Okanagan Mission Secondary welcomes 16 teams to the 2016 AAA Provincials!

All team bookings are required to be confirmed by Monday, November 21 in order to secure the group
bookings. We strongly encourage group organizers to send us what information they have and
proceed as if their tournament status is confirmed. Groups that return the applicable documents first
will have a better chance of receiving preferred room assignments and potential upgrades.

Bring a roster printout from STARS to registration for team BCSS verification
Book team hotel rooms at the Sandman Hotel & Suites ASAP deadline for group block is Nov 21st!
Entry fee - $400/team NEW PROCESS: Your school will be invoiced directly by BCSS for this fee
Performance Bond - $300/team - NEW PROCESS: Your school will be invoiced directly if your team does
not meet AAA Provincial Event Obligations
Banquet - $25/person attending - please indicate # on the online form (and if any vegetarian/alternate
meals requested) NEW PROCESS: Your school will be invoiced directly by BCSS for the banquet tickets
Banquet tickets please specify online total number of roster players/coaches attending. We are space
restricted so tickets are limited to 15 max/team initially, and is reserved only for players/coaches. After
registrations are all finalized, and if we have space, we can then offer extras to those requesting. Thank
you for understanding! (Please email Michelle directly to submit your extra ticket requests)
Bring a nice DOOR PRIZE for the banquet - $25 value, each team to please bring to registration check-in
Bring your personalized fun TEAM POSTER along for display in the gym (standard poster size-24x36)
Order team pictures (optional), directly through Vision Quest deadline for special pricing is Nov 28th.
Order Provincials Apparel on our eStore - All orders are completed/paid online. Deadline to order
apparel is Nov 25th. Orders will be available for pickup from the Sixpack Booth at OKM in the lobby by

Pre-order your team pizza* (size L) for during the UBCO Heat exhibition game on Wed Nov 30th @ OKM.
Options: Cheese, Pepperoni, Hawaiian, Veggie ($12 each for a Large). This is optional.

COACHS ACTIVITIES

Registration & Check-in: Wed Nov 30th: 1-4:30pm @ OKM Secondary School please advise us via the
online form of your preferred arrival/practice times! We will do our best to accommodate requests.
Optional Team Practice Wed Nov 30th (will be between 1 & 4:30pm) - pls advise your preferences!
Mandatory Team Photos: Wed Nov 30th - your time will be assigned by the Registrar
Opening Ceremonies: Wed Nov 30th @ 6:00pm at OKM in the Gold Gym
UBCO Heat Exhibition Match Wed Nov 30th @ OKM following the Opening Ceremonies

Coach's Social to follow AGM: Fri Dec 2nd @ Bar One (in Sandman Hotel) free bevy ticket provided!
Closing Ceremonies: Sat Dec 3rd @ OKM following the final Gold medal late afternoon approx. 7pm.

2016 BC High School Girls AAA Volleyball Registration Info for Championship Program
Coaches and Athletic Directors:
The following needs to be completed as part of the registration for AAA BC High School Girls Volleyball Championships:

Team Roster
Visit the 2016 AAA website and click the Registration tab. www.2016AAAGirlsvolleyball.weebly.ca
Download the excel worksheet and send completed file via email (Part 1).
Submit the online form (Part 2) to confirm your teams registration. You will receive registration confirmation
from our Registrar once everything is processed. Part 3 is submitting your team photo & logo to Michelle Schueler.

Please include the following information (excel format downloaded from the website please):
1) First and last name of Athlete
2) Grade
3) Height (use feet and inches)
4) Jersey # (please list players in numerical order)
5) Position
6) Athletes T-shirt size (very helpful to know for our organizing. Thank you!)

Team Photo
All teams must submit a quality colour digital team photo in JPG format. Make sure you follow these guidelines:
1) Landscape orientation, JPG format.
2) Place the team sitting on a bench or chairs, and the other standing behind. Coaches should stand or sit
on the outside edges.
3) Players should be in full uniform (tops, shorts, shoes), with numbers all clearly visible.
4) Use a light background, preferably without lines or patterns. A blank wall or screen would be best.
5) Ensure each team members uniform corresponds to the roster submitted to BCSS.
-If necessary, please crop the image (reduce resolution) to a minimum 600 pixels high by 800 pixels wide.
Very large image files may not transmit via email. File must be sent via email.
No need for headshots this year!

Team Logo
Submit your school logo in JPG format. Colour image, please. File must be sent via email.

Instructions for Submission:


1) After taking (and cropping, if necessary) your team picture save the image to a folder on your computer.
2) Save a colour copy of the school logo as a JPG in the same folder.
3) Place your school name in the SUBJECT line of the email.
4) ENSURE your team picture includes everyone listed on your BCSS roster.
5) EMAIL your team photo and school logo to schuelers@shaw.ca.
ALL teams need to register NOW if you believe you will qualify, so that the program can be produced on time. Waiting
for the qualifications to be completed is too late. Thank you for your cooperation.
