The Scientemp Freeze-Thaw Machine complies with ASTM C666 specifications,

Procedure A and B, which test for resistance of concrete to rapid freezing and thawing. It
is ideal for large-scale quality testing of concrete aggregates as well as research and
development programs for various concrete additives.

The standard models offer a high quality Allen Bradley programmable control
and touch-screen interface, network connectivity, and an independent flash memory card
slot for digital logging of data. It can be operated in manual mode or automatic mode and
has a programmable time and temperature profile that has many capabilities to meet
various needs of the user. The standard models also offer factory connectivity for a
Virtual Private Network for factory based technical support, system monitoring,
troubleshooting and program downloading of applications. (Service contract required for
factory technical support after warranty period).
 This high quality machine features: 304 stainless steel work surfaces, internal
chamber, lid liner, and specimen racks. The external cabinet is constructed of welded
steel with a durable powder-coated finish. The cabinet chamber is insulated with 4 of
urethane foam. The evaporator tubes are high quality, brazed-finned tubing. The
refrigeration system utilizes an air-cooled or water-cooled condensing unit as specified
by the customer. Circulating fans in the lid provide uniform air temperature throughout
the chamber. The lid operates with an electric linear actuator for safe and easy operation.
Larger capacity models feature forklift channels for easy installation.

The standard models are controlled with an emergency stop button and a touch
screen user interface. The touch screen has several displays that allow the user to select
operating modes, program time and temperature profiles, operate the equipment, view the
status of alarms and alarm history, view status of equipment and logic functions, and
navigate through the displays.
 Our standard models hold from twenty (20) to eighty (80) 3x4x16 concrete test
beams. However, internal specimen racks can be custom made to accommodate special
specimen sizes.

user defined displays and control options, multiple machine control stations and custom
sample racks.

The Scientemp Freeze-Thaw is backed by a one-year warranty from date of

shipment to original purchaser for parts and workmanship, included labor allowances,
when performed by an authorized Scientemp Service Agent.
