    Children are being asked to bring in a shoebox or small box decorated on the outside with no names to use as an "Identity Box" for a school project. Each child should select 5-6 artifacts or pictures representing their culture, family traditions, where they or family members have lived to place inside the box. Pictures of flags, traditional art, or symbols of home countries can help represent where the child's parents come from. The boxes will be used in a guessing game to inspire the children to create art about their culture and identity, and are due back the week of November 21st.
