Abyang Doronoon:

*feels kilig because Labaw Donggon is so gwapo [XD]* Yes! Of course I will.

Narrator:

And so, he also took her home.

Labaw Donggon:
Sinagmaling Diwata.
Alunsina:

Mother, I am going on another journey, this time it is to ask for the hand of Malitong Yawa

What?! Isnt she the young bride of Saragnayan? The one who takes charge of the course of the sun?

Labaw Donggon:

Yes, Mother. But no one can stop me from doing what I want.

Scene 6
Narrator:
This trip required him to use his biday nga inagta (black boat) on which he sailed across the seas for
many months, went across the region of the clouds, and passed the land of stones until finally he reached the shores
of Tulogmatian which was the seaside fortress of Saragnayan. And the moment he set foot on the ground
Saragnayan:

Who are you and why are you here?

Labaw Donggon:
I am Labaw Donggon, son of Buyung Paubari and Abyang Alunsina of Halawod. I came for the
beautiful Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata.
Saragnayan:
HAHAHAHA! That is a wishful thinking! From what cave were you hiding for you not to know
that she is my wife? HAHAHAHAHA. Dream on Labaw Donggon. You can only have her over my dead body.
Labaw Donggon:

Oh really? Well then, I challenge you to a duel. Whoever wins, will have her. Deal?

Saragnayan:

Ha! I doubt you can beat me.

Narrator:
And so they started fighting. *plays Eye of the Tiger [XD]*
Labaw Donggon submerged Saragnayan under water for seven years, *play 7 Years by Lukas Graham [JOKE]* but
when he let go *Let it go, let it go~* of him, Saragnayan was still alive.

Labaw Donggon:

What?! After all these years, youre still alive?!

Narrator:
Saragnayans uprooted a coconut tree and started beating Labaw Donggon with it. He survived the
beating but was not able to surpass the powers of Saragnayans pamlang (amulet)
Labaw Donggon:

*in pain* Saragnayan! Stop! Please! I give up, okay? I give up!

Saragnayan:
Ha! So really thought you have what it takes? *evil laugh* Turns out, youre no match to me. Now,
you deserve to be imprisoned inside a pig pen beneath my kitchen. *binds Labaw Donggons feet and arms*

Scene 8
Narrator:

Back home, Abyang Ginbitinan and Abyang Doronoon both delivered sons.

*Abyang Ginbitinan and Abyang Doronoon wails in pain as they labor*

Abyang Ginbitinan: My precious child, I shall name you Asu Mangga.
Abyang Doronoon:

And you beloved son shall be called Buyung Baranugun.

Narrator:
Only a few days after they were born, Asu Mangga and Buyung Baranugun embarked to look for their
father. They rode their sailboats through the region of eternal darkness, passed the region of the clouds and the land
of stones, finally reaching Saragnayans home.
Asu Mangga:

Brother, let us use your crystal ball to know fathers whereabouts.

Buyung Baranugun: Here! Here he is. Father is taken as a prisoner of Saragnayan. Look, hes old now and his body is
entirely covered with long hair.
Asu Mangga:

*furious* This cant be! Come on, brother! Lets free our father.

Scene 9
Narrator:
The brothers found where their father is imprisoned under Saragnayans house; they broke the iron
bars of his cage with the help of their pamlang and lead him out of the cage and to their magic boat. They wash their
father clean until he is handsome once more.
Labaw Donggon:

*In a pitiful state* I had a looong, futile fight with Saragnayan.

Buyung Baranugun: We know father. And for this reason, we vow to avenge you from that humiliation.
Asu Mangga:

SARAGNAYAAAAAN! (3x) WE CHALLENGE YOU FOR A FIGHT!

Buyung Baranugun: IF YOU REALLY ARE BRAVE, COME ON AND FACE US!!! SARAGNAYAAAAAN!
Narrator:

Saragnayan lost his courage so he summons help from all parts of the universe.

Buyung Baranugun: Gentlemen, if I were you, I wont meddle with someone elses fight that doesnt concern me.
Asu Mangga:
Come on, lads! Why dont you leave us alone? While were still asking you politely. I bet you
wouldnt like it the other way around.
Narrator:
The men insist on fighting so the two brothers started shooting down with their poisoned arrows
which pierce through seven men until Saragnayan was the only one left but they could not kill him.
Asu Mangga:

Brother, I think we should find out the secret of Saragnayan's power!

Baranugun:

Yes, I will send Taghuy to Abyang Alunsina to ask her of the secret of Saragnayan's power.

Scene 10
Alunsina:
*voice over only* My precious grandsons, Saragnayan's breath was being kept and taken cared of by
a wild boar in the mountain.
Buyung Baranugun: Brother, lets go to the mountain and slay that boar. Lets eat the heart of that animal, because
that is the life of Saragnayan.
Narrator:
Saragnayan:
Narrator:

And so they did.

*pants; holds chest; whispers* Why do I suddenly feel weak?
But he knew what had happened. He knew that this is going to be his downfall.

Scene 11
Saragnayan:
*weeping* I know this is going to be the fall of me. Buyung Baranugun will soon be here to kill
me, but please, can I just have time to bid my darling goodbye?

Saragnayan:

*cuddles Malitong Yawa tenderly then puts her in a hammock*

Saragnayan:
My love, all my victories cannot offset this defeat. Yes, I am defeated this time, love. *silently
cries* And this defeat brings us to my end. Love, you know that all good things must come to an end, right? And that
the end is only just a beginning.
*wipes tears* So, uh Always obey Labaw Donggon, ayt? And you should get along well with his other wives.
Love, always remember that I have and will always love you. *kisses her forehead; then walks away*
Narrator:
He was now ready to confront the two sons of Labaw. It was only Baranugun who faced him in
bloody fight. A brief but violent fight.
Buyung Baranugun: I will make sure this will finally put your life to an end. Aaaaah! *strikes Saragnayans eyes with
poison arrows*
Narrator:
With a great cry, Saragnayan falls, his death struggles sending the whole world a-tremble, for it is in
his body that the earthquake is kept.

Scene 12
Narrator:
After the fight, Buyung Baranugun returns to their boat to take his father home but he is nowhere to
be found. So they assumed that their father was already home and so they bounded home.
Asu Mangga:

Brother, that was a good fight!

Buyung Baranugun: Ah, yes. Thanks brother. But have you seen Father?
Asu Mangga:

WHAT?! FATHER IS GONE? AGAIN?! ONCE MORE?! FOR THE SECOND TIME AROUND?!

Humadapnon: Wait. What did you just say? Your father is lost? I shall intensely search for him in the land.
Dumalapdap:

And I shall search for him in the sea.

Humadapnon: Brother! Brother! I already found Labaw Donggon! He hid himself inside the fish net, covering himself
and shivering in fright.
Narrator:

And so his brothers brought him home first to Anggoy Ginbitinan then to Abyang Doronoon.

Abyang Doronoon: How pitiful of our dear husband, can no longer hear and is out of his mind. How I wish we could
rehabilitate him.

Ginbitinan:
Rehabilitate? Pitiful? Really?! Duh, its his fault why he ended up that way, anyways. If only he
didnt desired for other girls and was contented of us.
Humadapnon: Dont be like that dear sister-in-law. Thats how skilled fighters should behave. *smirks* So anyways,
do you know if Malitung Yawa has other sisters?
Labaw Donggon:
*grasps for air* Malitung Yawa! Yes! Malitung Yawa! Shes the girl Ive been wanting to marry.
Shes the girl! Lets fetch her so I can marry her!
Ginbitinan:

Fetch her?

Abyang Doronoon: Malitung Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata?

Labaw Donggon:
Awwwe. Dont be jealous, my darlings. I will love all of you equally and I only need a child from
her to inherit my name.
Ginbitinan:

Well, if thats what you say.

Narrator:
But because they loved Labaw so much, they gave in to his wish. Labaw laid down on the floor and
the two women jumped over him, bringing back his strength and sharpness of mind. Labaw cried out in joy and his
voice reverberated over the land.
