Intern - LizaBeth Jewelry

08/2016 Present

LizaBeth Jewelry is a woman owned start up created in 2011 that offers high-end jewelry at
boutiques across the US. Responsibilities vary and include all activities required to help this
small business succeed including packaging, pricing, fulfillment and order management.
Summer Nanny Bitner Family

06/2016 08/2016

I cared for two young boys, ages 6 and 4, as a summer nanny. Responsibilities included
picking them up from school daily, managing their extracurricular schedule and caring for them
in the evenings until their parents came home.
Coach Kims Gym

2012 2016

Kims Gym is a gymnastics program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. I served as
a coach-in-training (CIT) from 2012 and 2013 where I was responsible for helping the group
coach manage up to 15 kids per week including helping with breaks, lunches, and activities. I
graduated to become a lead coach in 2014 and was responsible for the management of my CIT
staff members, the weekly curriculum for my assigned age group and parent engagement.
Volunteer Work & Service Awards

Capstone Program, Austin High School - 8/2016 present: Currently working on a


semester long service project creating a documentary about autism in schools. Our goal
is to raise money for the Austin High School special education program.
Volunteer: Kims Gym Special Needs Team 2014 - present: I volunteer every
Wednesday to coach gymnastics for Bravo Team, a gymnastics program for kids with
special needs.
Austin Dog Alliance Certified therapy dog handler - 2012 2013: I became certified
with my dog to serve as a service therapy team in elder care and special needs facilities

more meaningful Jewish experiences through community, leadership, heritage and friendships.

BBYO Leadership Roles:

Austin Chapter Secretary 2014:


Serve as archivist for the chapter.
Responsibilities included acting as photographer at all chapter events, minute taking
and communications/PR for events including writing and publishing articles in the
Austin Jewish Outlook.
Austin Chapter Vice President of Programming 2014 2015: Planned all
chapter non-religious events and programs. Won Regional Program of the Year
across the Lonestar Region of Austin, San Antonio and Houston for an event I
created on self-confidence.
Austin Chapter President 2015: Responsible for leading a board of 13, handled
logistics, coordinated and collaborated with other chapters. Led chapter to win best
chapter in Texas.
Regional Vice President of Marketing and Communications- 2016 to present:
Oversee all marketing and communications for the Lonestar Region in Austin,
Houston and San Antonio including oversight and management of 8 chapter
communications leads.

Programs and Awards:

Star of Deborah Award recipient for outstanding leadership and commitment.


Helped plan and execute multiple conventions for hundreds of people.
Attended a 2 week chapter leadership training seminar in West Virginia.
Attended a 3 week international leadership training seminar in Pennsylvania.
Attended a 3 week camp exploring and challenging my faith in Pennsylvania.
Met with and talked about the refugee crisis with Syrian refugees in Atlanta.

Peer Assisted Leadership Program (PALs)

2016 Present

I was selected as one of 45 kids from 75+ applicants to be a member of the Peer Assisted
Leadership Program at Austin High School. The mission of the PALs is to enable young people
to use their potential to make a difference in their lives, schools and communities. As a member
of PALS, we work with at-risk elementary and high school kids to help them build confidence,
combat bullying, and participate in their community.
