I was dispatched to the Comfort Inn at 3901 N Hwy 41 to investigate a hit and run
on the lot. Upon arrival I spoke with Richard Rivers that stated his semi had been
struck overnight while parked on the lot. The semi tractor that Rivers was
referencing had damage to the left front corner. It had been parked in the area
where most of the other semi drivers park. No suspect vehicles were determined at
this time.
Ck Newsome Community Center VICTIM of Trespass [am] (C), at 100 E Walnut St,
Evansville, IN, between 08:00, 11/10/2016 and 08:05, 11/10/2016. Reported:
11/10/2016.
On, 111016 at 0800hrs, employees with the, CK Newsome Center, called 911 to
report Crowe in the building. Crowe had been asked to leave on other occasions
and told not to return. On this date he entered the building and was told to leave.
He did not. He was later located in the EPD training room, an area closed off to
the public. SGT S Kleeman, placed Crowe under arrest for trespass and
handcuffed him. Corporal Phelps then cited Crowe and transported him to ECHO
Health for treatment for a foot injury.

Reporter observed the suspect enter the store and recognized her as a shoplifting
suspect from a few days ago where she attempted to steal baby formula.
On this day he watched her go to the baby food eisle then immediately try to leave
the store. As she was leaving the reporter tried to stop her so he could bar her from
the store, that`s when he saw cans of baby food in her purse. He tried to get her to
stop but she ran out and got into the listed vehicle and fled the scene.
As she ran from him he was able to grab her purse and pull it away from her, she
made no attempt to get it back as she fled. Inside the purse there were 6 cans of
baby formula and 9 syringes.
The formula was returned to the store, the syringes photographed by CSU
Vonderscher and the purse placed into property

Victim, Mr Stevens, owns the home at 1216 N ELLIOTT ST that once belonged to
his late mother. He came by the rear of the home this morning and saw that the
gate to the yard was standing open. He investigated and found the rear door to the
home standing open. He also heard an odd noise. Upon entering the home he
smelled natural gas and realized that the noise was gas escaping downstairs. He
called 911.
A large, basement window in the rear had been shattered out and is the probable
point of entry to the home. Some copper piping was lying on the kitchen floor
and had been removed from the basement.
EFD and Vectren Energy were on-scene.
Mr Stevens was provided with this case number.
No known Witnesses; no Suspects; no surveillance video.

Ave, Evansville, IN, between 07:00, 11/09/2016 and 10:05, 11/10/2016. Reported:

The victim stated that the suspect grabbed her arm, hit her in the face, and choked
her on 11-09-2016. The victim stated that the suspect then took her phone to keep
her from calling the police when the incident happened. The victim had some
bruising on the inside of her left arm. I did not see any other marks on the victim.
The victim was advised to seek a protective order.

I was dispatched to 929 Douglas Dr on an attempted theft. On scene I spoke to the


reporter. She stated that maintenance was making their rounds. They located an
outside condensing unit that had been tampered with. They looked at the unit and
found that both freon lines had been cut. They also saw that the electrical breaker
had been removed and the lines cut. The reporter believes that the unknown
suspect was going to come back and remove the unit later. They copied down the
serial number for the unit in case they needed it. The reporter was given the case
number and records number.

According to the witness the victim is always a problem when he comes in. Today
I`m told he goes straight for the biggest washers in which they have only a hand
full. One has finished and he tells the Manager, the witness I`m speaking of. She
tells him she will start a timer for 15 minutes before she removes the wet clothes.
He insists and removes them himself. A couple minutes later the owner of the
removed clothes appears asking where her clothes are. Bystanders send her toward
the victim. She tries to speak to him but he insists she speak to his wife. The
offender as she tries to start speaking he suddenly jumps in between them and
according to the witnesses he gets into her face and pushes into her chest with his
chest. She appears to defend herself by flailing her hands. The victim`s glasses
were knocked off and his lanyard broken. He insists she struck him in his face.

Ave, Evansville, IN, between 22:00, 11/09/2016 and 08:00, 11/10/2016. Reported:

I was dispatched to Long John Silvers at 2350 E Morgan to investigate currency


missing from the store safe. Upon arrival spoke with the District Mgr that stated
there was no forced entry to the building and that the day shift manager had
discovered currency missing from the safe upon retrieving her opening bank for
the day. The District Mgr further stated that the night mgr told her that he placed
his closing deposit in the safe as he left last evening. There is a descrepancy in the
safes contents between those times. I contacted Sgt. Raben and he sent out Det.
Melton to investigate further. End

IN, between 15:31, 10/14/2016 and 10:50, 11/10/2016. Reported: 11/10/2016.
Officer was dispatched to 6410 E. Morgan Avenue - ( Hertz Car Rental ) to take
an Auto Theft Report. I spoke with a Mrs. Outlaw - (RP) who said, " Our company
wants to make an Auto Theft Report because a vehicle - ( listed ) has not been
returned to this company since the insurance company stopped payment for
insurance on this vehicle- ( listed ), and the lessee has not paid the bill for the
rental of this car - ( listed ). A repossession notice was sent out on Oct. 18, 2016,
for this vehicle also, not in repose. at this time. This vehicle has not been returned
back to this company. Several calls to the - lessee - (OF) have come about, also a
repossession notice has been in place - Oct. 18 , 2016, now the phone number of
the lessee - (OF) - has been disconnected, and no action has been taken to return
the car, so Hertz- ( Vic.) would like an Auto Theft report.

Mazaregos reports that on, 111016 at 1140hrs, she hung her purse on a hook in the
Center Hope Church clothing bank, 808 SE Third St to try on some clothing. A
short time later, she returned and found that her purse and it was missing. She
then went to the employees and advised them of the theft.
Employees reviewed the surveillance video of the property and observed the listed
suspects leaving just after the theft.
The suspects signed in to the clothing bank using the listed names. A patron knew
the suspects as sisters and knew them by the names they used.

Miller reports that on 111016, she hired the listed suspect to do some handy work
inside her home, 869 Lincoln Ave. The suspect did not do the job correctly, so
Miller paid him for the work he did and asked him to leave. The suspect was
angry and demanded more money. Miller refused to pay more. The suspect put
his jacket on and left without further incident.
Miller added that the listed car key was on the kitchen table. After the suspect left,
the key was missing.

Officers were dispatched to 629 E Louisiana St (St Paul Catholic Church) for a
burglary report. Upon arrival, Beth Elders, stated an unknown person went into the
detached garage and stole a lawn mower.
Elders stated she is member of the church and is in charge of lawn care. She stated
she cuts the lawn on a bi-weekly basis. She stated she went to the detached garage
to retrieve the Troy-Bilt lawn mower and observed that the lock was cut. She
opened the garage and observed the lawn mower along with two racks were
missing.
There is no suspect information at this time. Elders was advised to call records and
have the serial number added to the report.
Elders was given a case number.

Weapon (C), at 1015 N Main St, Evansville, IN, between 16:00, 11/10/2016 and
16:10, 11/10/2016. Reported: 11/10/2016.
Officers were dispatched to 1015 N Main (Phillips 66) for a disorderly conduct
run. The run card advised that several males with baseball bats and a lawn mower
blade were about to fight.
Upon arrival, Damien Liggett, stated that he was walking north bound on Main
with Christopher Liggett and Ronald Fark when confronted by a subject with a
blade. Damien stated that the offender ran off of the front porch of 1104 N Main
toward him in front of the listed location for no reason. The offender approached
Damien with a lawn mower blade raised above his head and began yelling at him.
Damien stated a witness yelled she was going to call the cops and the offender and
his friends fled the scene on foot. Damien did inform officers Chris and Ronald
did have baseball bats but could not provide a reason for why they had them.
Ofc Brewer spoke to the witness, Megan Smith, about the incident. She stated she
was leaving the parking lot when she observed the offender approach the subjects
with lawn mower blade raised in the air. Megan stated the subjects with the
baseball bats did not raise them in retaliation and fled on foot immediately. She
stated a verbal altercation ensued and she yelled she was calling 911. The offender
then fled the scene on foot.
Officers spoke to the offender.The offender stated his friend, Kevin, was
outside his home. He stated the subjects were confronting Kevin with a baseball
bat when he decided to grab the lawn mower blade. The offender stated that he
displayed the blade to scare the subjects off.
Damien was given a case number and advised on how to obtain a protective order.

him and accused him of stealing a bicycle. Victim stated the offender punched him
on the right side of his face. Victim had a complaint of pain and I observed a small
amount of blood from a small laceration cut on victim`s right ear.

Stafford was driving Reeves vehicle. They were stopped for the light on Garvin
south of Washington. Stafford stated that their vehicle was struck by a dark green
or black pick up truck causing her vehicle to strike the rear of the vehicle in front
of her. The front car immediately left the scene. Stafford advised that an older
black male came up to her car and asked if everyone was okay. He then got back
in his vehicle and left the scene in an unknown direction. Reeves complained of
pain to her neck. Stafford said she could feel a tingling sensation in her back.
They both refused an ambulance and advised they would go to the hospital on their
own. Reeves vehicle had very minor damage to the front and rear bumpers.

Police were dispatched to 3018 Washington Ave. in reference to a fraud report.
On scene, I spoke with the victim. He stated earlier today he received a phone call
from a person who led him to believe he was the victim`s grandson. The suspect
told the victim he was in Houston TX, and was arrested for a DUI. He asked the
victim to send him two thousand dollars to bond out. He told the victim a lawyer
would call him later with the details. A short time later, another person called the
victim claiming to be a lawyer. He told the victim to go to a WalMart and buy two
thousand dollars worth of iTunes giftcards, and they would be able to transfer
those to cash to get the suspect bonded out. The victim went and bought forty 50
dollar iTunes giftcards, and when the person called back, he read the activation
codes on the back of all the cards to the person over the phone. It wasn`t until all
this was done, that the victim decided to go ahead and contact his grandson`s

today. The victim called Apple to see if the cards had been used yet. The
representative with Apple told him they had been. The victim then called Discover
which was the credit card he used to purchase the cards. They told him to file a
police report.

Officer A. Epmeier and I, Officer S. Brown, were dispatched to the above


residence in reference to a criminal mischief report. The victim advises her adult
daughter`s boyfriend, the offender, came to her home this evening and cut her
Time Warner Cable Telephone and Coax wires. The victim told officers her adult
daughter came home yesterday, but that her daughter`s boyfriend was not welcome
on the property. Tonight, the victim claims the offender showed up on the street
corner with his scooter, but did not initially approach the house. Later, the witness
and granddaughter of the victim, said she observed the offender approach the side
of the house and go running back to his scooter before leaving the area. At that
time, the witness advised her grandmother of what she observed. The cable
service had immediately stopped working after this occurred. The phone service
to the home was also not working. The victim stepped outside to see that the
service to the house had, indeed, been cut.
Officers discussed the option of obtaining a protective order against the
offender. She was also given a case number in order to file charges against the
subject.

WORTHINGTON,

Brian Davis was driving westbound on the Lloyd expressway in the inside lane
approaching Vann Av. when a blue Pontiac Grand Am early 2000`s model, cut
him off making contact with Davis`s front right fender. Davis said the Pontiac
took off westbound at a high rate of speed and lost Davis. Davis returned to a
friends house and call 911.
The witness, Davis`s friend was driving beside him and saw the Hit and run
happen.

The victim states that her husband (OF) is continually harassing her at
her work, home, and by phone. This evening, the offender began texting the (VI)
and cursing at her. The VI saved her text messages and showed me the content.
Shortly after the text messages stopped, the OF came over to her apartment,
opened the victim`s bedroom window, and started calling for her to come to the
door. The victim was not home at the time, but both witnesses heard the OF
yelling. No one answered the door and the OF finally left.
The victim states that she and her soon to be ex-husband have had
problems in the past, that eventually led to her acquiring a subpoena. There are no
active protection orders filed between them as of yet, but I advised her to seek one,
in which she agreed
