Stabilizing Population is not desirable because without more consumers, economic would stop
The economy is the system of goods and money used by a given society. Growth means getting bigger. Development
means becoming more advanced or complex.Economic growth and development can mean an economy that becomes
advanced, larger, diverse, profitable, and expand into new regions/horizons.Consumer spending is an important economic
factor because it usually coincides with the overall consumer confidence in a nations economy. Population is considered
as an important determinant of economic growth. In this respect population is working both as a stimulant as well as
hurdles to economic growth. Firstly, population provides labor and entrepreneurship as an important factor service.
In the statement above ,I disagree with that completely because by balancing out the population doesn't mean
economic growth will stop. the population that is already there will still spend and spend by stabilizing the population, it
allows the people already there to be able to work more, which means they earn money that they didn't have to spend on
other people. higher rate of population growth can put serious hurdles on the path of economic development Moreover,
growth of population at a higher rate usually eat up all the benefits of economic development leading to a slow growth of
per capital income. In addition , we don't need to have our population to keep rising just for economy to keep growing.
In the contrast on that , I agree with the statement, stabilizing the population is not desirable because not all countries
has a huge population or should I say enough population to maintain the economy. They need to keep their population
rising so that they will achieve a high economic growth and more consumers. In addition, A large population translates
into a greater domestic market, a stimulating investment in knowledge and attracting investors and multinational
companies in areas that previously lacked them. Even though population growth is often associated with a shortage of
supplies, a high growth can lead to a greater consciousness of innovations when it comes to producing food, as well as
increasing other much needed resources such as fresh water. Moreover ,more people means a greater pool of individuals
who can generate new ideas for improving productivity in a wide range of fields.
I conclude, in the argument above about the statement Stabilizing Population is not desirable because without more
consumers, economic would stop. That argument tells us that we the people living in the same country must be
observable to the things that surrounds us and must be responsible enough on the things that is happening in our country.
Also it measures our knowledge if we really now what are the problems that our country is facing right now and in the
future and we must have a wide understanding on how consumers plays an important role in the economic development.
In order to understand why rapid population growth is a threat and why we need to control it we must examine the
problems which population expansion generates.
