All The Promises of God are Yes!

God Wants You Blessed!

In just about every Christian denomination today - there are questions, discussions,
dissertations, sermons, and Bible studies, about what blessings (if any) are available to Christians today.
Is Healing Still Available Today?
Is Deliverance Still Available Today?
Is Supernatural Provision Available Today?
Are the Gifts of the Spirit Still Available Today?
Unfortunately, in many cases the subject has often resulted in arguments, debates,
dissentions and schisms. And, while nobody questions one's love or devotion to God: The Biblestates clearly that the gifts of God (that
would be all the blessings contained in His promises) are without repentance - (God doesn't revoke them) - and the ALL OF THE PROMISES
of God are YES! [Rom. 11:29 2 Cor. 1:20]

Below is a brief summary of the Audio teaching: All of the Promises of God are Yes!
taken from the series: "Qualified For Blessing."

Scripture Reference:
"For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen..." [2Cor. 1:20]
If one were to actually take the Word of God, and believe it according to what it says - One can reach no other conclusion other than the
fact that EVERY promise of God spoken regarding the New Testament church is still available - is still in effect - has not been revoked or
cancelled - and can still be accessed by EVERY born-again child of God: TODAY!

Why is this Important?

The reason why understanding this is important - is because if we do NOT know and
understand this to be true: then even though all of the promises of God regarding supernatural healing / supernatural deliverance /
supernatural provision and increase / supernatural manifestation of the gifts of the spirit / or any other promise will FAIL to manifest or be
fulfilled in our life.

Lack of Knowledge Prevents Blessing:

Consider these three scriptures and their implication on our life:

"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, [3] According as his divine power has given
unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you will become partakers of the divine nature..." [2Pet 1:2-4]
"My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge - and because they have rejectedknowledge..." [Hosea 4:6]
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this
grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." [Rom 5:1-2]
Question: What does the Bible say about HOW we access the blessing of God?
Answer: According to these scriptures, there are three requirements necessary for the child of God to access ALL the blessings that God has
made available to us:

1] Know the promises: 2 Peter 1:2-4 tells us that God has given us EVERYTHING we need to live a victorious, prosperous, healthy life - and it
is through the KNOWLEDGE of GOD and HIS PROMISES that we understand what is ours - and what he has given us.

2] Believe the Promises: It is only when we KNOW the promises of God - and understand thatALL of them are still in effect
for US TODAY that we can believe them. Hosea 4:6 states clearly that if we do not have knowledge of the these things - or worse - refuse to
believe the promises (reject them) - then the result is that we will NOT access the blessings and the results can be catastrophic to us.

3] Access the Blessings By Faith: Here is a simple question - yet it is one of the most
misunderstood principles of the Christian life: When were you saved - Before you believe the promise of salvation thru Christ or after you believed?
If you answered correctly - then your answer was after you believed! That's right: You accessedthe promised blessing of salvation
only after you believed the promise - and exercised your faithto receive it.
Now, here is the kicker! The salvation was available to you the whole time! It was right there waiting for you to access it since the day you
were born! But, you didn't access it (receive or activate the promises) until YOU believed the promise - and then exercised your faith
to receiveit. And when you did that - the promise manifested and you were born-again!

Accessing ALL the Other Promises:

The same way that we received the promise of salvation - is the same way that we receive all the OTHER promises: By FAITH!
The promises are made available to us by the grace of God - but they can only be accessed by us (received) - when we KNOW the promise BELIEVE that it is for US - and then RECEIVE it (access it) by Faith. This is what Rom. 5:2 means when it states: "...we have access by
faith into this grace wherein we stand".

All of the Promises Are Yes!

"For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen..." [2Co 1:20 ]
Notice that the SCRIPTURES state that ALL of the Promises are Yes.
It does NOT say: "All of the promises are maybe"
It does NOT say: "All of the promises are for some - but not for others"
It does NOT say: "Some of the promises are yes"
It does NOT say: "A few of the promises are yes - but the rest only God knows!"
It does NOT say: "Some of the promises are yes - except for you!"
It does NOT say: "As far as the promises go - you never know what God is going to do?"
No! God has said: "ALL OF THE PROMISES ARE YES! - AND AMEN in Him!"

Believe the Word of God: Receive the Promised Blessing:

No matter what traditional teaching has said. no matter what others have told you or taught you, no matter how confused you may have
been in the past, no matter what others may say - believe - or teach: If you will LEARN God has promised in His word - BELIEVE that the
promised blessing ARE for YOU - and RECEIVE the promised blessing by faith - then you WILL begin to see them manifest in your life!

PERSONAL TESTIMONY Brothers and Sisters, the revelation and teaching available in this powerful message includes how the Lord healed
me personally from a painful and debilitating heart condition - AND - How he supernaturally brought me out of crushing financial debt by

God is Able!
I have great news for everyone who is facing what seems to be an impossible situation:
Nothing is too difficult for God! As a matter of fact, He is just waiting for a chance to show how mighty He really is. "I am the LORD, the God

Have Your Ever Wondered?

Why Doesn't God Heal Me?
Why Doesn't God Answer My Prayers?
Why Doesn't God Meet My Needs?
Why Doesn't God Help Me?
Why Hasn't God Answered Me?
Does God Still Heal People Today?
Why Do People Suffer?
When Does God Say No?
Brothers and Sisters,
These are the questions that so many Christians are asking? And the answer to all of these is found in Scripture.

Good News!
I have great news for everyone who is facing what seems to be an impossible situation:
Nothing is too difficult for God! As a matter of fact, He is just waiting for a chance to show how mighty He really is. "I am the LORD, the God
of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"[Jeremiah 32:27]

God is a big God!

Much bigger, and more powerful than anyone can imagine. But even more exciting is the fact that He is always looking for someone who
will give Him the opportunity to demonstrate His awesome power in their life.
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect
toward him...." [2Chron:16:9]
I am excited!
And, I am filled with expectation of what our Heavenly Father wants to do in the lives of each and everyone of His children.
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." [Eph:3:20]
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" [Jer:32:27]

Is It True?
Did you notice that according to the above scriptures; God is not only a powerful God, but He
is able to do far more than we can ever ask of Him - or even imagine!
Take a moment and consider what this can mean in your life. If this scripture is true, then God has said in His word that not only is
He able to do what we ask of Him - but he can actually domore than we can even imagine!
But, Is He Willing?
The answer is yes!
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking for the opportunity to show himself strong in the behalf of
them whose heart is perfect toward him...."[2Chron:16:9]

Notice that He is not only able to do more than ask of Him, but He is also constantly looking
for the opportunity to do more than we can ask or even imagine (dream).

What Do You Need?

Are you facing impossible circumstances:
Insufficient Income
Debt
Illness
Job Loss
Marital Troubles
Property Damage
Whatever the situation or circumstances, God is waiting for you to give Him the opportunity to show Himself strong on your behalf. So why
not give Him the chance to do so by taking Him at His word - and standing in faith by trusting Him to perform it?
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, seeking to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is
perfect toward him...." [2Chron:16:9]
"For with God nothing shall be impossible.... Jesus said unto him, If you will only believe, all things are possible to him that believes... Be not
afraid, only believe." [Luke1:37 Mark:9:23 Mark:5:36]

WHEN PRAYING DOESN'T WORK:

I do not enjoy spending time on anything that does NOT produce results! What about you?
Many Christians have already come to discover personally - there is such a thing as INEFFECTIVE prayer! They have already discovered that
more often than not - it seems like the Lord never even heard their prayers because their praying never produced the results that they
wanted.
Consequently they ask questions like:
How can I have my prayers answered by God?
Why does it seem like God never answers my prayers?
Why aren't my prayers being answered?
What is the right way to pray?
What is the "Prayer of Faith"?
What is "Spirit Led Prayer"?
What is "Intercessory Prayer"?
Why do we pray "If it be thy will"?
How do I pray to get results?

Unanswered Prayers?
Very few things are more discouraging than unanswered prayer! It can cause one to give up, lose hope, and toss in the towel when it comes
to following God. After all, what good is praying if it doesn't work?
Unfortunately, too many Christians are like I used to be. By that I mean that they have a very 'hit-or-miss' prayer life. Their prayers may - or
may not - be answered, and if they are, they may - or may not - get ALL of the results that they were praying for! In other words, they never
really know what the ultimate end will be as far as their prayers are concerned.
Yes, they certainly hope that the Lord will give them all that they asked for - and that He will give it when they need it - but past experience
has shown that most (if not all) of the time they only get some of what they asked for - and when it comes it is usually late!
I call that ineffective - wouldn't you?
Imagine if Jesus had those kinds of results! And after all, we are supposed to be imitating Him - and like Jesus - OUR prayer life should
ALWAYS produce the results we are seeking - 100% of the time - not just sometimes!

QUESTION:
Does that kind of result sound like what the Bible promises?
I don't know about you, but my Bible makes a number of statements regarding "asking and receiving" - and the results most Christians are
getting don't even come close to what is said in the Bible.
That can only mean one thing: somewhere, somehow, we got it wrong.
Let's face it - If God's Word is true -the problem must lie squarely on our shoulders. Either what we believe is wrong, or our method is
wrong - possibly both! "Jesus answered and said unto them: You are mistaken, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God."
[Matthew 22:29]
"And he said unto them, you reject the commandment of God (the scriptures) so that you may keep your own tradition (ideas & beliefs) ...
And, through your tradition, you make the word of God ineffective" [Mark 7:9-13]
Notice that Jesus said the problem here was not with God - nor was His power insufficient to provide them with everything they needed rather the problem that they were wrong in what they believed about the Word of God (the scriptures) - and because they were wrong, the
power of God was not being accessed as it could be. The power was there, but they had nullified it to a point where it was not able to work
- all because they believed something that was not true.

It is only the TRUTH that brings deliverance [John: 14:17]

It is only the TRUTH that will set us free [John: 8:32]
It is only the truth that brings on the power of God [John: 16:13 o Romans 1:16]
It is only the TRUTH that enables the Spirit of God to do His word [Acts: 1:8]
And that truth is the WORD OF GOD. [John 1:1,14 John: 14:6]
It is not our ideas, opinions, imaginations or interpretations. It is ONLY the Word of God -as stated by God that is true. Anything else is a lie and God will not honor a lie, nor is He obligated to do anything where truth is NOT present. He is only obligated to perform HIS word - and
nothing else. [Is 55:10-11]
When we believe something that is incorrect, whether knowingly or unknowingly - it is still a lie. And, like the Pharisees, we have nullified
the Word of God and taken the power out of it just as they did.

WRONG THINKING - PRODUCES WRONG BELIEVING:

"And Jesus could do no mighty work there, except to lay his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marveled because of
their unbelief." [Mark 6: 5-6]
"And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." [Mt: 13:58]
Notice what happened when people believed something that was not true. Even Jesus himself was unable to do miracles when the people
were filled with unbelief. And why were these folks filled with unbelief? Simply because they did not know the TRUTH - they believed Jesus
to be simply the son of Joseph and Mary, and nothing more. They did not know that He was actually the Son of God.
And, because they were wrong in what they believed - Jesus (the Word of God) was unable to do the miracles that He (the Word of God)
could have done had they only believed the truth instead of a lie.

WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH PRAYER?

A lot! If what you believe about prayer is untrue, or if there are things about prayer that you should know - but don't - then your prayers will
not be as effective as they could be.
If you, like many Christians, as mistaken about things such as: HOW to pray or - WHAT to pray for or - WHEN you should pray - Etc - then the
odds are that just as the Pharisees were unable to access the power of God because of their wrong thinking - neither will you when it comes
to prayer.
Brothers and Sisters, this message is so important that I have made the complete teaching absolutely FREE. Details on how to receive
your FREE CD are provided at the end of this study.

TEST YOURSELF:
"Examine yourselves, and see whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves." [2Cor: 13:5]
" The Lord worked with them, and confirming the word with signs following" [Mark 16: 20]
I love these scriptures! Why? Because it tells us exactly HOW to see whether or not what we believe - is TRUE! According to these scriptures
- if what we believe is true - there will bePROOF. In other words RESULTS!
If we are NOT getting the results that the Bible promises - then there is either something wrong with what we believe - or the way that we
are applying it!

QUALITY CONTROL:
If you did a quality control check on the effectiveness of your prayers - how would it rate?
Could you honestly say that ALL of your prayers were answered - ALL of the time - with 100% of the results you were praying for? Did you
get EVERYTHING you prayed for - ON TIME - or were the results something less than you asked for?
If you answered NO to this question, then it may very well be that there are some things that you have yet to learn regarding prayer - and
very possibly there are some things that you believethat are not scriptural: after all, the LORD promises several things regarding prayer:

"And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." [John: 14:13]
"If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John: 14:14]
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. " [John: 16:23]:
"Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full. " [John: 16:24]
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he
hear us, whatsoever we ask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we desired of him." 1 John 5: 14-15]

Reading the above promises - one has to admit that if we are not getting the results that God (who cannot lie) PROMISED - then WE must
be doing something (if not many things) - WRONG.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Fortunately, the Bible does promise that there is a way to pray EFFECTIVELY!
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man does much good - and it makes tremendous power available." [James 5: 16]
Notice that it says the 'EFFECTIVE PRAYER' of a righteous man! It is not the 'ineffective' prayer that does this - but rather the effective prayer
that will throw back the forces of hell that come against you, your family, your business, your ministry, your finances, your relationship, or
your body.

EFFECTIVE PRAYER:
There are several things I could discuss about praying effectively - but the FIRST KEY toeffective prayer is, understanding that there
are DIFFERENT types of prayer - and they each have a Biblically defined set of spiritual LAWS that govern their operation. Violating the
spiritual laws that govern any type of prayer will render that prayer ineffective - and produce little results (if any!).
I know that this is going to come as a shock to many people - especially to those who have spent long hours crying out to God hoping for an
answer - and none came. Instead, the problem just went on, and on, an on, and on with no end to it.
I understand this because I used to be one of those people. But once we begin to study the subject of prayer, and press in with a pure heart
that is willing to acknowledge that we don't know everything - and that we may need to LEARN some things - and we may need to make
some necessary changes - then God can begin to teach us the things we need to know so that we can get results ALL OF THE TIME - instead
of just sometimes!

SPIRITUAL GROWTH PRODUCES FRUIT:

If you want to GROW in your spiritual walk - one thing that you MUST purpose to do is to make prayer a central part of your life. But in
order for prayer to be the great adventure God wants it to be in your life, you must understand that there are different kinds of prayer.
What Do You Mean?
The Bible tells us that there are several kinds of prayer, and we need to learn to use PROPERLY every kind of prayer that's available to us - as

well as how each form of prayer operates. [And there is a difference!].

WORD STUDY:
Ephesians 6:18 Says: "... praying always with all prayer...."
The first thing I want you to notice is that this verse commands us to pray 'always'. The word 'always' is taken from the Greek phrase 'en
panti kairo'.
The word 'en' would be better translated 'at'.
The word 'panti' means 'each and every'. You could say that this word 'panti' is an all-encompassing word that embraces everything,
including the smallest of details.
The last word in this Greek phrase is the word 'kairo', the Greek word for 'times or seasons'.
When all three of these words are used together in one phrase ('en panti kairo') as in Ephesians 6:18 - they could be more accurately
translated like this: "Praying at each and every occasion and at every possible moment."

"WITH ALL PRAYER:":

But I want you to also notice that this verse goes on to say that you are to pray 'With all prayer'. This phrase is taken from the Greek phrase
'dia pases proseuches' - and when this phrase is translated so as to bring out the full meaning of the phrase, it suddenly becomes much
more: 'with all kinds of prayer'.
Here is how other translators have rendered this passage:

"Use every kind of prayer." [Goodspeed]

"Pray - with all manner of prayer..." [AMP]
"Pray - with all kinds of prayers" [NIV]
"Pray - with all kinds of prayers that are available for you to use" [REV]

Just think - In order to assist the Church in maintaining a victorious position in life, God has given His people various kinds of powerful
prayer.

DIFFERENT KINDS OF PRAYER:

Most people don't even realize there are different kinds of prayer. But according to this verse, God has actually made many types of
prayer available to us to use as needed. Different types of prayer include:

The prayer of faith [James 5:15]

The prayer of agreement [Mt. 18:19]
The prayer of Supplication [Phil 4:6, Eph 6:18, 1 Tim 2: 1-2]
The prayer of Praise and Worship [Luke 24: 52-53, Acts 13: 1-4]
The Prayer of Commitment [1 Peter 5:7]
The prayer of consecration or service [Mt. 26:39]
Intercessory Prayer [Is 59: 16,Rom 8:26-27, 1 John 2:1]
Prayer in the Spirit [1 Corinthians 14: 14 - 15]

What many Christians do not understand is that different spiritual laws govern different kinds of prayer.

For example: Although EVERY prayer should be prayed "in faith" - not every prayer is what the Bible calls the "Prayer of Faith" [See James
5:15].
There is a big difference between the prayer of "Consecration and Service" such as Jesus prayed in the Garden [Mt. 26:39] and the "Prayer
of Agreement". [Mt. 18:19]
Both of these should be prayed 'in faith' - yet because they are different kinds of prayer - they operate under different rules or spiritual
laws. Attempting to pray a 'Prayer of Agreement' or a 'Prayer of Faith' while using the laws governing the prayer of 'Consecration and
Service' produces NO results. Many have already discovered this for themselves (though they may not understand why or even realize it).
This is one reason why so many Christians have very little or no results when they pray. Too often people try to use the rules governing one
type of prayer to get results from another type - and this just won't work!

THINK OF IT THIS WAY:

Imagine trying to play football while using the game rules for basketball - it just won't work!
Or imagine trying to play tennis while trying to use the games rules for hide-and-seek. Not only can you be sure that nobody would score but also the results would be disastrous!

A COMMON MISTAKE:
Some people always attempt to use the same rules for every kind of prayer, never realizing that different kinds of prayer
require different rules. You certainly would not try to pray the 'prayer of agreement' if nobody agreed with you - would you? (At least I hope
not!).
Why? Because it won't work! You need at least one other person to stand in agreement with you in order to achieve any results from this
type of prayer. It's how the spiritual LAWS governing this type of prayer work. How can you expect results if there was no one who agreed
with you?
Nor should one use the rules governing a prayer of 'consecration' [Mt. 26:39] when trying to pray a 'prayer of faith' [Mk 11:24].
Why?
Because, attempting to pray 'in faith' while using the spiritual laws that govern a 'prayer of consecration' will not produce results - it won't
work. The prayer of faith requires (you guessed it) - FAITH! And, faith can ONLY be present when the revealed will of God is known. Read

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Lord, forgive me for the times I get so busy that I neglect my prayer life. I really want this inconsistency in my Life to be broken; I want my
prayer life to get stronger and more stable. I realize that when I don't spend time alone with You, I make it difficult for you to show me
everything you want me to know. Inconsistency is a work of the flesh, so I am asking you to help me break this pattern and learn how to
make prayer one of the most important pillars of my life.
Lord, I believe that you heard my prayer so I declare by faith that from this day forward prayer is a central and significant part of my life.
You have great spiritual adventures planned for me, and you want to reveal them to me during my time of prayer. I am steadfast,
immovable, and consistent in my time with you. Nothing is as important to me as those moments I enjoy with you. As I spend time with you
each day you refresh my spirit and enlighten my mind with the knowledge that you want me to know. My prayer time is a key to the success
that You're giving me in my life. I Pray this in Jesus' Name: Amen!

Scripture Study:
"Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." [Mark
11:24]

WHEN YOUR PRAYERS DON'T WORK:

I like results! I love it when I see a prayer of mine answered in exactly the way I asked - (or better).
And what's more - I love the fact that when I pray - no matter what I ask for - no matter how outrageous it might sound - no matter
how impossible it may seem - The Lord ALWAYS hears, and even more important - He answers me! I get results! Praise His mighty name
forever!
But to be entirely honest with you - it wasn't always like that! There was a time in my Christian life (many years if you must know) when my
praying was very hit-and-miss. I never really knew what the result would be - if any.
And just like it used to be for me - today, the prayers of too many Christians seem to go unanswered - with no results - and most do not
have any clue as to why this is so!
So, just like I used think when my prayers went unanswered - many Christians have also come to the wrong conclusion that whatever they
asked for must not be God's will for them - yet no one can explain Biblically why this is so - though many people are willing to offer any
number of explanations that are NOT scriptural - in other words, their explanation does not line up with what God said about the subject
in His Word.

The Truth is Much Simpler:

Unless one is trying to pray a curse down on someone or something equally foolish - believing that your prayer went unanswered because
"it must not have been God's will" is not onlyunscriptural, but it is a faith-destroying doctrine of demons designed to keep the children of
God from obtaining those things which are rightfully theirs through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In other words - no matter what we are talking about - if Jesus paid for it - then it's ours! If it was bought and paid for by His blood - then it
rightfully belongs to us.
However, just like salvation -there are conditions that must be met to receive it, and this study is designed to help you to understand and
apply those things necessary to bring you to a place where your prayers get results - every time!

I'VE BEEN THERE - I'VE DONE THAT!

I understand what it is like to have prayers go unanswered! And if you are anything like me - it stinks!
In the past - when I needed help - I needed it right then - not later! And, I didn't want excuses, explanations or anything else except the help
I asked for. What about you?
Now some might think this attitude is selfish - but the truth is that if the Bible says that God is faithful, and He can always be counted on

to do what He said He will do - then there is nothing selfish about expecting God to do what he says He will do.
And, since the Word of God (our Father's promise) tells us to RUN TO HIM when we are in trouble [Proverbs: 18:10] - then what good is it if
we run to Him - yet get NO help?!
In other words, when we run to Him for help, we should be able to expect help! Right?

SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

So why do the prayers of so many of God's children seem like they are falling on deaf ears? What is the problem?
There can be a number of reasons why this is so - but I have found that the majority of the time it is because most Christians do NOT
understand that there are different kinds of prayer - and each type is governed by different spiritual LAWS. (For more information on this
subject read our online study about different kinds of prayer:
One of the most misunderstood types of prayer is what the Bible calls "The Prayer of Faith" [James 1:5-7 James: 5:15 Mark 11:24]
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him. But let him
ask in faith, nothing wavering (not doubting).
For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the
Lord." [Jms:1:5-7]
"And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
Jms:5:15]
"Therefore I say unto you, Whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that ye receivethem, and you shall have them." [Mk:11:24]

Be Careful:
Now I want to caution you be very careful here because there are many who will disagree with what I am about to show you.
Notice that according to the above scriptures found in the Word of God - it was NOT me who called this type of prayer "the prayer of faith"
- but it was God Himself thru the hands of the writer. (It's in His Word - right?!)
So despite any doubts one might have regarding this subject, and despite the various teachings that deny what the Word says about Faith if you are one of those who would argue about this - or if we are been taught something other than what these scriptures say - at
least admit that the Word of God states that there is something called "the Prayer of Faith" and
we simply refuse to believe it!
And acknowledge that according to the Scriptures in James 1:5-7 and Mark 11:24 that Faithplays a crucial role in whether or not your
prayers to God are answered: "But let him ask in faith, not doubting .... For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the
Lord." [Jms:1:5-7]
If we can (at the very least) admit to ourselves that the Word of God calls it "the prayer of faith" - then at least God can begin to teach us
out of His word - providing we are willing to betaught. And regardless of what men might say - we are supposed to give the Word of
Godpreeminence over anything or anyone no matter how spiritual their doctrine might sound.

The Prayer of Faith:

Simply put - the prayer of faith: is a prayer seeking help from God on any given subject. In other words - "Asking for Something" - and then
(this is the important part) BELIEVING that Godwill give it to us or has given it to us and thereby receiving it by faith. In other words, we

believe that God heard, and answered our prayer when we prayed.
Unfortunately - more often than not, folks are attempting to pray what the Bible calls the 'Prayer of Faith' - when there is NO faith in
operation - and this is the reason that they get noresults. So, in order to understand exactly HOW the Spiritual laws work that govern the
"Prayer of Faith", one must first have a basic understanding of how faith works.
Now - I understand that there are many different lines of thought on this subject - but I have always found that the best way to get clarity
on anything scriptural - is to go to the scriptures - and ignore everything else - no matter how reasonable or logical it may sound.
Everything we need for understanding the Word of God - is found in the Word of God. We do not want to rely on opinion, experience,
philosophy, logic, or anything else - now matter how distinguished the man, and no matter how big the ministry - because history has
proven that men can be wrong. So, if we want understanding of the Word of God, what we need to do is study the Word of God, believe
what it says, pray for wisdom and understanding, and trust God to give it.

FAITH: A WORD STUDY

The Greek word for faith is 'pistis' - and literally means 'fully confident and trusting'.
Notice that the various translations of Hebrews 11:1:
"What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we expect is going to happen. It is the certain evidence of things
we cannot yet see" [NLT]
"Now faith is being sure we will get what we hope for. It is being absolutely sure of what
we cannot see" [CEV]
"Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being certain of what we do not see." [Wycliffe]
"NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we]
do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the physical senses]." [Amplified]
Notice that the 2 most important thoughts being brought forth is that when faith is in operation there is 1] NO DOUBT present - and 2] that
faith is based upon what we cannot perceive with our physical senses. Did you notice the phrases?
Confident Assurance
Certain Evidence
Absolutely Sure
Conviction of their reality
It is the certain evidence of things we cannot yet see"
It is being absolutely sure of what we cannot see"
It is being certain of what we do not see."
being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith
perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the physical senses].

A SURE FOUNDATION:
Notice also the King James Version of this verse: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for."[Hebrews 11:1]
The word, translated substance in the King James is from the Greek word: 'hupostasis'. It literally means "support under" or
"foundation". (Greek is the original language that the New Testament was written in)
In other words, according to the Bible - there must be a foundation from which our faith comes. If we are to have faith - then there must be
something supporting it, a foundation on which webase our hope and expectation.

And what exactly is this foundation?

There is only ONE place that Faith can come from.
There is only ONE foundation on which you can fully trust and believe in.
There is only ONE source for the truth.
There is only ONE place from which one can learn God's will
The Word of God:
"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" [Romans 10:17]
You may as well get this settled now - because it is never going to change. God's Word is theonly sure foundation on which faith is built. In
other words, no matter what some may have believed in the past:
It is not what somebody told you about the Bible
It is not what someone else believes and teaches about the Bible
It is not what you might have heard somewhere from somebody
It is not what someone heard somebody else say about something in the Bible!
It is not even what you think about the Bible
It is what the BIBLE says about itself - and about any other subject! If you do not have first-handknowledge of the Word of God regarding
any given subject - then no matter what you mightthink - you cannot stand in faith on it. And because James 1: 5-7 says clearly that we
receive NOTHING if it isn't asked in faith then we can forget having our prayers answered if we aren't standing in faith.
One can argue this - debate this - disagree with this - and even dislike the idea, but the disagreement is not with me: Any disagreement you
might have regarding this is with Godbecause He is the one who stated this in His word.

I DISAGREE:
What if some says: "Yeah, well I don't agree with you. I believe that the Bible can be interpreted many ways".
That's true - the Bible can be interpreted many ways - but that doesn't mean that they are allcorrect!
Furthermore, the only person that will be affected by what we believe - is US. So if what webelieve isn't producing the results we want, then
we better change what we believe!
All I know is that the Word of God DOES what it says it will DO - but ONLY when we FOLLOW the instructions!
And frankly, the only sure way to find out which interpretation is correct - is by proving it with confirming evidence!
If there isn't any proof - then it's just wishful thinking - speculation. And as far as I'm concerned, when I need help, I am not interested in
what somebody thinks about it or some speculation or theory - No Sir! I want results!
And, if we are NOT getting the RESULTS that the Word of God promises - maybe we should consider that we might be wrong in either what
we believe - or the way that we
are applying it - possibly both!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'EVIDENCE'?

Simple, if what we believe is true, then God will confirm it. In other words - it will work!
"the Lord worked with them, and confirming the word with signs following" [Mark 16:20]
So then, if what we think is faith is NOT working - then we might consider that fact that perhaps what we believe - is not true - and
that's why it doesn't work! Besides, why keep doing something over and over if it's not producing the results we want?

FAITH AND DOUBT:

Faith does not allow any doubt - therefore the prayer of faith does NOT allow for doubt - of any kind - at any time!
That kind of certain expectation - confident assurance - and absolute certainty can only exist where the revealed will of God is
clearly known and believed.
Question:
That being the case, how can a person stand in faith if they do not KNOW that what they have prayed for - IS - God's will for them?
Answer:
They can't! Faith requires that we BELIEVE without doubting [James 1:6] - and where there is doubt - faith cannot operate with success therefore one cannot pray a 'prayer of faith' withoutFIRST knowing the will of God regarding the thing that one is praying about.

KNOWING GOD'S WORD & KNOWING GOD'S WILL:

"Having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself" [Eph:1:9]
"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for
them that love him.... But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit .... Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit
which is of God; so that we can know the things that are freely given to us by God. [1Cor 2:9-14]
If you meet someone who still holds the belief that it is impossible to know the will of God - then point them to these scriptures.
You see - people love to quote 1 Corinthians 2:9 - but they fail to read the rest of it that states clearly - that not only can we know what the
'will' of God is for us (the things which God has prepared for them that love him") - but that God already HAS revealed them to us by His
Spirit!
As a matter of fact - verse '12' says that one of the primary reasons that He gave us His Spirit is so that we can know these things!
An important goal of the Holy Spirit is to open our eyes to the will of God as revealed to us in His Word. "... When He, the Spirit of truth, is
come, he will guide you into all truth..." [John:16:13]
Jesus said:
"... I am the way, the truth, and the life... " [John:14:6]
And, since we know that Jesus is the WORD OF GOD [John 1:1, 14] - then the 'truth' being referred to in John 16:13 is (you guessed it) the Word of God!

RECAP:
So then - once we realize that the Word of God -IS- the will of God for us - then we will no longer have any doubt or uncertainty as to what
exactly the will of God is for us.
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask, we KNOW that we have the petitions that we desired of him." [1 John 5: 14-15]
According to this scripture - if we ask ANYTHING that is in accordance with His will - then we KNOW that He hears us - and we KNOW that
we HAVE what we asked for (because He gave it to us). So the solution to praying according to His will rests upon us knowing God's will right?

Test Question:
HOW do we know what the will of God is?
Answer:
Simple - We find it in His Word.

A LITTLE MORE:
The Word also says that Jesus is the 'expressed image of God'? [Heb: 1:3]
I am not going to go into a long study on this - but a careful study of the Greek in Hebrews 1:3 - brings out the fact that the Jesus is the
perfect picture or representation of the will of Godtowards man.
And, since we already know that Jesus is the WORD of God (made flesh) [John 1: 1, 14] - then we know (or should anyway) that the will of
God is clearly and definitely stated in His Word.
One should never be in doubt about the will of God regarding anything contained in His Word because God has declared exactly what His
will - IS - regarding most subjects including:
Salvation
Deliverance
Healing
Prosperity
Safety
Soundness
Etc...

THE PRAYER OF FAITH:

"Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them (when you pray), and you shall have
them." [Mark 11:24]
"But let him ask in faith, not doubting. For he that doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed... And let not that man
think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [James 1:6-7]
According to the description of the 'Prayer of Faith' found in the BIBLE - one must BELIEVEwhen they are praying that they HAVE
received the things they desired (not later when they see them).
In other words they must believe that:
God heard them
He said YES
And then He gave them what they asked for (even though they may not have seen it yet). By the way - believing without seeing is what
the Bible calls faith.
Also notice that DOUBT will not only render the prayer ineffective - but that this person should NOT expect to receive anything from the
Lord - including the thing they are praying for!
Question:
How can we believe that you have received anything from God if we don't KNOW whether or not it is God's will for us to have it?
Answer:
We can't! We MUST know and believe that it IS God's will for us BEFORE we can ask in faith (therefore it is vital that us be thoroughly
knowledgeable of His Word regarding any subject!

"IF IT BE THY WILL":

I cannot tell you how often I hear Christians asking the Lord for something that they desperatelyneed - and they insert the words "if it be
thy will" - never understanding that this is NOT a prayer of faith - but rather a prayer of 'Consecration and Service'. For more on this visit
our study on all-kinds-of-prayer.
Let me repeat this because it's important:
A prayer that contains the words spoken by Jesus in the Garden [Mt. 26:39]: "if it be thy will" isNOT a prayer of faith - but rather a prayer of
'Consecration and Service'.
Many confuse the two - and think that they are praying 'in faith' - yet as we have already seen, faith REQUIRES that there be NO doubt
present if one wants results - and if one is uncertain - IF- something is God's will or NOT- then doubts remain - and therefore faith cannot be
in operation - so a 'prayer of faith' is not being prayed at the time.
True - even a prayer of consecration such as Jesus prayed in the garden should be prayed 'in faith' (believing that God hears you) - AND - we
should always maintain the attitude of submitting to God's will (and not ours) - yet the Word of God promises that when we pray aprayer of
faith - we can even ask whatever WE WILL and it will be done: ["If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will,
and it shall be done for you." John: 15:7]
As we have already shown, a 'prayer of faith' requires FAITH - [By faith I mean BIBLE faith] - whereas a prayer of 'Consecration and Service'
may not necessarily be prayed with the individual KNOWING what the will of God is at the time that they are praying - and basically the
individual is praying to FIND OUT what God's will is before they proceed - therefore doubt or uncertainty might very well exist in a prayer of
'Consecration or Service'. We will go into this type of prayer in more detail another study.

WHY DID JESUS PRAY 'IF IT BE THY WILL"?

When Jesus prayed the Words "if it be thy will" -or- as some translations say: "if it is possible" - It is important for us to understand that
Jesus was consecrating himself to the task ahead - and seeking guidance and strength in order to proceed and finish His task. Pay close
attention to the fact that He was NOT asking for something that had already been granted or assured to Him by God in His Word, or
declared to be His by right of the covenant.
When Jesus said those mighty words "never the less, not my will - but yours", Jesus was NOTasking if it was God's will - Instead, He was
declaring Himself to be submitted to Almighty God and that He was willing to do whatever God the Father had planned for Him no matter
how difficult or fearsome it might be.
POINT:
Like Israel, we also have a covenant called: the NEW TESTAMENT. This covenant includes certain rights and privileges that
are guaranteed to us by LAW thru the sacrifice and death of Jesus.
These rights and privileges ARE the declared will of God for His children! We don't have to guessif it is God's will for us - or even to ask if it is
His will - if He said it in His Word - then it's ours!
But what many do NOT realize is that - just like salvation (eternal life) - every one of these things are received thru FAITH in the Word of
God as stated by God in the covenant. In other words - we BELIEVE what God has already said about it - and TAKE it by faith.
We don't have to guess about it, or ask Him if it is His will for us to have it! He has already said it is!
He has plainly, and definitely stated in His WORD that Jesus died so that WE could have:
Salvation
Deliverance
Healing
Prosperity
Safety

Soundness

RECEIVING BY FAITH:
"But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak." [Heb: 6:9]
How did we receive salvation (eternal life)? Was it not thru the process of LEARNING from God's Word that Jesus had died for us - and that
salvation was available BY FAITH because it IS God's WILL for us to have it?
So how were you saved?
Didn't you FIRST believe His Word that it IS God's will for you to be saved? Then, AFTER you believed, you ASKED - believing that God
WOULD give it to you - RIGHT?
And did God give you salvation? If you answered yes, how do you know?
Did you see it?
Did you feel it?
Did you smell it?
Did you taste it?
No! You and I received it by faith because we understood that God said in His word that it was ours - and all we had to do was ask for it - in
faith, believing that He WOULD give it to us - right?
This is the SAME way that we receive ALL the other things that are included in the salvation that God promises us thru FAITH in Jesus Christ
His Word. Yet too many Christians are not even aware that the above verse even exists! [Hebrews 6:9]
Nor do most have even a hint that there are other things that ACCOMPANY salvation! And it is what God has already said about those
things that clearly declare his WILL for us about those things!
Eternal Life
Health & Healing
Prosperity
Deliverance
Safety
Soundness

SUMMARY:
The Lord Jesus KNEW what He was talking about - and contrary to the thoughts and ideas offered by so many individuals - there is no
secret about this subject - nor was Jesus confused! If He said it - He meant it!
Jesus said clearly: "When you pray - BELIEVE that you HAVE received (past tense) those things you seek and you SHALL them." [Mark 11:24]
This type of praying is what the Bible calls: The Prayer of Faith.
Understanding HOW the 'Prayer of Faith' operates is essential to getting results. So if you have not had the results that the Bible promises,
then maybe it is because what you think is faith - may in fact be something else.
The Bible teaches us that there are different kinds of prayer - and different kinds of prayeroperate under different spiritual laws. Therefore
it is important that we LEARN not only whatthe different kinds of prayer are - but also HOW to use them effectively.
The ONLY thing that will help us - is to change our thinking wherever necessary, and bring your thoughts about this into alignment with the
WORD of God on this subject. "Be transformed and changed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND!" [Romans 12:2].
FUSSING ABOUT THIS WILL NOT HELP US!
Debating the subject won't help us.

Arguing about it won't help us.

Sticking with some doctrine that doesn't work won't help us.
Continuing with no results won't help us.
Instead, do as the Bible instructs us in James & Timothy: Study the Word of God on this subject and ask God for wisdom. Once you have
gained knowledge from the Word on praying effectively with ALL kinds of prayer - You will be amazed at how powerful your prayers will

PRAYER THAT GETS RESULTS:

It is the Prayer of Faith that heals the sick: [James 5:15]
It is the Prayer of Faith that enables us to receive wisdom & guidance:
[James 1:6 & Jeremiah 33:3]
It is the Prayer of Faith that enables us to change unfavorable circumstances & situations:[Mk 11:23-24]
It is the Prayer of Faith that enables us to receive supernatural strength & ability:
[Acts 1:8]
It is the Prayer of Faith that allows us to ask anything of the Lord and receive it:
[Matthew 21:22 John 14:13 John 16:23-24]
Unfortunately, the average Christian has no idea what the prayer of faith is - how the prayer of faith works - or even such Bible basics such
as what faith actually is and where it comes from!
Many are even unsure as to whether or not they have faith - and the majority have no idea how to actually use their faith if the do have it!
This is why we have made this FREE CD OFFER available to the Body of Christ. In the audio sermon we will explain the fundamentals of faith,
what the prayer of faith is, how to use it properly and how to trust the Lord so as to receive your answer every time.

Scripture Reference:
"...their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [18] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. [19]Having

therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, [20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for
us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [Heb 10:16-23]

No Room For Timidity:

When we examine the above passage carefully, we can see that the way most Christians approached their Heavenly Father, and the way
He tells us to approach Him are completely different!
Most Christians approach God in fear of rejection and complete lack of confidence as to whether He will even listen to them - much less
actually answer!
Yet, Scripture tell us that we are to come BOLDLY before the throne of God IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH! That means that there is NO
room of timidity in our relationship with our Heavenly Father - and no reason to be afraid, or lacking confidence.

Come Boldly!:
What I want you to see in this passage is the fact that God Himself has told us to come boldly, and He has told us the reason why we can:
Because our sins have been completely removed from us by the blood of Jesus!
In order for us to understand this we must understand the definition of the words "boldly" and full assurance of faith" as used in the
original text.
Boldness: In verse 19 the phrase is: "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus...". In the
original Greek text the word used for boldness is: "parrhesia"
Strong's Lexicon of Greek Words defines "parrhesia" as:
-- confident assurance
-- bold confidence
-- boldness
Full Assurance of Faith: In Verse 22 the phrase is: "Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith". In the original Greek text the word used for the phrase full assurance of faith is: "plerophoria"
Strong's Lexicon of Greek Words defines "plerophoria" as:
-- Entire (complete) confidence
-- Unqualified assurance
-- Absolute conviction
In 1 John 5:14-15 the same Greek word "parrhesia" is used, only this time it is translated "CONFIDENCE". "And this is the confidence
("parrhesia": Confidence Assurance, Bold Confidence, BOLDNESS) that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he
heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." [1John 5:1415]

We Have His Promise!:

Brothers and Sisters, do NOT be fooled by some religious teaching of man's philosophy, neither allow that old dragon (the devil) to deceive
you into believing a lie. Your Heavenly Father has told us to COME BOLDLY before Him and to ask for whatever we need - and then to have
CONFIDENCE that He WILL grant our petition and GIVE US what we ask!

Jesus Himself PROMISED us in John 16:23-24 that WHATEVER we ask the Father in His name (Jesus) that He (the Father) WILL give it to us!
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. [24] Until now
you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. [26] In that day you will ask in my
name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.[27] No, the Father himself loves youbecause you have loved me and have
believed that I came from God." [John 16:23-27]
Praise God! No wonder Jesus told us to come BOLDLY in FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH!
How can we do anything less when we have Jesus Himself promising us that GOD LOVES US - and that He will GIVE US whatever we ask for
in Jesus' name!

Do You Have Confidence In God?

Brethren, I encourage you to listen to this entire audio message and discover how you can come before the throne of God in "full assurance
of faith" and obtain whatever you need without any fear of rejection or denial.

Part 2: Seeing is Believing

Scripture Study:
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit..... For in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you"
[Gal:5:25 ][2Pt:1:11]
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ... nothing shall be impossible unto you." [Mt:17:20]
"...all things are possible to him that believeth .... For with God nothing shall be impossible." [Mt 9:23]
[Lk:1:37]

Introduction:
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abides on him." [John 3:36]
Too often we show ourselves to be babies when it comes to understanding the things of God. So often we
think that because we are 'born again', that somehow we are immune from certain portions of the Word of
God - that they do not apply to us.
Moreover, when the results of unbelief, ignorance, or disobedience to the Word of God suddenly rear their
ugly heads - too often, many Christians still refuse to acknowledge the truth - even though the truth is staring
them in the face!
Look Carefully at What The Word Says:
Let's examine in detail what the word says regarding the passage in John 3:36 as it contains some important
information that we may have missed.
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the
wrath of God abides on him."

Number 1:
Notice that the first primary point deals with the issue of 'belief'. The passage deals with the results of
believing on the Son and the results of not believing on the Son.
The word translated as 'believe' is taken from the Greek Word: "Pisteo". It is a derivative of the Greek Word
"pistis", which is the same word translated so often as: "Faith". It means to: 'confidently put one's trust in, or
to believe'.
Therefore the passage could easily be translated: "He who confidently trusts or believes on the Son..."
Number 2:
As so often discussed, it is of utmost importance to every child of God to understand that Jesus is literally: The
Word of God.
Whenever the terms "Jesus", or "Son" are used, or any other mention of the Lord as a person - one can always
use the alternate terms: "Word", "Word of God" etc - because they are one and the same - And there is
absolutely no difference between Jesus the "person" - or - Jesus the "Word". [See John 1: 1-14]
I remember what an incredible revelation this was to me when the Lord first showed this truth to me, and it
has had an incredible impact on both the way I read the Word of God, as well as the way I receive from the
Word of God.
So then: When this passage speaks of 'believing on the Son' - it is important to recognize that the 'Son' it is
speaking of is not just Jesus the person - but also: Jesus - the Word of God.

It's Getting Clearer:

Look what happens when we translate this passage using by including the "Word of God":
"He that believes on the Son: (The "Word of God) has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son: (The
Word of God) shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him."
Suddenly the passage takes on a new meaning, especially to the believer.

Deceptive Thinking:
As a born again Christian, it is easy to deceive ourselves by thinking: "This passage doesn't apply to me because
I am born again (I have the Son) - therefore it must be referring to the unsaved" (those who do not have the
Son).
But once we realize that Jesus, and the Word of God, are the same - it suddenly becomes clear, that as a
believer, we too can be included in this passage by simply refusing to accept
or believe any portion of the Bible (The Word of God). That it is possible for us to miss certain benefits that
accompany our salvation simply by not believing them. [See Heb:12:15]

Number 3:
"He that believes on the Son has everlasting life...."
Notice the word translated here as "life". It is taken from the Greek word: "Zo" - and the literal meaning of
the word is: "Life of God - or the 'God kind of life'.

It is what Peter refers to in [2 Peter 1:4] when He says that we can "become partakers of the divine nature" the same kind and quality of life that God lives! And that includes:
-- Divine Health
-- Divine Abundance / Prosperity
-- Divine Security
-- Divine Soundness
-- Eternal Life
So what is this passage saying here?
Simply put, when one has knowledge of the Word of God (revelation knowledge) - AND - places their
confidence, trust and expectation in the Son (the Word of God) to do, and provide everything that it promises they will have the fulfillment and manifestation of those promises.

Number 4:
"..and he that believes not the Son shall not see life..."
Praise God! This is where it gets real exciting!
I don't know about you - but personally, I love it when I see something that corrects any errors I might have in
my thinking because I know that my Father in heaven is trying to teach me something.
Two Things:
There are two things I want to draw your attention to in this portion. They are:
-- "believes not the Son"
-- "see life"

Let's start with: "the son":

Notice that, unlike the first portion of the verse, it does not say: "believes not on the Son" - but rather, it
says: "believes not the Son" or (the Word)". The word "on" is omitted. Did you notice that?
I do not think that God made a mistake here. What about you?
As far as I am concerned you just can't get any more clear than this. We already know that "Jesus" - and "the
Word" are one and the same. Therefore this portion could simply read: "Hey - listen up - if you don't believe
the Word, then forget trying to get anything from it!" [my paraphrase]
And, if this is so, it also becomes blatantly obvious why so many Christians experience the failures, defeats,
sickness, etc that they do.
Why?
Because of the fact that even though they may acknowledge that the Son (the Word) does make certain
promises - they do not actually believe them in their heart.

"I do so!"
Sure, I admit that there are probably many who immediately said to themselves: "How dare Him! I do believe
it!" Hey, I used to say the same thing! Unfortunately the evidence of my unbelief was in my life - though I
failed to see it, or admit it.
And, unfortunately the proof of their unbelief is also evident in:

-- Their lifestyle
-- Their confession
-- Their thoughts of worry and concern
-- The way they speak
-- The way they act towards others
-- Etc.

Next - Let's deal with the word "see":

" ..and he that believes not the Son shall not see life..."
Did you notice that the person who does not believe the Son (the Word of God) - will not see life? Again, the
word life here is: "Zo" - the Life of God. I like to say it this way: Kingdom living!
True, as a born again believer, you may very well have eternal life abiding in you - but if you don't believe the
promise of the Son (the Word) regarding all of the other benefits -AND- that are yours as a citizen of the
Kingdom of God (See Psalm 103) - and that are available RIGHT NOW - here on this planet - you will
never SEE them!
As the Word of God says, there are a whole lot more things that accompany salvation than just "eternal life".
[Heb:6:9] - but you will never see them if you don't believe them, and these are not just for when you die but RIGHT NOW!
Doesn't the Word say that "where there is no vision (people who cannot see) the people perish"? [Prov:29:18]
Again, this would explain why so many Christians suffer continual failure and defeat. And, no matter how much
they try, they just never seem to be able to get to the place where the promises of God are manifested in their
lives.

Why is that?
Because before they will ever see the promises manifested, they must believe it! "Jesus saith unto her, Said I
not unto you, that, if you would believe, you will see the glory of God?"[Jn:11:40: ]
Brothers and Sisters, there is so much that we have available to us a citizens of the Kingdom of God, and even
though we may walk on earth, we are told not only to walk in the Spirit [Gal:5:25] but that we already LIVE in
the Spirit. [Gal:5:25]. In case you haven't gotten it yet: That means the Kingdom of God! Hallelujah!

We Don't Have to Wait!

When will we realize that we don't have to wait to get to heaven before we can live the life of God?
Where does it say that we have to wait?
When Jesus was asked by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of heaven would appear: Look at what He
said: ".....The kingdom of God does not come with observation: Neither shall they say, Look here! or, look
there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." [Lk:17:20-21]
He didn't say: "it's coming, just keep looking for it because it's bound to show up here one day!"
NO!
He said: "It's HERE - and it's in you!"
Yet despite what Jesus said, how many Christians are still looking and waiting for the kingdom to appear (for
Jesus to come back, the rapture, going on to glory, etc).

Why?
Because despite what He said - they believe that the promises of God will only be fulfilled once the kingdom
appears!
But according to Jesus it's already here, and it's inside of us - And, if He never said that we have to wait until
we die in order to experience kingdom living (to live in it right now)- then why do so many of us believe it?
You have to believe it - before you will see it:
But, just as Jesus said: You will never see it - if you don't believe it - and that's the reason why so many of our
brothers and sisters never experience all of what God has done for us: What Jesus paid for! What belongs to
us! What is available TODAY - RIGHT NOW!
They don't believe it - and so they are still waiting for a train that has already arrived!

Number 5:
"but the wrath of God abides on him"
Now we get to the final results of unbelief - as well as the explanation as to why so many Christians seem to
experience the curse - instead of the blessing - (even though we have been redeemed from it).
About The Wrath of God:
First of all. the 'wrath of God' that is referred to here is more simply put: the curse.
It refers to those who are outside of the umbrella of protection offered by God to those who place their,
confidence, trust and faith in Him. More specifically, it refers to those who walk in the Spirit (not the flesh) by
believing the Word - doing the Word - and following the guidance of the Holy Ghost. [Read Romans 8:6-8, 1314]

Oh no you don't!
I can just hear them now: "Don't try to tell me that the curse is working in my life! The Bible says that we have
been redeemed from the curse!"
You Are!. Yet The Bible also says: "Let him who would stay ignorant - stay ignorant"[1Cor:14:38]
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that not only are too many Christians not walking in the divine health,
prosperity, peace, safety and soundness promised in the Word of God - but that the curse is active and doing
just fine in their lives.
-- Divorce
-- Illness
-- Poverty
-- Debt
-- Worry
-- Strife
-- Shall I go on?
There is not space enough to go into a long sermon on this subject and it should be obvious just from past
experience, that every child of God, regardless of the fact that they are born again, and regardless of the fact
that we have been redeemed from the curse - can - and often does - suffer sickness, lack, hunger, peril,
poverty etc - simply because of either a lack of knowledge or a rejection of knowledge.

Christians are not immune:

[Ephesians 4:17-18] states clearly that if we, as children of God, continue to live, think, and act as the world
does, then we can, and will, suffer from the effects of the curse, and be"separated (self-banished) from the life
of God". (Zo). [Read also Romans 8:6,13 - it was written to the church]
I understand that this may come as a surprise to many - but the Bible says it - therefore it must be true - and I
believe it - and so should you!
For a more detailed study of this subject read the series on Why Christians Suffer.

Notice also the word: "abides":

"but the wrath of God (the curse) abides on him"
The word translated here as "abides" - is taken from the Greek word: "merimnao". And when translated
literally, the more proper translation would be "remains". Therefore a better rendition of this portion of the
passage would be: "the curse remains on him."
Again, notice that the result of not believing on the Son (the Word of God) - is that the effects of the curse
remains on the person. Notice also that it doesn't say that Christians are immune just because they are born
again.
Yes, we have been redeemed from the curse, but if we, as children of God, continue to live in disobedience to
God, or unbelief towards the Word of God, we place ourselves outside the protection that we have in Him, and
once that happens, instead of the curse being lifted - it remains.
In other words, if we choose not to believe that healing, safety, deliverance, soundness, prosperity, or any of
the other promises of God are not our for the taking: NOW - but instead choose to believe some foolish
doctrine of devils - that maybe God is trying to "teach us something" - or some other foolish notion - then
despite the fact that we have been redeemed - the effects of the curse will remain on us.

Remember Israel:
God had blessing without number for them - and it says that the SAME GOSPEL was preached to them as it is
to us - yet they could not enter in (to the promises) because of unbelief! [Heb 3:19 Heb 4:2]

Summary:
" He that believes on the Son (the Word of God) has everlasting life (the Life of God): and he that believes not
the Son (the Word of God) shall not see life; but the wrath (curse) of God remains) on him."
We have a choice:
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and
cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" [Deut:30:19]
Regardless of whether or not we believe it, the Word of God is true, and all will be fulfilled - whether it's the
blessing or the curse. No one is immune, and no one is exempt. [Mt:5:18] [Deut. 28: 1-2, 15]
We can choose to believe on the Son (the Word) and walk in obedience to His teachings [Lk:6:46] and receive
the blessing as a result: The Life of God [Zo].
Or - We can choose not to believe the Word of God - and we will never see the blessings: The Life of God [Zo]
manifested in our lives.

The result of our unbelief, regardless of whether or not we believe it, will be that the curse remains on us, and
we are separated from the life of God because of our ignorance and the blindness of our heart. [Eph 4:18]
[Deut. 28: 1-2, 15]

Part 1: Expectation without Revelation

Scripture Study:
"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit..... For in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you"
[Gal:5:25 ][2Pt:1:11]
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ... nothing shall be impossible unto you." [Mt:17:20]
"...all things are possible to him that believeth .... For with God nothing shall be impossible." [Mt 9:23]
[Lk:1:37]

Introduction:
"...set your hope [expectation] wholly and unchangeably on the grace & divine favor that is coming to you
when Jesus Christ is revealed.." [1Peter 1:13 Amplified Bible]
There is so much more that we have access to then most Christians can even imagine! The trouble is, that if we
are ignorant of these things, than we will never be able to walk in them, or find out how to access them.
Fortunately, we find some extremely important information located in 1 Peter 1:13

GRACE:
The first clue that we find is in the phrase: "the grace & divine favor that is coming to you when Jesus Christ is
revealed".

Question:
Exactly what is coming to us when Jesus Christ is "revealed"?
Answer:
Grace & divine favor. [Grace is the same as divine favor)
Are you Expecting?
In verse 13: the word translated as "hope" - is the Greek Word 'elpizo' - which, when translated properly
actually means: "expectation'. And - According to verse 13: When Jesus Christ is "revealed" to us" - there
automatically follows "grace" and "divine favor" !
Well, seeing as how "we are saved by grace" (thru faith) [Eph 2:8] - we already know how important 'grace' is
when we find ourselves in trouble.
And as far as 'divine favor' is concerned - - - I am sure that you agree that having 'divine favor' sure comes in
handy, especially when we find ourselves in a place where we are believing God to fulfill the 'desires of our
heart'?
So then, the message behind this portion of the verse is simply, once "Jesus Christ is revealed" - grace, or
divine favor will automatically come to us. We don't have to work for it - buy it - beg for it - or anything else.
Instead, we are to expect it as a result of the revelation of Jesus.

WHO - OR WHAT - IS BEING REVEALED?

Ok, so grace and divine favor is coming to me when Jesus Christ is revealed. That's all nice and good - but what
about right now - I need it today, not just when Jesus comes back?
Well, let's examine that thought more carefully. I know that there are many who may be thinking thoughts
similar to it (if not exactly).
Question #1:
Exactly who does the Bible say that Jesus Christ is?
Answer:
He is our Savior, the only begotten son of God - but just as important is the fact that, according to the Bible Jesus Christ is literally, the Word of God: made flesh. [John 1: 1-14]
In other words, Jesus is the living version of the Word of God (and the printed word too: the Bible).
There is no difference between Him and the Scriptures - they are both the same - and they are inseparable. He
is literally the spoken, or printed Word of God - made flesh....AND He is also the perfect picture, or the
revealed Living God - in print.
It is extremely important that every Christian get hold of this fact in order to understand fully exactly how
much power there is in the Word of God - and how important it is for every Christian to develop a personal
relationship with the Word thru daily reading and meditation - AND doing it!
You see, no matter what you may have believed, or thought up to this point: the level of your knowledge of
God, AND your relationship with Him, is directly related to your knowledge of the Word of God.

Point:
No matter what you may believe regarding your relationship with Him - you cannot know, or understand God
beyond your knowledge of the Word of God.

Your entire relationship with the Lord is based on your knowledge of Him thru His Word - and your willingness
to submit to it by doing it.

Too many Christians try to walk in the promises of God, without actually knowing what those promises are!
Instead, they have some second-hand information, and they try to base their hopes on something that they
may have read once or twice, or maybe something that they heard someone say.
But the truth is: they have no real, or personal knowledge of the Word. Just a bunch of second hand 'head
knowledge'.

Summary to question #1: :

The "Jesus Christ" that is being referred to in Verse 13 is: The Word Of God:
Look at the following passage in 2 Peter Chapter 1: "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the
knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord".
Notice how "grace" (divine favor) and peace are multiplied to us. How? By our knowledge of Jesus (our Lord).
In other words: It is our knowledge of the Word of God that provides access to the grace and peace that is
available to us.
"By whom (Jesus - the Word of God] we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in
hope (expectation) of the glory of God." [Rom:5:2]

Question #2:
Ok - I accept the fact that Jesus and the Word of God - are one and the Same. But what about the part that
says: "When Jesus is revealed "? What does that mean?
"Besides - I already know what the Bible says - so, if what you said is true: how come it doesn't work for me the
way it says it will?"
Answer:
The word translated as 'revelation' is taken from form the Greek Word "apokalupsis": The literal translation
means to 'disclose', announce, manifest, show forth, reveal".
It's called "revelation": And, it is the difference between just having 'head knowledge' of what the Word says and having an actual understanding of the Word thereby allowing it to [live] inside of us.
You see, the word, without the Spirit, is what the Bible calls a 'dead letter'. [Rom:7:6] - there is no life or power

in it - and consequently one cannot expect to receive anything from it. That is why so many 'experts of Bible
literature' never come to understand - or receive from the Word. They are 'always learning' (what it says) , but
'never coming to the knowledge of the truth.' [2Tm:3:7]
It is the same reason why so many Christians seem to get little or no result from it either.

Head Knowledge vs. Revelation:

True, they can quote scripture on a variety of subjects - but the secret is not how much scriptureyou can quote
to God - but rather how much He can quote to you! ........ And no matter how much scripture you may be able
to quote, what good does it do you if it's not working in your life?
It is not until your 'head knowledge' becomes 'revelation' knowledge - that the Word will transform from a
dead letter to the living Word - and only then will it have the power to do what it promises: "bring you grace
and divine favor".

Hearing vs. Having Heard

Revelation comes not by having heard - but instead by 'continually hearing' [Romans 10:17]...... And, we can
find the necessary information on how to take 'head knowledge' and make sure it becomes 'revelation
knowledge' in the book of Joshua. God gave us specific instructions on how to do this:
"This book of the law (my Word) shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate on it day and
night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: and only then shall you make your way
prosperous, and then you shall have good success." [Joshua 1:8]
Dead Letter to Living Revelation:
The steps are simple - and there is no substitute! In case you didn't read that last bit: There is no substitute!

Information: Learn the Word (Get the Information first-hand. Remember it, memorize it)
Meditation: Meditate on it - Think on it - Speak it (How can you do this if you can't quote it?)
Revelation: Ask for God to reveal it to you, to open the eyes of your understanding
Participation: DO IT! ["Be a doer of the word, and not just a hearer only, deceiving yourself." [James
1:22]
Manifestation: The result will be the manifestation of the promises in your life

Summary:
God has given us "all things that pertain to life, and to godly living" - and He has provided the means to us
whereby we can become partakers (right now) of the divine nature (the same quality of life that God lives) And - We can only access these things through the revelation knowledge of the Word of God. [2 Peter 1:2-4]
What's more: We can expect to receive grace, and divine favor in ever-increasing amounts as we increase in
the revelation knowledge of Him.
Therefore, I encourage each of you to purpose to attaining increased revelation in the knowledge of the One
who has called us to glory and to moral excellence.
You can do this in a number of ways:

Spend more time in the Word of God [There is no substitute]

Spend more time in direct communication with Him (prayer) [There is no substitute]

Seek out and attend the services, bible studies, conferences, etc, where people possessing more
revelation than you, can teach you and help you to grow
