New Rates Effective April 1, 2013

Yellow Bus Rates
$1.50 per mile
$16.00 per hour
$24.00 per hour over 8 hours
Yellow buses have time limitations on school days since they run regular school routes. On school days they
can only be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. We can stretch the afternoon to 1:30 most of the time. On
Saturdays and Sundays, there are no time restrictions. A driver is provided.

Blue Activity Bus Rates

$1.65 per mile
$18.50 per hour
$27.75 hour for over 8 hours
Coach Buses have no time limitations or restrictions and a driver is provided.

White Charter/ Coach Bus Rates

$2.05* per mile
$27.00 per hour

Site-Base Bus Rates
$.59 per mile
There are no time limitations or restrictions. The driver of this vehicle must meet the following criteria:
1.) Be a district employee
2.) Possess a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) class B with P (Passenger) and S (School Bus)
endorsements
3.) Be DOT (Department of Transportation) certified
4.)
Complete the training course provided by the Transportation Training Department
*Note: A DOT physical and (4) four hours of in-service training is required annually.

Van Rates (for Fuel Charge)

$.39 per mile

There are no time limitations or restrictions. The driver of this vehicle must meet the following criteria:
1.) Be a district employee
2.) Complete the training course provided by the Transportation Training Department

DrivermealswillbepaidforbytheSponsor/Chaperonefordaytripsinactivity/coachbuses.Money
formealsshouldbegiventothedriveratthebeginningofthetrip.NoExceptions!!!

Trips beginning prior to 6:00 a.m. and ending after 6:00 pm. will require $46.00 for three
(3) meals.
Trips beginning after 6:00 a.m. and ending after 6:00 p.m. will require $35.00 for two (2)
meals.
Trips beginning after 6:00 a.m. and ending before 6:00 p.m. will require $14.00 for one
(1) meal.

shouldbeaccompaniedbyaparent/guardian,adultoroldersibling.
NoSmoking/Alcoholonanybusatanytime.
TheTransportationDepartmentrecommendsthatschoolsitesdonotexceedthemaximum
seatingcapacity.Tomaximizesafety,nomorethantwopassengersshouldoccupyaseat.
OklahomaStateLawprohibitstransportinganyitemonaschoolbusthatwillobstructaisles,
createasafetyhazardorimpedeemergencyexitfromaschoolbus.
