Placement: Ontario Early Years (Cumberland)

Description:

I felt it was a successful experience. Although it was a


slow, and time consuming process, I was able to read
through the comments and see what the families like.
The surveys asked families about their education level,
income and age, if they were open to sharing. I found it
interesting to read the comments of the lower income
families compared to the higher income families. All the
families were grateful for the services, however, it
seemed that those of a higher income class asked for a
lot of small changes in the programs such as time
changes, different materials and more locations. Those
of the lower income bracket seemed to just be
abundantly thankful for the support they have been
receiving. They commented on the help from the
educators and resources that they have been provided. It

was great to see that the program is providing what it is


intended to provide. I was nice to hear the comments
from those who really value the services. It was
awesome to know that families are benefiting from the
programs and that they have made a positive change in
their lives. It was also interesting to see that almost all
the feedback was positive. Overall, I learned a lot from
just entering the data into the online system.
