Immediately following the verdict of not guilty on all the other counts in the Bundy
trial, while the court was addressing issues of release, the proceedings were interrupted
and the courtroom was suddenly cleared when the U.S. Marshals took lead counsel for

2) Mr. Bundy is requesting return of all personal property seized from him at the
scene of his arrest, from Lavoy Finicums truck, from his person at the
hospital in Deschutes County, and from the Malheur refuge during searches
and seizures following the occupation. The Governments position is that if
Mr. Bundy submits a list of items he claims, the Government will return the
items that are not needed as evidence in the February, 2017 trial, or the
investigation into misconduct by HRT team members who fired on Finicum.
3) Mr. Bundy also seeks return of each and every item of personal property of
any person which was seized following the occupation of the refuge and does
not belong to the Federal Government, including all firearms and unused
ammunition. The Governments position is that it is unwilling to turn those
items over to Mr. Bundy.

clarify issues of release, speedy trial or setting a trial date.
