The following reason are important to have an assessment is establish, biopsychosocial and
obtain. First, assessment can establish a data base to determine the patients overall level of
functioning in order to make a professional clinical judgment. After that, with assessment nurse
can collects physiologic, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and spiritual data about
the patient. And the last is to obtain data, that will help the nurse establish nursing diagnoses and
plan patient care. In conclusion, assessment is first step important in nursing procces to collect
data about the patient and make an intervention in the next step.
