama by inhaling through the right nostril first.
Ladies may start the practice from their left nostrils.
COMING IS DIFFERENT FROM GOING !
Students of the ancient English literature will appreciate the subtle difference
between these two words - coming and going! The interesting episode does not
end there. There is much difference between the air that we inhale and the air
that we exhale. Siddhas have written volumes of literature on these two air
currents alone. Suffice it here to learn about the temple dedicated by a
benevolent sage called Suthodhaga Maharishi for the breath that we take in
during the breathing process. There is an ancient Siva Temple at the holy town
called Vanthavasi, Tamilnadu, South India. Suthodhaga Maharishi has performed
tapas for millions of years at this temple taking the form of a lizard and revealed
the secrets of the breath that we inhale. Meditating on the name of Shri
Suthodaga Maharishi before commencing pranayama will bestow long life and
sound health, as the very name of the Maharishi alone is a powerful tool for
purification of the breath that goes into your body. In Tamil Vanthavasi means
breath that has come in! (Vantha = that which has come in, Vasi = breath).

KUSA UMBRELLA FOR BUSINESS
The application of kusa can be extended to any field or activity and business is
no exception to it. All the features of kusa hold good for undertaking any business
activity. However, there are certain applications which bear direct relationship
with the business entrepreneurs. Apart from the cultural and hereditary
inclination, the fourth house in a person's horoscope reveals the positive or other
features for becoming a successful business man. Based on this, the Siddhas'
concept of kusa is analysed.
INSIDE SQUARE AVUDAI
It is one of the concepts of kusa that the centre is the direction for the
manifestation of the kusa energy. It follows from this that the temples with the
square avudai linga murthi are suitable for the worship of business men. These
temples are completely charged with the kusa energy for millions of years and
worshipping at these temples is a sure method of receiving the kusa energy
required for a successful business adventure.
Out of so many methods of harnessing the kusa energy at these temples with
square avudai linga murthi, the simple method is to light lamps with pure cow
ghee at the four corners of the temple prakara facing the linga murthi. Now you
are aware that eight is the kusa number for four. To get additional boons of the
kusa, another four lamps can also be lit in the other four directions or two lamps
at each of the four directions can also be placed so that eight ghee lamps bring
you the kusa effect for business. Where there are two or more prakaras, eight
gheet lamps in each prakara can also be lit to get manifold effects of kusa.
There are certain temples in our ancient India where the surrounding place of the
main deity which is called the prakara manifest certain special effects of kusa.
One such temple is Sri Swarnavareeswarar Siva temple, Melanettur, near
Manamadurai, Tamil Nadu. Here the prakara manifests the kusa energy from
time immemorial and the kusa energy manifest at this holy temple can be felt
from millions and millions of stellar miles away in our universe. All business men
who want to flourish in business should make it a point to worship with cow ghee
lamps in this temple at least once a year especially when the moon is in the

sthira rasis. For details of this great kusa temple, please refer our Ashram
publication Sri Agasthia Vijayam (Apil 2007 and subsequent issues).
Eight is the kusa number for four. Temples which manifest divinity in eight forms
can also be worshipped for successful business endeavours. For e.g. Engan,
Ettukudi temples manifest the kusa energy specially suited for the business
adventures. Another interesting concept is the multiplication of the energy
available at the four directions by the benevolent tapas of the rishis in the holy
places like Iyer Malai, Tiruchirappali and Thiru Annamalai. For e.g. when you light
sixteen lamps cow ghee lamps in all directions in the east entrance of the
teppakulam in Iyer Malai, (near Kulithalai, Tamil Nadu), the energy is multiplied
millions of times because of the tapas of the rishis residing at Iyer Malai and the
most positive energy devised by the Siddhas is released highly enriched and
purified. Worship at Iyer Malai and experience the thrill of kusa energy! For more
details refer our Ashram publication, Iyer Malai Mahimai.
SYMBOLS DO SPEAK
There is a holy symbol called swastik which is worshipped for economic
prosperity. There are two kinds of swastik based on the energy manifestation.
The swastik which manifests the slow but positive energy is worshipped for
harnessing the kusa energy for business development.
How does the swastik symbol help you in developing a prosperous business
activity?
The swastik symbol represents the four cardinal directions suitable for a business
enterprise. The energy collected at the four arm-ends is concentrated on the
kusa direction of centre.
The clockwise inclination of the swastik arms represents one of the basic
concepts of kusa.
The eight arms comprising the symbol automatically represent the kusa number
four.
There are special energy centres for this swastik symbol like Thiruvellarai, near
Tiruchirappalli and Sirumayangudi, near Lalgudi, Tiruchirappalli. Worshipping Sri
Ganesa Murthis at these kusa energy centres and distribution of almond cakes
and sweets to poor children and devotees will bring positive results quickly.
Almond (badam) is called the kusa fruit. Sweets and drinks made out of almond
bring you the kusa energy when distributed to the poor and needy devotees at
these energy centres.
THE ALMIGHTY HIMSELF EXHIBITING KUSA !

It is a great wonder that many of the concepts of kusa are congregated at the
great Siva temple at Thiruvanaikovil, Tiruchirappalli. This should be the mostsought-after kusa centre for prospective and existing business men. There are
millions of wonders surrounding the suyambu linga murthi, Sri Jambukeswar and
Sri Akilandeswari including the tadanga dedicated by Sri Adisankara, the rare
tapas of the elephant and the spider, the celebrated jambu tree, etc. But our
discussions here revolve around the two prakaras that exhibit the kusa energy.
The outer prakara of Sri Jambukeswara Swamy at Thiruvanaikovil temple has
eight holy flag staff (kodi maram or dhwaja sthambam). Worshipping these
dhwaja sthambam will grant you great boons of kusa.
The outermost prakara which is called Vibhuthi prakara or Thiruneetru prakara
was constructed by Lord Siva Himself. The labourers who participated in the
construction of this great prakara were given salary for the day in the form of
vibhuti by Lord Siva and thus the prakara acquired the name Vibhuthi Prakara.
Just witnessing this great prakara is a great boon for any business man. The
dimensions of this prakara exhibit the relationship with the Siddhas' concept of
kusa. The length of the vibhuthi prakara is 8000 feet. The height of the walls is 32
feet (4 times 8). How thoughtful of those ancient rishis who dedicated this golden
prakara for the kusa energy!
The dhwaja sthamba prakaras and the vibhuti prakaras are called as the kusa
prakaras. Circumambulating these prakaras on the chathurthi days (both shukla
and krishna paksham) and lighting pure cow ghee lamps at minimum 32 places
in these prakaras and distributing almond cakes to the poor children and
devotees will grant you abundant kusa energy required for any business
endeavour. Rush to Thiruvanaikovil and make hay while the Kusa shines!!
HARNESS KUSA IN THE LAPS OF GREAT FAKIRS !
The jeeva samadhi, athishtanam and brindavans of the rishis, siddhas, fakirs,
etc. are other sources of kusa energy. There is one method of namaskara called
ashta namaskara to harness the kusa energy manifest at these holy places.
These holy places of pilgrimage are spread throughout the length and breadth of
the sacred land of India. Dedicate your worship at any of these holdy shrines and
reap the kusa energy.
Here are some of the holy athishtanams for your ready reference.

The method of performing the ashta namaskaram at these holy power centres is
very simple. The namaskarams are performed in two phases. First, perform four
namaskaram at the four sides of the athishtanam starting from the entrance side
of the shrine. The second phase of four namaskaram starts (clockwise) from the
first corner left to the entrance and ends with the corner at the right side of the
entrance. The four namaskars at the sides added with the four namaskars at the
corners are the ashta namaskars to be performed at any holy athishtanam,
jeevalaya or brindavan to reap the benefits of kusa energy. Please note the ashta
namaskara is different from the ashtanga namaskara. Ashta namaskara consists
of eight namaskaras performed at eight directions of an athistanam. Ashtanga
namaskaram is a single namaskaram performed anywhere with the eight parts of
our body touching the floor. Ashta namaskara perfomed in the above manner
coupled with chappathi and curd rice distribution to the poor devotees will ensure
sound business development.

NEITHER LOSS NOR GAIN IS THERE IN THE DIVINE BUSINESS !

ZERO IS A STRAIGHT LINE !

Bliss Eternal
What is knowledge? Or what does the term "knowledge" exactly mean? A man
holds that the information he receives through his five senses alone constitutes
knowledge. The process of acquiring knowledge through human perception
depends on three basic elements. They are the source or origin, the medium or
channel and the target or destination of knowledge. The veracity and
comprehensiveness of knowledge thus acquired is based upon the quality of the
constituent elements. The inherent defects in the constituent elements of
knowledge defy acquisition of complete knowledge of any object in this world.
Why is it imperative that knowledge should be complete and comprehensive? Is
it not enough if one is satisfied with whatever little knowledge he possesses?
Knowledge is power. Comprehensive knowledge gives absolute power over
everything.
Three things make people happy. They are health, wealth and knowledge. Health
and wealth have physical limitations. There is virtually no limitation on the
quantum of knowledge that one may acquire. The more knowledgeable one
becomes, the more happiness he is bound to derive out of his intellectual
treasure. Gain unbounded knowledge and you are bound to reap unbounded
happiness.
The big question here is how anyone can acquire absolute knowledge of
anything? We know that every thing in our universe is in the process of evolution
with the result knowledge on any subject is ever increasing and the learning pace
of a human being can never cope up with the increasing knowledge-base of an
object.
Our ancient sages knew it is futile to win this never ending race of gaining
transient knowledge by running after the objects. They have devised ingenious
ways to gain absolute knowledge by taking shelter in the ultimate and absolute
source of all knowledge. That haven is the lotus feet of the Supreme Being, the
Knowledge of all Knowledge. Treading on the paths shown by our ancient sages
we are sure to experience eternal bliss bestowed by absolute and real

knowledge.
Among the sages, there is a rare clan known as "Siddhas". A siddha is one who
always resides in God and in whom God resides for ever. Siddhas are highly
evolved souls. It is blasphemous to call the siddhas as evolved "souls" even, as
they have no separate entity secondary to the Almighty and they remain
completely merged in the Supreme Being. At the instance of the Almighty they
occasionally take births as human beings, devas, small creatures, reptiles and so
many other forms and carry out their ordained duties in the exact manner
ordered by the Supreme Being.
The siddhas receive all the secrets of the universe - creation, manifestation,
ultimate merger with the Almighty - from the Supreme Being Himself. Their
knowledge can alone be claimed as correct, genuine and ultimate on any
subject. The information thus received is stored and preserved by them in the
form of "nadi". Nadi may be conceived as the store-house of information in the
akasa - the finest of the five elements.
Similar to the ancestral dynasty of the human beings which flows as a blood
relationship from father through son, the dynasty of the siddhas is survived
through the master-to-disciple relationship. The dynasty of siddhas known as
"Pothiya Muni Sage Dynasty" is headed by Sage Agasthiar, who is also
devotedly called as Pothia Muni, by virtue of his holy abode at Pothia Malai in
South India. Hailing directly in the Pothia Muni Sage Dynasty is Shri R.V.
Venkataraman, Founder of Sri-la-Sri Lobhamatha Agasthiar Ashram, Thiru
Annamalai.
This spiritual window carries the divine message of Shri R.V. Venkataraman. It
guarantees any sincere seeker of spirituality all health, wealth and eternal bliss
one can dream of achieving in this human birth.
We invite all the parched brains craving for knowledge to have a welcome
shower in the sacred words of Shri R.V. Venkataraman, who is the treasure of
absolute and real knowledge.
We invite all the worried minds tormented by the innumerable miseries heaped
on them by the society to relax in the laps of Shri R.V. Venkataraman, who is the
Mother Superior waiting with extended hands to embrace the bereaved children.
We invite all the miserable souls who have faced only defeats and failures in their
life, to enjoy the joy of success and fulfillment by the spiritual guidance assured
by Shri R.V. Venkataraman through his simple and plain siddhopanishad
teaching.

There are numbers beyond 9 ...

Never a day passes without numbers. We cannot imagine a world without

numbers. But quite a few know the value of numbers and the correct way of
using numbers. As we said earlier only Siddhas know the value of each number
in the numeric system and the correct way of using them. Siddhas claim that it
takes a minimum period of twenty years for a human being to master the ways of
harnessing the values of each number. As such, mastery of the numbers remains
beyond the span of human life. One need not become disheartened by the
inability to become a master of the numbers. To star with one can become a
master of one's favourite number. Then he can go on mastering the other
numbers. Generally, what can be one's favourite number. Naturally one's date of
birth, date of birth of one's spouse, dates of birth of the children. Some may take
the date of birth of their beloved friends, lover, etc. Others may like the date of
birth of his revered Guru, father, mother, etc. Patriots may take the date of
independence of their country, State, etc. The formation of numbers is made in
such a way that the total adds up to a single number. For example number 29 will
be construed as 2. 2+9 adds up to 11. Again 1+1 is equal to 2.
Having selected the number liked by one's heart, what is the method of
harnessing its full value?
1. Let us say, for example, you have chosen number 3 as your beloved
number.
It may be 12 or 21, as the combination is also 3, since 1+2 is equal to 3
and 2+1 is equal to 3. All your daily activities should be centered around
3.
2. All your worships should reflect 3 or its multiples. You can worship
Lord Ganesa with 3, 12, 30 or 300 toppu karanams. You can go around
the
Holy Hill of Arunachala or your favorite temple 3 times or 12 times or 30
times. You can garland your Beloved Deity with three garlands or you
can
make a garland with 300 or 1200 flowers in it.
3. You can feed the beggars or devotees in the temples with bread, idli,
chappathis 3 for each beggar or devote. Or the amount spent for such poor feeding
may be
in the multiples of Rs. 3, say Rs. 120, 300, 1200.
4. You worship your favourite Deity with the 300 names or thrisathi. Each
Hindu
God has got ashtothara sadha namavali, thrisadhi namavali and sahasra
namavali.
These namavalis praise the Gods and explain their divine attributes.
Chanting of the thrisathi namavali is beneficial to those who have

selected
3 as their number of choice.
5. Number 3 has Lord Dakshinamurthi as the ruling Deity. Worship Lord
Dakshinamurthi
on Thursdays, on the 3rd, 12th, 21st of each month.
6. The nine sacred planetary Gods, which we call Navagrahas adorn
almost all
temples. Worshipping the Planetary God Brahaspathi by going round
for 3,
12 or 21 times daily is also a sure way to harness the full value of 3.
7. There are natural gems and stones favourable to number 3. Kanaga
pushparaga
is a natural stone favourable to 3. Wearing a golden ring studded with
pure
kanaga pushparaga stone will give the full value of number 3.
8. Gold also bestows the positive values of 3. Kanaga dhanam or giving
gold to
poor people for their marriage in the form of golden mangalyam is a very
good
way of acquiring the beneficial values of 3.
9. You should always ensure that whatever be your activity, number 3
should find
a place in your routine daily transactions. For example, you have to give
Rs. 500 in a transaction. You give Rs. 300 first. It can be supplemented
by
Rs. 200 then. You are taking 6 shirts with you for stay elsewhere. You
first
take 3 shirts in your suitcase. Follow it up with another set of 3 shirts
next.
If the above practices are strictly and devotedly followed by any person for a
period of 20 years, he can become a master of number 3. Similarly there are
specific practices for other numbers.
It is now evident that no human being can become a master of all the nine
numbers in a single life. Never mind, you become a master of your favourite
number first. That itself will give you a great insight into a human life and the very
purpose of your existence in this world. Peace and happiness will settle in and
around you. You will become a roaming Devata showering love and affection to
each and every thing that your eyes gaze upon.
When you become a master of all the nine numbers what will happen? Then only

and then only you will become aware of the numbers beyond 9. Only those who
have mastered all the 9 numbers and the mysterious number 0, qualify to know
the numbers beyond the known numeric system which begins with 1 and ends
with 9.
Kusam, the benevolent number beyond 9
Have you ever wondered what is the purpose of the things which we find in the
universe all around us? No doubt, every thing which we witness around us is the
creation of the Almighty. Everything in the universe is the creation of God. They
are in the form of God. They represent God. THEY ARE GOD. T H E Y A R E G
O D. T H E Y A R E G O D. All the religions in the world, all great philosophers, all
holy men, all sacred sages are reiterating this simple fact all along. At the same
time this simple fact eludes every one, every human being in our present day
society with the result we see war and enmity around us.
To save the present day humanity from the clutches of racial difference,
economical inequity, communal narrow-mindedness and religious bigotry, our
Siddhas have propounded the concept of Kusa, the benevolent and the
beneficial number beyond 9.
The origin of Kusam
Kusam is a number. It is pronounced as Ku (as in kural) and Saa. This number
was kept as a divine secret all these years. The age of this divine number may
be traced to the time of creation of our universe. Out of great benevolence and
grace of the Supreme Lord Arunachala, the Navanatha Siddhas have revealed
the secrets of this benevolent number kusam to the Supreme Sage Agasthya,
who is the Chief of Thiru Kayilaya Pothia Muni Dynasty. Through Sage Agasthya
the secret was delivered to Sri-la-Sri Idiyapaa Esa Siddha Swamigal who has
condescended to deliver the secrets out of great tapas to His chose disciple, Shri
R.V. Venkataraman Swamigal who is the Founder of Sri-la-Sri Lobhamatha
Agasthiar Ashram, Thiru Annmalai.
Sri Renganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam
There is a type of grass called kusam in Sanskrit. In Tamil we call it darpai pull. It
has got very good divine properties. This divine grass was brought by the ancient
rishis from Deva Lokha for the benefit of the mankind. It acts as a divine
messenger between the human beings and their forefathers who live in other
worlds. We can deliver the foods and drinks required by our forefathers through
this divine courier service through two important ingredients, i.e. sesame and
water droplets. The similarity between the grass kusam and the number kusam is
that both of them were brought by the rishis, the purpose of their introduction into
this world is for alleviating the miseries of the human beings and to uplift the
downtrodden mass who live in eternal unhappiness and poverty. The grass
kusam and the number kusam will multiply four times for bestowing benevolent

benefit to the mankind. However, these divine instruments require the guidance
of a Sat Guru, i.e. spiritual master and the unstinted obedience and total
surrender by the disciple to the spiritual master. The method of multiplication of
the kusam number will be dealt with in detail in the following pages.
Numeric value of Kusam
The numeric value of the number kusam lies some where between 9 and 10 in
our present day numeric system. Its value is above 9 but below 10. As you may
construe, it is not 9.5 exactly. This kusam value gets repeated after all the 9s i.e.
after 9, 19, 29, 39,.... 109, 119, ... etc. The next kusam after 9, will lie between 19
and 20. However, at present Siddhas have revealed the secrets of the kusam
after 9 only.
Nature of Kusam
The number kusam which lies after 9 is a whole number. It is not at all a fraction.
Is Kusa odd or even number? The answer to this question is very subtle. It needs
spiritual approach to this subject rather than mathematical evaluation. We will
explain why. The effect of kusam number is even whereas the kusam number
itself may be odd or even. Alternatively, the qualitative value is even whereas the
quantitative value may be odd or even. The application of kusa concept results in
even effect. The effect that gives the effect may be an odd or even kusa number.
These words may seem to be very much intriguing at the first glance. As you
proceed further with the application of the kusa concept, the real value of the
effect and the quantitative nature of the kusam number will become evident. To
understand KUSA fully one must understand the Supreme Being Itself. Kusa
cannot be categorically classified as odd or even, in the manner you cannot
classify a knife as good or bad. Depending on the purpose for which it is used,
whether for cutting an apple or for cutting a person's throat, the knife becomes a
positive or negative object. One certain thing about kusa is that it can never be
used for a negative purpose or for evil effect. Its application always brings
benevolent and positive effect to the mankind. That is the very purpose of its
being brought by the Siddhas to this world.
KUSA - the ever positive concept
As narrated earlier, the concept of kusa, though difficult to understand can be put
to many positive uses in our daily lives. The profound positive application derived
from the concept of Kusa is useful to the entire mankind. The modern man finds
it difficult to win his daily bread, to own a decent home for his dwelling and to
foster his children with healthy amenities. The cost of living is steadily increasing
day by day and the normal living itself appears to be a nightmare except for a few
who are blessed with huge wealth. The only solution for all the present day
material deficiencies is the concept of KUSA dedicated by the Siddhas. One
human life is not sufficient to have an iota of a glimpse into the application of the
concept of KUSA. Only certain human areas which have immediate interest to
our present world are presented here. Please go through these concepts step by
step and enrich your life materially, financially and spiritually.

How to apply the concept of Kusa?

The application of the concept of Kusa is very simple. In Tamil language, the
application of the concept may be described as, "naangaai virindhu irandil
adanguvathu kusam". The English translation is, "expansion to four parts and
settlement in two parts". The concept is illustrated through the following images
of Rupee notes which we use in our daily life. Please note the four steps in the
implementation of the kusa concept.
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Example 1 :
Suppose you have four 500-Rupee notes with you. You can apply the
concept of
Kusa as follows :
Step 1. Take two notes and spread them in a row.
Step 2. Take the remaining two notes and spend them in the second row.
Step 3. Add the two notes in the second row.
Step 4. Add the two notes in the first row.
Start spending the two notes (Rupees 1000) in the first row.
After you have spent Rs. 1000 in the first row, you can spend
the balance of Rs. 1000 in the second row.
Example 2 :
Suppose you have 400 one-hundred Rupee notes aggregating to Rs.
40,000 with you.
You can apply the concept of Kusa to each set of four one-hundred Rupee
notes

as detailed in Example 1.
Another method of application of the concept as stated below is also
possible.
Step 1. Arrange the one-hundred Rupee notes into four bunches of one
hundred pieces in each bunch.
Step 2. Spread the four bunches in two rows and two columns.
Step 3. Combine the 200 notes in the first row into one bunch.
Step 4. Combine the 200 notes in the second row into one bunch.
Step 5. Start using the 200 notes (Rs. 20,000) in the first row.
Step 6. After you have exhausted the first row, the notes in the
second row can be utilized.
Example 3 :
Suppose you have 30 kilograms of rice or wheat with you. You can apply
the
concept of Kusa as follows :
Step 1. Spread evenly the entire 30 kilograms of the grain on the floor
or a mat.
Step 2. Make four equal divisions of the grain in two rows and two
columns.
Step 3. Merge the two divisions of the grains in the first row.
Step 4. Merge the two divisions of the grains in the second row.
Step 5. Arrange to store separately the grains in the first row and
those in the second row.
Step 6. Start using the grains in the first row and after you exhaust them
you can use the grains in the second row.
From the foregoing examples, it will be now clear that the application of
the concept of Kusa involves the following two steps in essence.

Step 1. Expansion to four parts.

Step 2. Containing the expanded material in two parts.
The inconceivable benefits of Kusa
The benefits you derive from the application of the concept of Kusa is
unbelievable and beyond all your imagination. They bestow the following boons.
1. The application of the concept of Kusa is beyond all religion, caste
creed and sex. You need no special mantra or hymns for its application.
2. Anybody can apply the concept of Kusa. It needs no special
previous study of arithmetic or special training.
3. Kusa is a scientific concept. Under the given situation and
circumstances,
every one who applies the concept is bound to get the same result.
4. There is a general saving of around ten percent of your resources.
For example, with the quantity of food sufficient to feed ten people
you can feed eleven people, if you apply the concept of Kusa to the
food items before serving. How wonderful ?!
5. The application of the concept of Kusa always brings positive
results. Kusa is always positive, beneficial and benevolent.
The concept can never be misused to produce evil effects.
The materials used in the course of application may be worldly things,
say for e.g. apples, dollar notes, shirts, cars, etc. The final product is
always positive and divine.
Some practical applications of Kusa
The concept of Kusa can be put to use in many of our daily activities to get
monetary benefit as well as divine patronage. Once you understand the basic
steps it is easy to use the concept in all our walks of life. The specialty of the
concept is that it needs no extra expenditure! We have received number of letters
from the devotees who have applied the concept of Kusa in various fields and the
benefits which they derived from that. Some of the experiences are detailed
below to give you an idea of its practical application in your routine life.
Experience 1.
One of our devotees is performing annadhanam (poor feeding) on
pournami days every
month.
The annadhana prasadam (food) is served on "mandhara"
leaves.
Mandhara leaf has very good medicinal value. The medicinal value is not

spoiled
by the hot food served on it. The leaves can also be stored and preserved
for
long periods. The leaves are sold in bunches, each bunch containing 50
leaves.
The devotee wanted to experience the effect of Kusa on the mandhara
leaves.
He made ready two sets of mandhara leaves each set containing 500
leaves.
That is his normal requirement for pournami annadhanam every month.
On one set he applied the concept of Kusa. The leaves were tied up in
bunches each containing 50 no. Every time 200 no. mandhara leaves
were
spread in two rows and two columns and the resulting 100 leaves from the
first row were used in the first instance, followed by the second row leaves
of
`
100 no. The process was repeated till all the 500 leaves were exhausted.
All the leaves used in the above annadhanam had the Kusa effect. The
positive
effect became evident immediately on their use. In one particular instance,
two leaves were given to two friends who had come for receiving the
annadhana
prasadam. One of the friends suggested that they did not require two
leaves.
One leaf was sufficient for both of them and returned the other leaf. They
received
two units of prasadam on one leaf and shared the food between them!
The positive effect and benevolent gift of the Kusa concept is thus evident
from the above experience. The said experience resulted in saving of one
leaf
for one bunch of 50 leaves. In the end when the annadhanam for 500
persons
was completed, the devotee had spent only 450 leaves against an
estimated
quantity of 500 leaves, leaving a surplus of 50 leaves!
The experiment was repeated for the leaves that did not receive any Kusa
effect.
Annadhanam was conducted in the normal manner with the non-Kusa
leaves.
In one particular instance, the leaf given was torn and the devotee had to
give
additional leaf for serving annadhana prasadam. In another instance, the
leaf
selected was full of holes, requiring another leaf for replacement. The net
result was a total of 560 leaves had to be utilised for the same quantity of
prasadam distribution to 500 persons.

This is one of the millions of instances of how the Siddhas of the Eternity
always bring grace and prosperity to the bereaved and troubled minds of
our
mundane world through various concepts. The benevolent concept of
Kusa is one
such gift of the Siddhas!
Experience 2.
One of our devotees was the owner of a grocery shop. He planned to put
10 tube
lights in his shop. He arranged all the ten tube lights in a single row.
He counted all the tube lights saying, one, two, three, ...., nine, kusam.
Please note this is another method of the application of the concept of
kusam. When you have 10 or more articles, you can start the counting
from
one and when you reach the tenth article in order, you should count the
tenth
article as "KUSAM" and not as "ten". When your counting
takes place in this manner, the counted articles will have the KUSA effect.
After the tube lights were counted in the required manner, they were
handed
over to the electrician one by one as and when required by him. Nine tube
lights
were fitted in the places indicated by the shop owner. When the tenth
tube light was about to be fixed, the electrician inspected the area where
the
proposed tube light was to be fixed. Upon inspection he came with the
idea,
that the tenth tube light was not required there. The ninth tube light which
had already been fitted was in such a manner that it will cover the
remaining
place of the tenth tube light. Any tube light fixed there would only be
redundant.
There was saving of one tube light for ten tube lights!
You can thus achieve the effect of ten articles with just nine articles only!
Experience and enjoy the Kusa concept of the eternal Siddhas to your
heart's
content!
Experience 3.
The following is the experience of a medical practitioner.
One day a patient who was afflicted with severe injury on his right leg and
bruises
all over the body was brought to the clinic. The patient got involved in a
road

accident. He was crying loudly unable to bear the severe pain of the
injuries. There were three beds in the clinic and the Doctor put the
patient in the middle bed. When there are three articles in a row, the article
in
the middle will receive the KUSA effect. This is another concept of Kusa.
similarly, when there are more than two houses in a street, the second
house
from the beginning of the street will receive the Kusa effect.
The positive effects of Kusa showered the blessings of the Siddhas on the
patient.
Within few hours of his admission, the patient became highly relieved of
his
pains. Within a week, all the bruises got cured. The injured leg was set
and the unbearable agony was relieved to a great extent. He was
discharged from
the clinic within two weeks. He returned home with renewed confidence
and energy.
These experiences may be quite unbelievable! Yet, they are true. You too
can
experience the grace, love and affection of the Siddhas by practising the
benevolent
concept of Kusa as narrated above.
Kusa is a worldwide concept applicable to the entire mankind. Students,
housewives, businessmen, doctors, agriculturists, etc. can all practise the
concept of Kusa and derive economic prosperity. The practice of Kusa ensures
world peace, harmony among nations and international brotherhood. Kusa is the
panacea for all the modern evils like greed, lust, anger, bribery, hatred, betrayal,
etc.
The concept of Kusa can effectively be used in the field of medicine, astrology,
agriculture, commerce, research, education, etc. to bring only positive effect.
Kusa is the only science without any evil effect. Kusa is the only science beyond
misuse by an evil mind.
Numerology and Kusa
The present concept of numerology is considered to be nothing but the study of
numbers. The date of birth of an individual is taken for the study and its influence
on the individual's actions is analysed. The Siddhas concept of numerology has
got very wide application. The creation of our universe and all the living and nonliving beings and things in the universe, their existence and their final
disappearance - everything dwells around this simple concept of numerology. A
deeper study in our daily life will clearly reveal that from birth to death, from morn
till night our every action and deed revolves around numbers. There are numbers
and numbers all around. It is not enough if we study the influence of the numbers
contained in our date of birth alone. As narrated earlier all the nine numerals

should be mastered before we end our human life. As this seems to be a

mammoth task, at least a few numbers may be mastered in one's short life span.
Even that may pose to be an arduous task for the present man. Here comes the
divinely boon of KUSA bestowed by our Siddhas! Master Kusa, you have
mastered at least the positive aspects of the numbers and their influence on you
and around you.
All positive numbers!
It is the innate nature of man to be always good. Man is godly by nature. To
become united with this godliness of men Siddhas of Eternity have devised
various means and the concept of KUSA is one among them. By applying the
concept of Kusa in our daily, any body can become fully aware of the innate
godliness in him. Because KUSA is always positive and godly.
The calculation of Kusa number
The calculation of Kusa number for any given number involves just two steps i.e.
multiplying the given number by 4 and dividing the product by 2. The quotient
thus arrived at is the kusa number for the given number. The simple formula for
calculating the kusa number is, k = 4g/2, where k is kusa number, g is the given
number for which you need kusa number.
Please study the following examples carefully.
Example 1 : Let the given number be 3.
Step 1 : Multiply the given number by 4.
i.e. 3 x 4 = 12
Step 2 : Divide the product by 2.
i.e. 12/2 = 6.
Thus, the KUSA number for 3 is 6.
Example 2 : Let the given number be 7.
Step 1 : Multiply the given number by 4.
i.e. 7 x 4 = 28
Step 2 : Divide the product in step 1 by 2.
i.e. 28/2 = 14
Step 3 : Add the components of the numerals in step 2.
i.e. 1+4 = 5
Thus, the KUSA number for 7 is 5.
Example 3 : Let the given number be 26.
Step 1 : Convert the given number into a single digit number by

adding up the components.

i.e. 2+6 = 8.
Step 2 : Proceed as above and calculate KUSA number for 8.
The KUSA number for 26 is calculated as 7.
On glancing the formula for calculating the kusa number, k=4g/2, one may be
tempted to think that the formula may be simplified as k=2g. In our normal
arithmetic concept the above simplification holds good and both the formulae
give the same result. However, it should be clearly borne in mind that the formula
k=2g will never have the kusa effect. Here "naangil virindhu irandil adangum"
effect is absent. As such the formula k=2g will not have the Kusa effect. The
reason for this involves too many issues which lie beyond the scope of this
article.
Proceeding in the above lines, the Kusa numbers for all the nine numbers will be
as follows :

Boon granted by Kusa numbers
Kusa numbers always bring positive results. We want positive results from all our
actions. No body wants to be defeated. Victory is our only concern in all our
attempts. If we start using Kusa numbers in our daily activities, our life becomes
full of joy and achievement. The Kusa numbers may be applied in hundreds of
ways. A few avenues are explained below for easy understanding.
1. Our date of birth plays a pivotal role in our daily life.
We should carry out the activities in such a way that there
is positive relationship between date of birth and the date on
which a specified activity is undertaken.
For example, a person's date of birth is 1st January 1980.
Based on his date of birth number 1 or its expanded components
like 10, 19, 28 (1+0=1, 1+9=10=1, 2+8=10=1) will be favourable for
his financial or other ventures and activities. That person can
commence a new business activity on 1, 10, 19, 28th day of any month.

The said person whose date of birth is 1st January can undertake
the said ventures or activities on the Kusa date also.
(2 is the Kusa number for 1). In this case 2, 11, 20, 29th day
of any month will be favourable for him because of the boon granted
by the Kusa number 2.
Interviews, examinations, financial investments, purchase of movable
and immovable properties, marriage, appointments, agricultural and
business ventures - all such activities will become prosperous when
undertaken on the relevant kusa dates.
2. In all monetary matters and issues, the concept of Kusa number
can be effectively used to bring about positive and prosperous
results. For example, a person with 3 as date of birth may invest
Rs. 6,000, Rs. 51,000 (6 being Kusa number for 3) in a business.
Bank deposits may be made in multiples of 6, like Rs. 60,000
Rs. 4200, etc. Similarly withdrawals from Bank accounts may also
be made in amounts reflecting Kusa numbers.
3. Wherever possible Kusa numbers suitable for our date of birth
may be preferred as our option.
For example, telephone numbers, bank account numbers, room
numbers
in lodges, apartments, car numbers, two wheeler numbers, etc.
4. The Kusa numbers may also be linked with the particular day of
activity whether that particular day is favourable to a person or not.
For example, a person's date of birth is 5th February. 5 is favourable
date for him. He undertakes a financial venture on 3rd March.
The individual has got two options. He can choose 1, the kusa number
for 5 as favourable number. Here the date of his activity is 3.
He can choose the Kusa number 6 as his favourable number on that
particular day for that particular activity.
5. Few people may not know their exact date of birth. In such cases
favourable number for their name may be used for calculating their
Kusa number. For example, a person named "S. RAMAN" will have 7
as his favourable number as per numerology.
(S=3, R=2, A=1, M=4, A=1, N=5 = 3+2+1+4+1+5 = 16 = 1+6 = 7).
The Kusa number for 7 is 5. The said Raman will reap the
the benefits of Kusa by undertaking activities on dates comprising of
5, 14, 23.
Briefly speaking, whenever you think of numbers, think of Kusa. The benefits are
immense and innumerable.

Harness the mysterious 13

All numbers are the products of the Almighty. Being part of the Almighty all the
numbers have divine qualities. It is up to the human beings to identify the divinity
in each number and use it in the right method and for the right purpose for which
it was created.
Adding the two components of 13 i.e. 1+3, we get 4 which has the Asura God
Rahu as its Ruling Deity. Rahu is the most powerful of the Deities who rule Time.
No. 4 acquires importance because of its importance in every aspect of our life.
For example,
4 Vedas
4 wheels
4 seasons
4th house in the horoscope which rules family, mother, business,
education, etc.
4th phase of the moon
Persons born on 4th or combinations like 13, 22 will function independently and it
is very difficult to control them. Worship of Lord Subramanya will guide such
persons in the right direction. Our present yuga, Kuli Yuga is praised by Siddhas
as the most beneficial of all the four yugas. It is easy to get great yogic powers
and siddhis in kali yuga. You can also get the final liberation from all sorrows in
kali yuga. Kali yuga is called as the Mukthi Yuga by the Siddhas.
The best way to harness the positive aspects of 13 or 4 is by commencing an
activity on the 4th day and completing it on the 8th day. Siddhas' verse goes that
"(one who commences an activity on 13th or its combination) will complete it on
8th, the result that he will achieve is certain to be accomplished." If he completes
the activity on 2nd it will continue, or the activity will grow.
Start on 4, End on 8 - Success is yours!
This is an easy way to success in every walk of your life. There are many ongoing activities in our daily life. Construction of a house, training projects, digging
well, sowing seeds, reaping harvests, searching for a document, oil exploration,
new mines development, undergoing medical treatments, etc. Commence these
activities on day 4 or combinations like 13, 22 and complete the activities on day
8 or combinations like 17, 26. You are bound to succeed in your attempt.
Searching activities become fruitful when commenced on 4 and ended on 8.
Doctors can effectively use this 4 and 8 formula for treating their patients quickly.
They should plan their medical course in such a way that their course of
medicines start on day 4 and end on day 8. This will surely bring a curing effect
on the patients and mitigate their sufferings to a great extent.
Prosperity knocks at door no. 13!
Whatever said about the positive aspects of 13, still certain minds do not accept

number 13. To avoid the effects of 13, some people prefer to note their door
number of their house or Bank locker number as 12A. The irony of it is that 12A
is also equivalent to 13, since in numerology A is assigned the value of 1. (1+2+A
= 4!). If you want to augment the positive features of your house bearing door
number 13, planting and maintaining a neem tree in the Ambal temple or
Mariamman temple is the simplest remedy. The same holds good for those dwell
in houses bearing door no. 8 or its combination. In addition to this, worship of Sri
Ganapathi, who has got unbroken right tusk and holding modhagam on one hand
and the other hand showering grace on us, is very much beneficial to those
persons who are born on 13 or who dwell in houses bearing door number 13.
Alternatively, such people can worship Sri Ganapathi who has lotus on His two
hands.
