2. Course Objectives:
The students learn different modes of energy conversion to generate electrical energy. The aim of this
course is to establish conceptual foundation of generation of electrical energy from different resources.
The course will enable the students to know, construction and working of different Conventional and
non-conventional power plants. The students will be able to analyze their concepts to strengthen their
technical and analytical skills by analysis of variety of mathematically- light conceptual-oriented
diversified question sets.
