HOW TO MAKE PAPER SHIP

1. Take a piece of rectangular paper with the longer edges to the side. Fold it in half lengthwise so
the top meets the bottom - with the fold at the "top" of the piece of paper.
2. Fold in to half width and unfold - this marks your center line.
3. Fold the top right corner down so the top edge lines up with the center line.
4. Flip over. Repeat. This should create a "house" like shape with a "big" roof line and about an inch
of paper below the triangle of the roof
5. Fold bottom edge up.
6. Flip over the paper and repeat. This makes a paper hat shape.
7. Grasp the hat shape in the center. Do this at the point where the diagonal creases meet.
8. Pull apart the paper and flatten. You should end up with a diamond-shaped piece of paper.
9. Fold the bottom edge up. Leave about a 1/4 of an inch (0.65 cm) border between the top edge and
the edge of portion that has been folded-up. Once done, flip the paper over.
10. Fold the bottom edge to line up with the other side.
11. Hold the paper ship in the middle of the bottom edge. Pull it apart and flatten
12. Take the left and right triangular portions and pull apart. The bottom edge will flip up on its
own.
13. Look at your creation. Your paper ship is now complete!

PLAYING THE HOLE GAME

One marble per person

Steps:

HOW TO MAKE A KITE
Materials Needed :
1. A2 paper
2. String (thick)
3. Pipe cleaners / sticks
4. Scissors
5. Colored pencils (optional)
6. Tape (optional)
Steps :
1. Get a piece of paper (any color), and cut a diamond shape from it. Sometimes it is better if you
tape four pieces together. But you have to tape them together the right way. Tape two together,
then tape together the other two. Tape them on each other.

2. To cut a diamond shape on the paper (if you are not taping four sheets together), cut the 4
corners off. It should be in the shape of a square. the paper horizontally.
3. Repeat step 2 but this time lay it across the paper vertically.
4. Tie the two sticks or pipe cleaners together. Make it as tight as possible.
5. Pierce 2 holes in the diamond-shaped paper. On the inside corner where the two sticks cross,
thread a thick string.
6. Using the other end of the thick string, do the same. Then tie the string when both of the ends
of the string are threaded through.
7. Tie a long and strong string onto the sticks or pipe cleaners to form the tail. You can add small
strips of paper to the end of this tail string for added buoyancy and weighting. It also looks
more complete.
8. Color the kite if you want.

HOW TO PLAY 'HIDE & SEEK
HOW TO PLAY :
1). Select the players. The first thing you need to do to play "Hide and Seek" is to recruit players. At
least two players are needed to play the game. Naturally, however, the more players you have, the
better.
2). Set down rules. If you do not set down rules, you will have people running to places that have
maybe things like antiques or private things. And, people may run outside when everybody's inside.
Block off rooms like the attic, parent's bedrooms, any room that holds heirlooms, and bedrooms. Or let
people hide in those places, just say things like, "All right, you are allowed to hide in my bedroom, just
don't mess up the bed and put everything back in its place."
3). Find a suitable location. An outdoor location works best, although indoors is fine for rainy days. It
will be necessary to set boundaries for hiding or you will have players running off to too many far-off
locations.
4). Determine who will be "It". Working out who is "It" can be done a variety of ways, for instance the youngest person might be "It" first; or the person whose birthday is next might be "It" first; or use
an elimination word game, such as "One Potato, Two Potato" or similar game, or pick a number out of
a hat, and #1 is "It".
5). Begin the game. Once the person who will be "It" has been chosen, he or she stays at home base,
closes his or her eyes and begins counting out loud to 10 at a steady pace.
6). Hide. All of the players who are not "It" should run off and quietly hide from the player who is
counting. The person who is "It" is not allowed to peek at the players hiding from him or her.
7). Begin the seeking. Once the player who is "It" has finished counting, he or she yells "Ready or not,
here I come!". At this point, the player who is "It" must try to find all of the other players who have
hidden. The players who are hiding can move or switch hiding places.
8). Change the person who is "It". The player who gets found first becomes "It" in the next round of
the game.

HOW TO PLAY CONGKLAK

1. Prepare the congklak board which is consist of two rows of seven holes called the houses and
two bigger houses called storehouse
2. Prepare the congklak seeds
3. Fill each houses with at least seven congklak seeds while the storehouses are left empty
4. Start playing by scooping up all the seeds in any house on player side
5. Drop the seeds one by one into the next house and a player drops it into his storehouse too,
but doesnt deposit it into his opponents storehouse
6. Distribute the seed into the next house round the board. If the last seed drops into an empty
house belonging to the opponent, the player forfeits his turn and stops playing. If the last seed
drops into the house which containing seeds, the player scoops up all the seeds in that house
and continues ditributing them round the board
7. Play it simultaneosly until no one seed left on house in both rows
8. Count all seeds in the players storehouse, A player will win if the total of seeds in his
storehouse more than his opponent.

HOW TO PLAY ENGKLEK THE OLD TRADITIONAL GAME

Engklek is an old traditional game that still brings loads of fun and laughter in school yards
everywhere. With these easy steps you can create your own Engklek at home, inside or out!
What you need:
chalk or masking tape

markers for each person playing pebble, bottle cap, shell, button, etc.

The steps :
The first use chalk to draw a pattern on the ground or use masking tape on the floor. Second, create a
diagram with eight/nine sections and number them. Next, each player has a marker such as a stone,
bottlecap, shell, button, etc. The first player stands behind the starting line to toss his or her marker in
square one. After that, jump over square one to square two and then continue jump to square eight, turn
around, and jump back again. Then, pause in square two to pick up the marker, jump in square one, and

Materials :
Bamboo is old and strong , 30-40 cm long with a diameter of 1-1.5 cm .

Steps :
