Dialling mode switch

Set this switch (position 14) according to
the desired dialling mode: PULSE (P) or
TONE (T1 for 100 ms flash time or T2 for
270 ms flash time). For more details,
please see Setting the dialling mode.
Key Lock
In case of you have purchased the model
with the key lock feature (position 17), the
package will include two keys to be used
with the telephone. When locking your
telephone, you disable all the keys
functionalities; therefore you can avoid the
use of the telephone for undesired calls.

Installation
Handset cord
Connect the long end of the handset cord in
the socket marked with the symbol
(position 11). Insert the cord in the cable
line (position 15) and attach the short end
to the handset.

Wall-Mount installation
To install the telephone on wall, use the two
holes localized on underside of the
telephone (position 13) to case the screws.
Make the holes on the wall with a 6 mm drill
bit, using the template (marks ) provided
on page 10 of this manual as a reference
(bushings and screws are not included).
Besides, use a screwdriver to snap out the
handset clip (position 18), as show in detail
A and insert it into the handset wall

Line cord
Connect the line cord in the socket marked
(position 12). Insert the

legal requirements.

Detail A

Setting the dialling mode (tone/pulse)

Your telephone must be programmed for
TONE dialling or PULSE dialling, according
to the telephone line it is connected to. The
default factory setting is the TONE dialling
mode with the flash time of 250 ms
(DTMF).

Checking the dialling mode:

Press any numeric key. If you can still hear
a dialling tone, change to the other dialling
mode.
Switching the dialling mode:
The switch located on the bottom of the
telephone allows you to do three settings:
P PULSE
T1 TONE flash 100 ms
T2 TONE flash 270 ms

Recommendations for Installation

Please, observe the following guidelines:

Temporary changeover of dialling mode:

While the telephone is set to PULSE
dialling it may be necessary to temporarily
change the dialling mode to TONE dialling.

For your own safety and protection, do

not uses the telephone in places with
overheat or extreme humidity. The
telephone operates at temperatures
between 0C and +55C and it is not
water-proof.
Varnished or lacquered furniture may be
marked by some parts of the telephone
such as the rubber feet.

This key may be used when the telephone

is connected on a PBX system; it inserts a
pause of approximately 3,6 seconds
between the digits. It works after pressing
or entering the first digit, when pressing the
PAUSE key. These pauses can be stored
in the one-touch memories, two-touch
memories and in the REDIAL key .

Storing phone numbers in memories

The telephone has 14 memories: 10 twotouch memories and 4 one-touch memories
(indicated as 2 on page 1). All these
memories may store up to 21 digits each
one.
Storing phone numbers in the one-touch
memories:

The new adjustment will only take effect on

the next incoming call.

 It is possible to store an external phone

number in one of the one-touch or twotouch memories, when the telephone is
connected on a PBX system. Just insert
before the phone number that will be
stored, the access code for external line
followed by a pause (press the PAUSE
key).

Seleccin del modo de marcacin

El conmutador (indicador 14) permite
seleccionar el modo de marcacin por
pulsos (P) o por tonos (T1 para flash 100
ms e T2 para flash 270 ms). Para detalles
vea por favor el tem "Ajustando el modo
de marcacin" en este manual.
Bloqueo de llamadas
Si usted compr la versin con llave de
bloqueo (indicador 17), el embalaje
contiene dos llaves que se puede utilizar
para bloquear el teclado del aparato. Al
bloquear el telfono, las teclas sern
inhibidas, evitando que el aparato sea
usado de modo indebido.

Instalacin
Conexin del cordn extensible del
microtelfono
Enchufe el conector con el extremo largo y
recto en la hembrilla marcada con el
(indicador 11). Enchufe el
smbolo
extremo corto en el microtelfono. Tienda
el cable por el conducto (indicador 15) que
hay en el fondo del aparato.

Montaje en Pared
Para montar el telfono en la pared, los
agujeros deben ser hechos con broca de 6
mm (tornillos no incluidos). Utilice la marca
de la pgina 10 de este manual como
referencia para hacer los agujeros en la
pared. Los tornillos se encajan en las
aberturas (indicador 13). Adems la pieza
(indicador 18) debe ser destacada de la
base (de acuerdo con el detalle A) y

impulsos). En el estado de suministro, el
aparato tiene ajustado el procedimiento de
seleccin por multifrecuencia con flash de
250ms (multifrecuencial).

Por su seguridad y proteccin, le
recomendamos no utilizar el equipo en
habitaciones hmedas, pues el mismo no
es resistente a salpicaduras de agua. Se
recomienda utilizar el aparato a
