M&M & Tech Mahindra to acquire Italian car design company

Pininfarina. To form an SPV where M&M will hold 40 percent and Tech
Mahindra will hold 60 percent. SPV to make open offer to public
shareholders of Pininfarina for 23.94 percent share -To acquire 76.06
percent in Pininfarina for euro 25.3 million. SPV to infuse euro 20
million into Pininfarina via rights issue.

Infosys said it had made an investment of $3 million (around Rs 20
crore) in US-based sports technology and wearable devices start-up,
WHOOP, to take a minority stake, not exceeding 20 per cent.

Indian share indices closed firm on the back of favourable

macroeconomic numbers with October industrial production up 9.8
per cent and wholesale prices falling for a 13th straight month in
November quoting at -1.99 percent.
