Through recommendation from my professors at Arizona State University, I have been informed
of an opening as a software engineer for your company. Professor Navabi of the Fulton School of
Engineering urged me to take this offer, and I would like to meet with you in person in order to
discuss further of this opportunity. For the past couple of years, I have been developing software
and applications for ease of human use. Based on the direction that your company is taking in
allowing a more user friendly interface for your software, I believe my extensive knowledge in
programming and ability to work with others can benefit the cause of Kanda Software. Since you
are looking for newer perspectives and innovative ideas for how your software can be enhanced
and create a friendlier design without losing out on the functionality.
After looking through your website, I understand that you are looking for fresh minds out of
college that can be trusted to uphold the tasks of maintenance for developed software. As a
graduate of Barrett the Honors College with a degree in Computer Science, I believe my
understanding of heavy workloads and extensive knowledge with digital applications will aid
your companys direction of moving forward. In fact, in my CSE 205 class which involved using
GUI (Graphic User Interface), I was able to thoroughly complete each assignment and aid those
around me to create more efficient code. The experience will help Kanda Software to develop
software in the allotted time given, as well as allow for improvement between coworkers on the
development team.
Your website is looking for knowledge of at least Java, C, C++, C#, html, and .Net. I have
knowledge and comfortability of each of these languages, including simpler languages such as
Ruby and Python. Throughout my studies at ASU under the Computer Science major, I have
received high marks on each of the computer science courses, never receiving a grade under an
A. Additionally, my course work involved creating interface that could be easily accessible as
well as collaborative work in which teamwork was very crucial. I have proven to instructors and

peers that I am a very diligent worker. My diligence will allow me to understand and adapt to
company protocols taught in the training and execute them as soon as possible.
Kanda Software is an innovative company with the potential to develop software that is easily
