INSTRUCTION FOR OBE REQUIREMENT FOR COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Your task is to come up with an excel template that will be helpful to chemical
engineers in doing their work, analysis, sizing up and others. You will be graded
based on originality, creativeness or innovativeness, versatility of the template, and
significance or impact, target use based on work of the beneficiary. You need to
group your class to 5. The template should not be available at Google.
Together with the excel template you need to provide a report which contains the
following:
1. Title
2. Proponents
3. Rationale of the Requirement: That should be the contents of my instruction to
you, and how you will be graded
4. Proposed template: This should contain the context of your proposed template.
5. Significance of the Template
6. Problems Identified
7. Proposed Algorithm of the Template. Schematic Flow of Solution.
8. Function or Specific Application of Excel Used: For that you need to utilize as
many functions as possible. Target is from 8-15 function and or application in excel.
9. How it Works: Should contain the snap shots of sample output every step.
10. References
Prepare for the presentation next week and the print out of your report. Pls provide
your classmates with the copy of the report, because you will be grading the work of
the other group. I will provide next week the rubrics of grading based on the
mentioned criteria that I told you a while ago. You will be graded based on the
presentation and the report you will be giving.
