TIME
A MOMENT THE BEGINNING
It is written that God made everything in a moment,
One solitary instant of nothing and everything all at once,
A flash of light in a flash of time,
Whether or not you believe that thats true,
In it lies some substance,
A moment can be as important or insignificant as you make it,
But a moment is a moment,
And from darkness there can be light.
A MOMENT - A MUSHROOM
Alone, desolate,
Rotting wood rings the pungent organism,
As leaves create a mosaic of light,
One lone rays shines through,
It strikes the mound of the decomposer,
Illuminating and highlighting it among the leaves,
While littered with imperfections it still has a quality of purity,
The only bright, achromatic being within view,
And as time runs out, a leaf in the above tree shifts, the wind blows,
And the illuminated fungi is lost in darkness and shade,
It is certainly not the most beautiful thing,
But it has its moments.
FOREVER IN ESSENCE
They say that memories last forever,
They say the gods live forever,
And they say that true love is forever,
But how long is forever?
When does forever end? And how?
Forever is however long you make of it,
And it ends when you stop trying,
It is not how long forever is,
But what forever is to you,
Memories gods or love

A MOMENT THE END

Will time end just as quickly as it began?
A flash of light in a flash of time,
A moment of normality to chaos,
Or everything to nothing all at once,
But nothing is ever truly over,
Moments last longer than forever,
Which extend far beyond the end,
And a mushroom can change the world.
