Communication Design presents visual information for
communication purposes Includes Graphic Design, Information Design,
Digital and Web Design, Advertising, Print Publication/ Book Illustration
and Typographic Design, Package/surface Design and Logo Design and
Brand Identity.

Brief:

Create an A3 poster to advertise the food truck business you

focused upon in the Environmental Design Project. Your poster design will
need to:

Include the title of your business

use type appropriately
Include relevant imagery
Use a clear hierarchy of information
Create a balanced composition

To complete this project, you will need to complete the following tasks
using both manual and digital methods.
1. Analysis and comparison of three movie posters (this will form your
research & starting point for design task)
2. Visualisation drawings to generate ideas
3. Experimentation with two different media and materials (workshops
will be provided during class)
4. Design thinking strategies (this should be reflected in your
annotations throughout the task)
5. Create 3 design concepts that incorporate the two different media
and materials that were experimented with
6. Annotate the mockup
7. Print A3 colour final presentation
