Scripture Reference:
"For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen..." [2Cor. 1:20]
If one were to actually take the Word of God, and believe it according to what it says - One can reach no other conclusion other than the
fact that EVERY promise of God spoken regarding the New Testament church is still available - is still in effect - has not been revoked or
cancelled - and can still be accessed by EVERY born-again child of God: TODAY!
"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, [3] According as his divine power has given
unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you will become partakers of the divine nature..." [2Pet 1:2-4]
"My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge - and because they have rejectedknowledge..." [Hosea 4:6]
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this
grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." [Rom 5:1-2]
Question: What does the Bible say about HOW we access the blessing of God?
Answer: According to these scriptures, there are three requirements necessary for the child of God to access ALL the blessings that God has
made available to us:
1] Know the promises: 2 Peter 1:2-4 tells us that God has given us EVERYTHING we need to live a victorious, prosperous, healthy life - and it
is through the KNOWLEDGE of GOD and HIS PROMISES that we understand what is ours - and what he has given us.
2] Believe the Promises: It is only when we KNOW the promises of God - and understand thatALL of them are still in effect
for US TODAY that we can believe them. Hosea 4:6 states clearly that if we do not have knowledge of the these things - or worse - refuse to
believe the promises (reject them) - then the result is that we will NOT access the blessings and the results can be catastrophic to us.
3] Access the Blessings By Faith: Here is a simple question - yet it is one of the most
misunderstood principles of the Christian life: When were you saved - Before you believe the promise of salvation thru Christ or after you believed?
If you answered correctly - then your answer was after you believed! That's right: You accessedthe promised blessing of salvation
only after you believed the promise - and exercised your faithto receive it.
Now, here is the kicker! The salvation was available to you the whole time! It was right there waiting for you to access it since the day you
were born! But, you didn't access it (receive or activate the promises) until YOU believed the promise - and then exercised your faith
to receiveit. And when you did that - the promise manifested and you were born-again!
PERSONAL TESTIMONY Brothers and Sisters, the revelation and teaching available in this powerful message includes how the Lord healed
me personally from a painful and debilitating heart condition - AND - How he supernaturally brought me out of crushing financial debt by
learning His promises and applying them by faith! And You can do it too!
God is Able!
I have great news for everyone who is facing what seems to be an impossible situation:
Nothing is too difficult for God! As a matter of fact, He is just waiting for a chance to show how mighty He really is. "I am the LORD, the God

Good News!
I have great news for everyone who is facing what seems to be an impossible situation:
Nothing is too difficult for God! As a matter of fact, He is just waiting for a chance to show how mighty He really is. "I am the LORD, the God

Is It True?
Did you notice that according to the above scriptures; God is not only a powerful God, but He
is able to do far more than we can ever ask of Him - or even imagine!
Take a moment and consider what this can mean in your life. If this scripture is true, then God has said in His word that not only is
He able to do what we ask of Him - but he can actually domore than we can even imagine!
But, Is He Willing?
The answer is yes!
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking for the opportunity to show himself strong in the behalf of
them whose heart is perfect toward him...."[2Chron:16:9]
Notice that He is not only able to do more than ask of Him, but He is also constantly looking
for the opportunity to do more than we can ask or even imagine (dream).

Unanswered Prayers?
Very few things are more discouraging than unanswered prayer! It can cause one to give up, lose hope, and toss in the towel when it comes
to following God. After all, what good is praying if it doesn't work?
Unfortunately, too many Christians are like I used to be. By that I mean that they have a very 'hit-or-miss' prayer life. Their prayers may - or
may not - be answered, and if they are, they may - or may not - get ALL of the results that they were praying for! In other words, they never
really know what the ultimate end will be as far as their prayers are concerned.
Yes, they certainly hope that the Lord will give them all that they asked for - and that He will give it when they need it - but past experience
has shown that most (if not all) of the time they only get some of what they asked for - and when it comes it is usually late!
I call that ineffective - wouldn't you?
Imagine if Jesus had those kinds of results! And after all, we are supposed to be imitating Him - and like Jesus - OUR prayer life should
ALWAYS produce the results we are seeking - 100% of the time - not just sometimes!
QUESTION:
Does that kind of result sound like what the Bible promises?
I don't know about you, but my Bible makes a number of statements regarding "asking and receiving" - and the results most Christians are
getting don't even come close to what is said in the Bible.
That can only mean one thing: somewhere, somehow, we got it wrong.
Let's face it - If God's Word is true -the problem must lie squarely on our shoulders. Either what we believe is wrong, or our method is
wrong - possibly both! "Jesus answered and said unto them: You are mistaken, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God."
[Matthew 22:29]
"And he said unto them, you reject the commandment of God (the scriptures) so that you may keep your own tradition (ideas & beliefs) ...
And, through your tradition, you make the word of God ineffective" [Mark 7:9-13]
Notice that Jesus said the problem here was not with God - nor was His power insufficient to provide them with everything they needed rather the problem that they were wrong in what they believed about the Word of God (the scriptures) - and because they were wrong, the
power of God was not being accessed as it could be. The power was there, but they had nullified it to a point where it was not able to work
- all because they believed something that was not true.
TEST YOURSELF:
"Examine yourselves, and see whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves." [2Cor: 13:5]
" The Lord worked with them, and confirming the word with signs following" [Mark 16: 20]
I love these scriptures! Why? Because it tells us exactly HOW to see whether or not what we believe - is TRUE! According to these scriptures
- if what we believe is true - there will bePROOF. In other words RESULTS!
If we are NOT getting the results that the Bible promises - then there is either something wrong with what we believe - or the way that we
are applying it!
QUALITY CONTROL:
If you did a quality control check on the effectiveness of your prayers - how would it rate?
Could you honestly say that ALL of your prayers were answered - ALL of the time - with 100% of the results you were praying for? Did you
get EVERYTHING you prayed for - ON TIME - or were the results something less than you asked for?
If you answered NO to this question, then it may very well be that there are some things that you have yet to learn regarding prayer - and
very possibly there are some things that you believethat are not scriptural: after all, the LORD promises several things regarding prayer:
"And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." [John: 14:13]
"If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John: 14:14]
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. " [John: 16:23]:
"Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. " [John: 16:24]
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he
hear us, whatsoever we ask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we desired of him." 1 John 5: 14-15]
Reading the above promises - one has to admit that if we are not getting the results that God (who cannot lie) PROMISED - then WE must
be doing something (if not many things) - WRONG.
EFFECTIVE PRAYER:
There are several things I could discuss about praying effectively - but the FIRST KEY toeffective prayer is, understanding that there
are DIFFERENT types of prayer - and they each have a Biblically defined set of spiritual LAWS that govern their operation. Violating the
spiritual laws that govern any type of prayer will render that prayer ineffective - and produce little results (if any!).
I know that this is going to come as a shock to many people - especially to those who have spent long hours crying out to God hoping for an
answer - and none came. Instead, the problem just went on, and on, an on, and on with no end to it.
I understand this because I used to be one of those people. But once we begin to study the subject of prayer, and press in with a pure heart
that is willing to acknowledge that we don't know everything - and that we may need to LEARN some things - and we may need to make
some necessary changes - then God can begin to teach us the things we need to know so that we can get results ALL OF THE TIME - instead
of just sometimes!
WORD STUDY:
Ephesians 6:18 Says: "... praying always with all prayer...."
The first thing I want you to notice is that this verse commands us to pray 'always'. The word 'always' is taken from the Greek phrase 'en
panti kairo'.
The word 'en' would be better translated 'at'.
The word 'panti' means 'each and every'. You could say that this word 'panti' is an all-encompassing word that embraces everything,
including the smallest of details.
The last word in this Greek phrase is the word 'kairo', the Greek word for 'times or seasons'.
When all three of these words are used together in one phrase ('en panti kairo') as in Ephesians 6:18 - they could be more accurately
translated like this: "Praying at each and every occasion and at every possible moment."
Just think - In order to assist the Church in maintaining a victorious position in life, God has given His people various kinds of powerful
prayer.
What many Christians do not understand is that different spiritual laws govern different kinds of prayer.
For example: Although EVERY prayer should be prayed "in faith" - not every prayer is what the Bible calls the "Prayer of Faith" [See James
5:15].
There is a big difference between the prayer of "Consecration and Service" such as Jesus prayed in the Garden [Mt. 26:39] and the "Prayer
of Agreement". [Mt. 18:19]
Both of these should be prayed 'in faith' - yet because they are different kinds of prayer - they operate under different rules or spiritual
laws. Attempting to pray a 'Prayer of Agreement' or a 'Prayer of Faith' while using the laws governing the prayer of 'Consecration and
Service' produces NO results. Many have already discovered this for themselves (though they may not understand why or even realize it).
This is one reason why so many Christians have very little or no results when they pray. Too often people try to use the rules governing one
type of prayer to get results from another type - and this just won't work!
A COMMON MISTAKE:
Some people always attempt to use the same rules for every kind of prayer, never realizing that different kinds of prayer
require different rules. You certainly would not try to pray the 'prayer of agreement' if nobody agreed with you - would you? (At least I hope
not!).
Why? Because it won't work! You need at least one other person to stand in agreement with you in order to achieve any results from this
type of prayer. It's how the spiritual LAWS governing this type of prayer work. How can you expect results if there was no one who agreed
with you?
Nor should one use the rules governing a prayer of 'consecration' [Mt. 26:39] when trying to pray a 'prayer of faith' [Mk 11:24].
Why?
Because, attempting to pray 'in faith' while using the spiritual laws that govern a 'prayer of consecration' will not produce results - it won't
work. The prayer of faith requires (you guessed it) - FAITH! And, faith can ONLY be present when the revealed will of God is known. Read

Scripture Study:
"Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." [Mark
11:24]
to do what He said He will do - then there is nothing selfish about expecting God to do what he says He will do.
And, since the Word of God (our Father's promise) tells us to RUN TO HIM when we are in trouble [Proverbs: 18:10] - then what good is it if
we run to Him - yet get NO help?!
In other words, when we run to Him for help, we should be able to expect help! Right?
Be Careful:
Now I want to caution you be very careful here because there are many who will disagree with what I am about to show you.
Notice that according to the above scriptures found in the Word of God - it was NOT me who called this type of prayer "the prayer of faith"
- but it was God Himself thru the hands of the writer. (It's in His Word - right?!)
So despite any doubts one might have regarding this subject, and despite the various teachings that deny what the Word says about Faith if you are one of those who would argue about this - or if we are been taught something other than what these scriptures say - at
least admit that the Word of God states that there is something called "the Prayer of Faith" and
we simply refuse to believe it!
And acknowledge that according to the Scriptures in James 1:5-7 and Mark 11:24 that Faithplays a crucial role in whether or not your
prayers to God are answered: "But let him ask in faith, not doubting .... For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the
Lord." [Jms:1:5-7]
If we can (at the very least) admit to ourselves that the Word of God calls it "the prayer of faith" - then at least God can begin to teach us
out of His word - providing we are willing to betaught. And regardless of what men might say - we are supposed to give the Word of
Godpreeminence over anything or anyone no matter how spiritual their doctrine might sound.
believe that God heard, and answered our prayer when we prayed.
Unfortunately - more often than not, folks are attempting to pray what the Bible calls the 'Prayer of Faith' - when there is NO faith in
operation - and this is the reason that they get noresults. So, in order to understand exactly HOW the Spiritual laws work that govern the
"Prayer of Faith", one must first have a basic understanding of how faith works.
Now - I understand that there are many different lines of thought on this subject - but I have always found that the best way to get clarity
on anything scriptural - is to go to the scriptures - and ignore everything else - no matter how reasonable or logical it may sound.
Everything we need for understanding the Word of God - is found in the Word of God. We do not want to rely on opinion, experience,
philosophy, logic, or anything else - now matter how distinguished the man, and no matter how big the ministry - because history has
proven that men can be wrong. So, if we want understanding of the Word of God, what we need to do is study the Word of God, believe
what it says, pray for wisdom and understanding, and trust God to give it.
A SURE FOUNDATION:
Notice also the King James Version of this verse: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for."[Hebrews 11:1]
The word, translated substance in the King James is from the Greek word: 'hupostasis'. It literally means "support under" or
"foundation". (Greek is the original language that the New Testament was written in)
In other words, according to the Bible - there must be a foundation from which our faith comes. If we are to have faith - then there must be
something supporting it, a foundation on which webase our hope and expectation.
I DISAGREE:
What if some says: "Yeah, well I don't agree with you. I believe that the Bible can be interpreted many ways".
That's true - the Bible can be interpreted many ways - but that doesn't mean that they are allcorrect!
Furthermore, the only person that will be affected by what we believe - is US. So if what webelieve isn't producing the results we want, then
we better change what we believe!
All I know is that the Word of God DOES what it says it will DO - but ONLY when we FOLLOW the instructions!
And frankly, the only sure way to find out which interpretation is correct - is by proving it with confirming evidence!
If there isn't any proof - then it's just wishful thinking - speculation. And as far as I'm concerned, when I need help, I am not interested in
what somebody thinks about it or some speculation or theory - No Sir! I want results!
And, if we are NOT getting the RESULTS that the Word of God promises - maybe we should consider that we might be wrong in either what
we believe - or the way that we
are applying it - possibly both!
RECAP:
So then - once we realize that the Word of God -IS- the will of God for us - then we will no longer have any doubt or uncertainty as to what
exactly the will of God is for us.
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we desired of him." [1 John 5: 14-15]
According to this scripture - if we ask ANYTHING that is in accordance with His will - then we KNOW that He hears us - and we KNOW that
we HAVE what we asked for (because He gave it to us). So the solution to praying according to His will rests upon us knowing God's will right?
Test Question:
HOW do we know what the will of God is?
Answer:
Simple - We find it in His Word.
A LITTLE MORE:
The Word also says that Jesus is the 'expressed image of God'? [Heb: 1:3]
I am not going to go into a long study on this - but a careful study of the Greek in Hebrews 1:3 - brings out the fact that the Jesus is the
perfect picture or representation of the will of Godtowards man.
And, since we already know that Jesus is the WORD of God (made flesh) [John 1: 1, 14] - then we know (or should anyway) that the will of
God is clearly and definitely stated in His Word.
One should never be in doubt about the will of God regarding anything contained in His Word because God has declared exactly what His
will - IS - regarding most subjects including:
Salvation
Deliverance
Healing
Prosperity
Safety
Soundness
Etc...
Soundness
RECEIVING BY FAITH:
"But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak." [Heb: 6:9]
How did we receive salvation (eternal life)? Was it not thru the process of LEARNING from God's Word that Jesus had died for us - and that
salvation was available BY FAITH because it IS God's WILL for us to have it?
So how were you saved?
Didn't you FIRST believe His Word that it IS God's will for you to be saved? Then, AFTER you believed, you ASKED - believing that God
WOULD give it to you - RIGHT?
And did God give you salvation? If you answered yes, how do you know?
Did you see it?
Did you feel it?
Did you smell it?
Did you taste it?
No! You and I received it by faith because we understood that God said in His word that it was ours - and all we had to do was ask for it - in
faith, believing that He WOULD give it to us - right?
This is the SAME way that we receive ALL the other things that are included in the salvation that God promises us thru FAITH in Jesus Christ
His Word. Yet too many Christians are not even aware that the above verse even exists! [Hebrews 6:9]
Nor do most have even a hint that there are other things that ACCOMPANY salvation! And it is what God has already said about those
things that clearly declare his WILL for us about those things!
Eternal Life
Health & Healing
Prosperity
Deliverance
Safety
Soundness
SUMMARY:
The Lord Jesus KNEW what He was talking about - and contrary to the thoughts and ideas offered by so many individuals - there is no
secret about this subject - nor was Jesus confused! If He said it - He meant it!
Jesus said clearly: "When you pray - BELIEVE that you HAVE received (past tense) those things you seek and you SHALL them." [Mark 11:24]
This type of praying is what the Bible calls: The Prayer of Faith.
Understanding HOW the 'Prayer of Faith' operates is essential to getting results. So if you have not had the results that the Bible promises,
then maybe it is because what you think is faith - may in fact be something else.
The Bible teaches us that there are different kinds of prayer - and different kinds of prayeroperate under different spiritual laws. Therefore
it is important that we LEARN not only whatthe different kinds of prayer are - but also HOW to use them effectively.
The ONLY thing that will help us - is to change our thinking wherever necessary, and bring your thoughts about this into alignment with the
WORD of God on this subject. "Be transformed and changed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND!" [Romans 12:2].
FUSSING ABOUT THIS WILL NOT HELP US!
Debating the subject won't help us.
Listen to the complete message on CD and discover why you have no reason to fear and tremble
before your Heavenly Father and can instead come boldly before Him in "full assurance of faith"
to receive your answer and the promised blessing!

Scripture Reference:
"...their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [18] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. [19]Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, [20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for
us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [Heb 10:16-23]
Come Boldly!:
What I want you to see in this passage is the fact that God Himself has told us to come boldly, and He has told us the reason why we can:
Because our sins have been completely removed from us by the blood of Jesus!
In order for us to understand this we must understand the definition of the words "boldly" and full assurance of faith" as used in the
original text.
Boldness: In verse 19 the phrase is: "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus...". In the
original Greek text the word used for boldness is: "parrhesia"
Strong's Lexicon of Greek Words defines "parrhesia" as:
-- confident assurance
-- bold confidence
-- boldness
Full Assurance of Faith: In Verse 22 the phrase is: "Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith". In the original Greek text the word used for the phrase full assurance of faith is: "plerophoria"
Strong's Lexicon of Greek Words defines "plerophoria" as:
-- Entire (complete) confidence
-- Unqualified assurance
-- Absolute conviction
In 1 John 5:14-15 the same Greek word "parrhesia" is used, only this time it is translated "CONFIDENCE". "And this is the confidence
("parrhesia": Confidence Assurance, Bold Confidence, BOLDNESS) that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he
heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." [1John 5:1415]
Jesus Himself PROMISED us in John 16:23-24 that WHATEVER we ask the Father in His name (Jesus) that He (the Father) WILL give it to us!
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. [24] Until now
you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. [26] In that day you will ask in my
name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.[27] No, the Father himself loves youbecause you have loved me and have
believed that I came from God." [John 16:23-27]
Praise God! No wonder Jesus told us to come BOLDLY in FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH!
How can we do anything less when we have Jesus Himself promising us that GOD LOVES US - and that He will GIVE US whatever we ask for
in Jesus' name!
Scripture Study:
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit..... For in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you"
[Gal:5:25 ][2Pt:1:11]
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ... nothing shall be impossible unto you." [Mt:17:20]
"...all things are possible to him that believeth .... For with God nothing shall be impossible." [Mt 9:23]
[Lk:1:37]
Introduction:
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abides on him." [John 3:36]
Too often we show ourselves to be babies when it comes to understanding the things of God. So often we
think that because we are 'born again', that somehow we are immune from certain portions of the Word of
God - that they do not apply to us.
Moreover, when the results of unbelief, ignorance, or disobedience to the Word of God suddenly rear their
ugly heads - too often, many Christians still refuse to acknowledge the truth - even though the truth is staring
them in the face!
Look Carefully at What The Word Says:
Let's examine in detail what the word says regarding the passage in John 3:36 as it contains some important
information that we may have missed.
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abides on him."
Number 1:
Notice that the first primary point deals with the issue of 'belief'. The passage deals with the results of
believing on the Son and the results of not believing on the Son.
The word translated as 'believe' is taken from the Greek Word: "Pisteo". It is a derivative of the Greek Word
"pistis", which is the same word translated so often as: "Faith". It means to: 'confidently put one's trust in, or
to believe'.
Therefore the passage could easily be translated: "He who confidently trusts or believes on the Son..."
Number 2:
As so often discussed, it is of utmost importance to every child of God to understand that Jesus is literally: The
Word of God.
Whenever the terms "Jesus", or "Son" are used, or any other mention of the Lord as a person - one can always
use the alternate terms: "Word", "Word of God" etc - because they are one and the same - And there is
absolutely no difference between Jesus the "person" - or - Jesus the "Word". [See John 1: 1-14]
I remember what an incredible revelation this was to me when the Lord first showed this truth to me, and it
has had an incredible impact on both the way I read the Word of God, as well as the way I receive from the
Word of God.
So then: When this passage speaks of 'believing on the Son' - it is important to recognize that the 'Son' it is
speaking of is not just Jesus the person - but also: Jesus - the Word of God.
Deceptive Thinking:
As a born again Christian, it is easy to deceive ourselves by thinking: "This passage doesn't apply to me because
I am born again (I have the Son) - therefore it must be referring to the unsaved" (those who do not have the
Son).
But once we realize that Jesus, and the Word of God, are the same - it suddenly becomes clear, that as a
believer, we too can be included in this passage by simply refusing to accept
or believe any portion of the Bible (The Word of God). That it is possible for us to miss certain benefits that
accompany our salvation simply by not believing them. [See Heb:12:15]
Number 3:
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life...."
Notice the word translated here as "life". It is taken from the Greek word: "Zo" - and the literal meaning of
the word is: "Life of God - or the 'God kind of life'.
It is what Peter refers to in [2 Peter 1:4] when He says that we can "become partakers of the divine nature" the same kind and quality of life that God lives! And that includes:
-- Divine Health
-- Divine Abundance / Prosperity
-- Divine Security
-- Divine Soundness
-- Eternal Life
So what is this passage saying here?
Simply put, when one has knowledge of the Word of God (revelation knowledge) - AND - places their
confidence, trust and expectation in the Son (the Word of God) to do, and provide everything that it promises they will have the fulfillment and manifestation of those promises.
Number 4:
"..and he that believes not the Son shall not see life..."
Praise God! This is where it gets real exciting!
I don't know about you - but personally, I love it when I see something that corrects any errors I might have in
my thinking because I know that my Father in heaven is trying to teach me something.
Two Things:
There are two things I want to draw your attention to in this portion. They are:
-- "believes not the Son"
-- "see life"
"I do so!"
Sure, I admit that there are probably many who immediately said to themselves: "How dare Him! I do believe
it!" Hey, I used to say the same thing! Unfortunately the evidence of my unbelief was in my life - though I
failed to see it, or admit it.
And, unfortunately the proof of their unbelief is also evident in:
-- Their lifestyle
-- Their confession
-- Their thoughts of worry and concern
-- The way they speak
-- The way they act towards others
-- Etc.
Why is that?
Because before they will ever see the promises manifested, they must believe it! "Jesus saith unto her, Said I
not unto you, that, if you would believe, you will see the glory of God?"[Jn:11:40: ]
Brothers and Sisters, there is so much that we have available to us a citizens of the Kingdom of God, and even
though we may walk on earth, we are told not only to walk in the Spirit [Gal:5:25] but that we already LIVE in
the Spirit. [Gal:5:25]. In case you haven't gotten it yet: That means the Kingdom of God! Hallelujah!
Why?
Because despite what He said - they believe that the promises of God will only be fulfilled once the kingdom
appears!
But according to Jesus it's already here, and it's inside of us - And, if He never said that we have to wait until
we die in order to experience kingdom living (to live in it right now)- then why do so many of us believe it?
You have to believe it - before you will see it:
But, just as Jesus said: You will never see it - if you don't believe it - and that's the reason why so many of our
brothers and sisters never experience all of what God has done for us: What Jesus paid for! What belongs to
us! What is available TODAY - RIGHT NOW!
They don't believe it - and so they are still waiting for a train that has already arrived!
Number 5:
"but the wrath of God abides on him"
Now we get to the final results of unbelief - as well as the explanation as to why so many Christians seem to
experience the curse - instead of the blessing - (even though we have been redeemed from it).
About The Wrath of God:
First of all. the 'wrath of God' that is referred to here is more simply put: the curse.
It refers to those who are outside of the umbrella of protection offered by God to those who place their,
confidence, trust and faith in Him. More specifically, it refers to those who walk in the Spirit (not the flesh) by
believing the Word - doing the Word - and following the guidance of the Holy Ghost. [Read Romans 8:6-8, 1314]
Oh no you don't!
I can just hear them now: "Don't try to tell me that the curse is working in my life! The Bible says that we have
been redeemed from the curse!"
You Are!. Yet The Bible also says: "Let him who would stay ignorant - stay ignorant"[1Cor:14:38]
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that not only are too many Christians not walking in the divine health,
prosperity, peace, safety and soundness promised in the Word of God - but that the curse is active and doing
just fine in their lives.
-- Divorce
-- Illness
-- Poverty
-- Debt
-- Worry
-- Strife
-- Shall I go on?
There is not space enough to go into a long sermon on this subject and it should be obvious just from past
experience, that every child of God, regardless of the fact that they are born again, and regardless of the fact
that we have been redeemed from the curse - can - and often does - suffer sickness, lack, hunger, peril,
poverty etc - simply because of either a lack of knowledge or a rejection of knowledge.
Remember Israel:
God had blessing without number for them - and it says that the SAME GOSPEL was preached to them as it is
to us - yet they could not enter in (to the promises) because of unbelief! [Heb 3:19 Heb 4:2]
Summary:
" He that believes on the Son (the Word of God) has everlasting life (the Life of God): and he that believes not
the Son (the Word of God) shall not see life; but the wrath (curse) of God remains) on him."
We have a choice:
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and
cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" [Deut:30:19]
Regardless of whether or not we believe it, the Word of God is true, and all will be fulfilled - whether it's the
blessing or the curse. No one is immune, and no one is exempt. [Mt:5:18] [Deut. 28: 1-2, 15]
We can choose to believe on the Son (the Word) and walk in obedience to His teachings [Lk:6:46] and receive
the blessing as a result: The Life of God [Zo].
Or - We can choose not to believe the Word of God - and we will never see the blessings: The Life of God [Zo]
manifested in our lives.
The result of our unbelief, regardless of whether or not we believe it, will be that the curse remains on us, and
we are separated from the life of God because of our ignorance and the blindness of our heart. [Eph 4:18]
[Deut. 28: 1-2, 15]
"...set your hope [expectation] wholly and unchangeably on the grace & divine favor that is coming to you
when Jesus Christ is revealed.." [1Peter 1:13 Amplified Bible]
There is so much more that we have access to then most Christians can even imagine! The trouble is, that if we
are ignorant of these things, than we will never be able to walk in them, or find out how to access them.
Fortunately, we find some extremely important information located in 1 Peter 1:13
GRACE:
The first clue that we find is in the phrase: "the grace & divine favor that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is
revealed".
Question:
Exactly what is coming to us when Jesus Christ is "revealed"?
Answer:
Grace & divine favor. [Grace is the same as divine favor)
Are you Expecting?
In verse 13: the word translated as "hope" - is the Greek Word 'elpizo' - which, when translated properly
actually means: "expectation'. And - According to verse 13: When Jesus Christ is "revealed" to us" - there
automatically follows "grace" and "divine favor" !
Well, seeing as how "we are saved by grace" (thru faith) [Eph 2:8] - we already know how important 'grace' is
when we find ourselves in trouble.
And as far as 'divine favor' is concerned - - - I am sure that you agree that having 'divine favor' sure comes in
handy, especially when we find ourselves in a place where we are believing God to fulfill the 'desires of our
heart'?
So then, the message behind this portion of the verse is simply, once "Jesus Christ is revealed" - grace, or
divine favor will automatically come to us. We don't have to work for it - buy it - beg for it - or anything else.
Instead, we are to expect it as a result of the revelation of Jesus.
Point:
No matter what you may believe regarding your relationship with Him - you cannot know, or understand God
beyond your knowledge of the Word of God.
Your entire relationship with the Lord is based on your knowledge of Him thru His Word - and your willingness
to submit to it by doing it.
Too many Christians try to walk in the promises of God, without actually knowing what those promises are!
Instead, they have some second-hand information, and they try to base their hopes on something that they
may have read once or twice, or maybe something that they heard someone say.
But the truth is: they have no real, or personal knowledge of the Word. Just a bunch of second hand 'head
knowledge'.
Question #2:
Ok - I accept the fact that Jesus and the Word of God - are one and the Same. But what about the part that
says: "When Jesus is revealed "? What does that mean?
"Besides - I already know what the Bible says - so, if what you said is true: how come it doesn't work for me the
way it says it will?"
Answer:
The word translated as 'revelation' is taken from form the Greek Word "apokalupsis": The literal translation
means to 'disclose', announce, manifest, show forth, reveal".
It's called "revelation": And, it is the difference between just having 'head knowledge' of what the Word says and having an actual understanding of the Word thereby allowing it to [live] inside of us.
You see, the word, without the Spirit, is what the Bible calls a 'dead letter'. [Rom:7:6] - there is no life or power
in it - and consequently one cannot expect to receive anything from it. That is why so many 'experts of Bible
literature' never come to understand - or receive from the Word. They are 'always learning' (what it says) , but
'never coming to the knowledge of the truth.' [2Tm:3:7]
It is the same reason why so many Christians seem to get little or no result from it either.
Information: Learn the Word (Get the Information first-hand. Remember it, memorize it)
Meditation: Meditate on it - Think on it - Speak it (How can you do this if you can't quote it?)
Revelation: Ask for God to reveal it to you, to open the eyes of your understanding
Participation: DO IT! ["Be a doer of the word, and not just a hearer only, deceiving yourself." [James
1:22]
Manifestation: The result will be the manifestation of the promises in your life
Summary:
God has given us "all things that pertain to life, and to godly living" - and He has provided the means to us
whereby we can become partakers (right now) of the divine nature (the same quality of life that God lives) And - We can only access these things through the revelation knowledge of the Word of God. [2 Peter 1:2-4]
What's more: We can expect to receive grace, and divine favor in ever-increasing amounts as we increase in
the revelation knowledge of Him.
Therefore, I encourage each of you to purpose to attaining increased revelation in the knowledge of the One
who has called us to glory and to moral excellence.
You can do this in a number of ways:
Seek out and attend the services, bible studies, conferences, etc, where people possessing more
revelation than you, can teach you and help you to grow
