TOPIC/FOCUS: Visit a gallery and gain insight into the behind the scenes work that goes into delivering art exhibitions.

Outcome 3: On completion of this unit the student should be able to compare the methods used by artists and considerations of curators in the
preparation, presentation, conservation and promotion of specific artworks in at least two different exhibitions.
Learning Intentions
The students will be able to:
Consider the methods used by artists and considerations of curators in the preparation, presentation, conservation and promotion of
artworks.
Explain the roles of key staff members at the Monash Gallery of Art.
