Difference between
Publications Date and Date Updated
The Publication Date is on the cover of a
paper copy of the document.
The Date Updated is when the document was
loaded to SIS.
The dates directly relate to the document
media number and documents revision level.

Manuals, Specifications
Publication Date appears on the cover of paper manual
Paper copies print only month & year - March 2010
Date Updated shows when document was loaded to SIS

Publication Date appears on the cover of paper manual
Shown as month, day and year

Date Updated is when document was loaded to SIS

Service Letters
1. Publication Date is the letter creation date
2. Date Updated is the date it was loaded to SIS
3. When two dates appear, the first is the original followed
by the latest revision date.

Service Magazines
The dates stay the same as the original publication of the Service Magazine.
The dates are tied to the media number, not the individual Service Magazine
article.
When a Service Magazine is changed, a new media number is assigned.
