Today we are going to find out what are the
first aid measures for bine injuries.
2. EXPLORE

give instruction for the activity.)

Each group will be given a manila paper and I


want you to list down the first aid treatment
for the bone injury that was assigned to your
group.

Each group need to present their work in a
creative way. You can do reporting, rapping,
singing, and so on. I will give you only eight
minutes to come-up and discuss the
presentation of your group.
3.EXPLAIN

FIRST AID TREATMENT FOR BONE INJURIES


FRACTURE
1. Let the injured person to sit or
lie down.
2. Apply a cold compress to the
injured part to reduce swelling
relieve the pain.
3. Wrap a bandage or soft cloth
around the affected area.
DISLOCATION
1. Let the injured person to sit or
lie down to avoid further injury.
2. Do not try to pull or massage
the affected area. It may
worsen the condition of the
injured person.
3. Apply a cold compress to the
injured part to reduce swelling
and relieve the pain.
4. Seek medical attention
immediately.
SPRAIN
1. Let the injured person to sit or
lie down.
2. Apply a cold compress to the
sprain to reduce swelling and
relieve the pain.
3. If the wrist or elbow is injured,
place it in a sting.
4. Apply an elastic bandage that
is not so tight on the sprain
joint.
5. Let the injured ankle/foot rest
for 2-3 days.
4.ELABORATE
Choose a partner and demonstrate the first
aid treatment for the following.

3. Sprain
